Great video, helped me with a project on 2022 RDX. The only problem I had was removing tight down hooks. Special tool is needed to get them out as screws attached permanently’. You will need a Bit Impact Screwdriver to remove screws. Also had to move power black wire, just like in this video. Thanks for fuse advice, as that worked for 2022 model.
Hi @Bebik22 I’m looking to install the wiring harness on my rdx, could you share which wiring system did you purchase and if there’s anything I should be aware of?
Did this for my RDX, got the wiring harness from U-Haul as well. The box says “for RDX, direct plug and play.” After finishing, none of the lights were working. Checking carefully, the coloured wires were all in a different order. I matched the wires with the ones in this video, (red>brown>green>yellow on bottom, black top corner) and then it started working. If anybody has the same issue, move the colours around to match this pattern.
It sounds like you may have recieved a Harness that was pinned incorrectly. This can happen and It is likely Human error at the assembly facility. Hopefully no one else encounters this. Super Glad you figured it out. Way to go!
