Great to see a hdj79 on the channel. Like many of your customers, the shed at home holds a hj47 but I drive a hdj79 daily. Can't beat the FTE. Cheers for sharing!
@@MrLandcruiserthanks, learnt something new. Always thought the 79 started with the V8, and had the integrated front indicators. Which year was this built if you don't mind me asking? A quick Google states 99. Does this mean Toyota released the last of the 75's and the first of the 79's in 1999, and the difference was obviously the engine, the coil springs with shorter leafsprings.

Looks good. Nice to hear that it is staying with the family.
They say variety is the spice of life, but I do love the older trucks. No complaints, your videos are always interesting.
Thanks mate 👍
A change is as good as a holiday they say, looks like that was a holiday to a mine site lol.

Don't be so sure this will be the last 70 Series in the yard, the clutch in my 12HT 5spd 75 series won't fix itself.

Yeah but 30 times cooler and more reliable
@@josepharthur2338 they both have their flaws and strengths
@@ehpunka true. It’s good yours is comfy. You’ll need to be comfortable waiting for a tow on the side of the road with a cracked piston xo.
