  • The day has finally come, we start work on the HZJ75 Toyota LandCruiser. It's from the year 1995. Picked her up on Facebook marketplace and the plan is to remove all the rust, fix the dints, respray (potenial colour change) and then make it the best touring rig out there! Its going to be an amazing adventure, so stick around and see how we transform this car into an epic rig!

I thought this 75 looked fine until I saw the rust. Good project though.

Yeah mate, it was a killer. Got it at a good price thanks to that rust. Sure looks a lot different now!

Hey mate, Been loving these 75 series videos, similar endeavours taking place with my father and I currently as well! Was just wondering if you had much frame rust??? I’ve not found much at all on the body, bit of surface and paint, except the floor panels. Plenty of work to be done on the frame in our case. Subbed 👍🏽 Keep up the amazing work bro!

Hey - thanks heaps. Really appreciate you watching and commenting. Theres heaps more 75 series videos to come!
Our frame had heaps of rust so we ended up getting a new one from Toyota. We repaired the widow frame and the roof. Repairing rust takes so long, but well worth it. Keen to see yours!

How have you got that mig set up? .6 or .8 wire and what volts and wire speed. Welding metal this thin is annoying haha

as a 75 series owner, why did you choose a 75 to tour? LOL

Im thinking the same thing.....we are well down the hole. It was honestly just the cost that we got the car for. We had no idea it would turn into what it has.
