Excuse me while I run for my life 💀 Edit: Will you people please watch the video, like people keep telling me I skipped Xiumin, I skipped Suho, I skipped Sehun, I skipped Jhope but they are literally in the video! Double-check before claiming I skipped people that I didn't...clown behaviour
kai communicates so much with his eyes, that's what always shocks me. he doesn't need to 'practice' his expressions as I've noticed some idols do, but just feel the music move through him, and he exudes whatever the song's meaning is with his whole body and expressions. indeed the king!
“He can be over-the-top and still not look weird.” So accurate. Kai is on a whole new level. I had to make a seperate comment for Kai because sorry not sorry, Kai is literally the one who saves EXO's stage presence. He looks so passionate and he just feels himself. He's literally undescribable.
Jooheon being this high made me so happy like finally someone gives him the praise he deserves. That man does it all and he’s genuinely an ACE and extremely underrated. He makes you FEEL THINGS on stage bro 😫
As someone who has recently been getting into Monsta X (by this I mean I am obsessed with the song LOVE like the 90s boyband vibes and the jazziness WHOO), I 100% agree. His stage presence and swag is so strong yet it comes off as natural.
I would love to go to their concert. They are an incredible group and surprisingly surpassed the first group I used to be so obsessed with on my list of ults groups!
@@Godisgoodhonestly omg the same! I just knew BB would forever be my #1 but since they haven’t been very active ATEEZ snuck up on me and took their spot. I’m still a ViPtiny tho!

I'm a new atiny, and I have to say that Seonghwa is my favorite performer in ATEEZ (at least so far)! He has so much energy on stage, and his expressions are a treat to watch! He's amazing!
This is why I was like WHAT??! when Ateez wasn't nominated for a performance award at MAMA. Like who deserves it more than this performance powerhouse group?
@@anyone1111At least for me, the ateez jp comeback on award season it's a clever way to show that, they don't need this ceremonies validation at this point 😊💖
Also I feel like ppl need to know ppl usually hate on san by saying he’s frightening or some shit (always hala hala) but if u look at the whole concept and lyrics to the song. That’s what you are MEANT to feel, it means he’s doing a fantastic job at embodying the performance. Hala hala talks about a suicide squad, it’s meant to be scary. Fireworks is talking out playing with fire, it’s meant to be scary and intense too! So I really love and appreciate san as a performer, he always hits the mark on what the concept and the song is meant to convey to his audience.
This, everyone who has something to say about him should watch their faves performing ateez’s songs before opening their mouth. Like if you don’t perform a song like guerrilla or like hala hala the way San does, you probably appear awkward or with no energy. For me he really is the best performer in kpop no only because of his facial expressions and his stage presence, but especially because of his versatility because it’s really hard to find an idol that delivers both hala hala and eternal sunshine the way San does
Don't mind them. Most of the bashers are people who know nothing about the art of dancing or performing. Once they get behind their phones they become judge and jury. San is the best especially in 4th gen and whoever that's seconding him is a thousand points behind.
Something I respect San so much for is the fact that though a lot of his facial expressions may be raw emotion in the passion of the moment, he does take the time to think about the concept of a song, it’s lyrics, the choreography and perform with facial expressions gestures that are appropriate and add to that. He creates a story and evokes emotions with his movements which is truly mesmerising, and often frightening, whether he is in the centre or not.
@@Blue_Pearlz I don’t hate San or anything, but he is far too intense for me, I feel super uncomfortable watching him. This is coming from someone who has danced their entire life. I don’t think he’s a bad performer, I think he lacks self-control, which Cheryl did say he’d essentially said of himself. I’m glad people like him, and I’m not trying to say you or anyone else shouldn’t. But people are also allowed to not like him, and it’s just as rude to invalidate people’s real criticism, as it is to hate on him for simple preference.
Jin is my ult, for many reasons, but I agree in almost all that you said, he hardworking, he tries his best since debut, and think he does what is necessary in the performance but naturally he shines so much more in emotional songs, and he breaks my heart and makes me feel everything in songs like the True untold, epiphany, spring day, butterfly, etc, he just so special for me Anyways, thank you for your hard work, is so difficult to talk about stage presence without being biased
OMG SAME. Jin has been my bias ever since I got into BTS first (even though Jimin bias wrecked me completely with his filter performance and now he's my ult) but I was so effing sure that Jin would be among the lowest ranks here. I was totally mentally prepared to hear criticism about his sp. I love his vocals and personality but i do agree he focuses more on getting the choreography right. But his growth over the years is extremely appreciable in almost every field be it singing dancing or performing. During their debut days, he didn't shine vocally as much and his dancing skills were extremely stiff but look at him now????? He has improved so much and I couldn't be any more prouder of him.
Jin biased here and I have to admit I never watch his fan cams. Cheryl nails it, you can sort of tell that he concentrates too much on the choreo. But gosh when that man sings it’s like the emotions are physically tangible.
yeah, when I heard people saying that exo is good group, I was like ok let me check on them, and aaaaah they great guys with good vocals, but the stage presence, sorry I didn't see it.
@@rowanjoy419 I felt the same. Checked them out because of their popularity and found them to have amazing vocalists and then there is Kai... and that's it.
@@ipromisethatserendipityisa9656 yeah, really sad, is kinda like u want to get in to them but just do not feel it. That is why I do not blame people for licking the least talent member because may that one has a good stage presence or personality.
I saw Ateez live a few months ago and it was an EXPERIENCE. I already knew that Hongjoong, San and Seonghwa were the top performers of the group but seeing them live really highlighted it. Seonghwa's charisma and facial expressions were fantastic, San's energy and body language were out of this world and omg Hongjoong really carried the concert, what a king! Who surprised me was Yunho, he was reallyyyy good live and definitely the top 4 behind the others that day :)
Namjoon's stage presence is my favourite in BTS along with Hoseok. My attention is always spilt between the two and it's hard to ignore one for the other. Namjoon _demands_ attention and I just give it to him. Hoseok is beyond passionate, he has this effortless way about him that draws you in, and once you find him it's near impossible to look away. Also BTS as whole.. *chef's kiss* they are so brilliant and work so seamlessly together while also having the most fun. Never a boring performance with them.
Agreed. I went to a virtual concert with my brother and I was extremely impressed. I was kinda forced to watch what the camera showing but their charisma was still crazy. I haven’t watched enough fancams but I enjoy Jimin as a performer the most but watching any of them is guaranteed to be entertaining.
Right like them as a whole is just beautifully amazing i don't have words i love evry single performance of them cause it's never boring to watch and even individually i think they are so amazing that i can't take my eyes off them. They are the best.
Wow, first time I agreed with the ranking of BTS members. Jin seems awkward because he's concentrating on the choreo but is so emotive with his ballads. Suga is magnetic when he's rapping but could not GAF during group dances. RM - he's just... ineffable. V - well, finally someone who sees what I see. JK, of course, our golden maknae, the all rounder. Jimin - so much more comfortable and expressive with their musical direction now (proof that agencies should give more independence to their artists rather than force them into a concept). And J-Hope - he owns the stage. I have no doubt he was put on this earth to be a performer.
Suga did so good in run bts and I have seen him in real life at concert he is most charismatic and knows how to hype the crowd more than anyone girrrrrl
Monsta X archetypes make so much sense. If you think about some of the pairings within the group, and then look at the archetypes, it's so obvious why they work so well together: - Minhyuk and Hyungwon - how they usually have back-to-back verses, because one is overt + charismatic, and the other is covert + sensual. Plus they sometimes get paired for choreo like in Shoot Out or for a MV scene like in All In. Their energies just balance each-other so well - Same when you think about Jooheon and I.M as a main and lead rapper - again you have the covert / overt dynamic to create one of the best raplines in kpop - Then when you think of the main vocal / main rapper dynamic - Kihyun (charismatic) and Jooheon (dominant). Both are overt and both are masters of their styles. So it means that there is never a boring part of the performance. There is absolutely no way you are zoning out during one of Jooheon's raps or while Kihyun is literally doing jumping jacks and singing at the top of his lungs. Also, their 2Chain subunit speaks for itself tbh - And last but not least you have Shownu and Wonho - who once again were so compatible (and no wonder people often bias them together). I don't know what Wonho's archetype is, but it works so well with Shownu's. Once again like Hyungwon and Minhyuk, they have so many back-to-back lines, plus iconic choreo pairings like in Dramarama for example, or Mirror. - There are so many other pairings that work, like Shownu/Jooheon, or Wonho/Hyungwon, but these are just some examples. It's incredible to me how well-balanced Monsta X is and that's why I think they are capable of adapting so much, even when members leave, because of those inner dynamics.
Monsta X was such an insane group with their duos tbh. I still believe changkyun and jooheon are Thee Rap Duo, not just because they are amazing rappers but also the way they bounce off of each other is truly unmatched. Wonho and Shownu are also a very great combination, wonho was the center, lead dancer and lead vocalist and shownu is the leader, main dancer and lead vocalist, which naturally meant that they shared a lot of lines and moves and the way they compared against each other... I will forever mourn the Mirror performance we probably were gonna get at mama 2019.
@@e.1067 We were robbed of so many things in 2019, but somehow everyone came out of it stronger. Both Monsta X and Wonho have had so much success since. But yeah, the OT7 lineup will forever be the most iconic. I'm just imagining what it would be like to see them on stage together now after everyone has leveled up. It will be insane.
I'm Ateez demon-line biased - but if you ask any great performer who debuted in the last few years (including San, Seonghwa and Hongjoong) who the best is - they'll say Kai. And for being small companies, KQ and Starship sure are great at getting talent!

Exo is first and foremost a vocal group, i think most of them especially the vocal line conserve energy to deliver their best vocally. Also kai is such a standout performer that they're prolly used to having him as the 'crutch' in performances. Which is why they were kinda oh shit when he couldnt join the cream soda promos and the rest had to work harder to step up their game, and we saw a sudden, noticeable improvement in their dancing overall lol SM really knows what they're doing when they keep putting kai front and center since debut. The man spent years hiding chanyeol's giant ass in choreos lol. He's such a magnetic performer that your eyes couldnt help but gravitate to him. Perfect blend of skills and the IT factor
Monsta X is a group that has been through a lot. Many people thought that they would have disbanded in 2019 bc of the scandal but the fact that they pulled through was truly amazing. As a monbebe, I'm very proud of what both Monsta X and Wonho have achieved. I hope they continue to thrive
really agree with your comment about ateez always giving something new even when they've performed the same song multiple times. that's one of their strengths. they're all unique performers and value individuality on stage. they aren't mathematically synchronised but they move so naturally completely immersed in their characters. i actively watch each members fancams to see a different story cause they all highlight something unique in the song+performance. ateez don't perform as of it's their job but as if it's their entire life.
Can I just say that I am so happy with Hongjoong’s placement. I’ve always felt like his stage presence is OUTSTANDING! The best in Ateez in my opinion or at least the most consistent across the board BUT I never see him brought up when people have stage presence conversations! And then I found your channel and you make these videos so I was like yesssss!!!!! Someone’s finally going to talk about HJ’s presence in a comprehensive way (more than just Ateez good- demon line good- HJ good) AND THEN YOU NEVER SPOKE ABOUT HIM!!!! OMG YES! some BTS members individually may not be as good as others but as a group they are unbeatable, they always slay no matter what concept, I think their teamwork, passion, love for their work and their bond does the job!
Actually like 7 of them has great stage presence but for example jin individually shine in ballads The rap line is great , the rest are great too so idk they are unbeatable to me
I often hear the word 'synergy' and while I know the technical meaning, the word means nothing to me until... BTS. Their synergy on stage and off stage is incomparable and watching it makes me have fluffy feelings.

The most accurate take about kai. Literally. That's why i rly dont get when others say that him and taemin are same cos girl... theyre not. Completely in a different game. I watch several taemin fancams and i could say he's more similar to jimin than kai - more of femininity than masculinity. Take for example, during superm. Yk their concept is very manly... and you will see how different kai is in superm vs in exo... like very he's very very manly. Eras like his solo debut, you'll see his femine side... idk it entertains me so much... i am just so amazed how fluid he is... his facial expression is soooo goooood like i could watch his fancams all day. He is very graceful yet so powerful... i admire kai so much
@@stafeleez yeah. Yeosang looks like a guy that doesn't have a natural feel for rythm. He worked really hard to get where he is now. The most noticable improvement jump in him was in deja vu. He was like 10x upgraded when it comes to his attitude on stage. His expressions now look more profecional.
@@prrrpa1511 I remember when Jongho said that he practices almost 500 times a day and once he even said that his biggest worry is that he's not able to be as good as he wants to be no matter how much he practices so hearing that there's no effort on his part really hurts.
The thing's he has an innocent aura around him, that's why he used to shine in bright songs in early ATEEZ's career. But gradually he's improved a lot since fireworks specially!! His gaze is fierce and after watching yesterday's cyberpunk performance, I'm officially blown away!
I watched Monsta X live 3 years ago and honestly they deserve to be this high on the ranking, specially Jooheon, my ult bias is Kihyun but I left that concert loving Jooheon, he's just so charismatic and he literally makes you look at him even if you don't want to lol. I 100% agree with Kihyun, he's such a good performer and an incredible singer, can we talk about how he sang and danced a full live concert with a BROKEN RIB???!!! LEGENDS ONLY.*
I'm so proud of Monsta X, especially Hyungwon he's grown so much, from looking at his feet 90% to his Love and Gambler fancams? Insane. Also, Jooheon how is someone the reincarnation of the Joker in Love Killa to the cutest softest in Stand Up? I'll love them forever. I've been looking forward just to seeing their archetypes.
You are so right about Hongjoong. His charisma is off the charts. No one can tell me he’s not one of the best performers of the 4th Gen. For a man so tiny, he takes up and commands the whole stage. He has this cockiness that is so attractive. His playfulness on stage is so unique to him and is his signature. I’ve never seen him slip ever.
Well, the fact that Ateez is here along with three 3rd gen groups, already says a lot. So I have no complaints. Your opinion on Seonghwa's archetype is just so right, he IS unreal. It's crazy.
i had the honor to see kai performing live and oh my god, he is incredible. the way he moves his body and owns the stage is so baffling to me. both his facial expressions and body language are balanced out so perfectly, kai really IS the standard !
Ateez as a group is fascinating. The group consists of members who are so strong, so prominent, that in theory they would be out of balance and not cohesive because of how they’re pulling viewers in all different directions. Heck they don’t even have that signature uniform mechanical dancing Kpop is known for. Yet somehow they work together so well. Their differences gave their performances dimension, and their unique dance styles give their choreography this fluidity that works really well with their pirate concept.
hongjoong is one of the most fun members to watch 😭 he's so quirky and in your face in the perfect way just embodying his rebellion pirate leader character. his smirks, side eyes, eyerolls, walking like he's a drunk captain, sticking his tongue in his cheek while looking into the camera with an eyebrow raise JDHXH HES SO COOLBDH sometimes i watch a full stage fancams and hongjoong's just doing **the most**. his angles are sharper and deeper yet he never loses energy. he's always «on» even if he's not on camera. if san wasn't so attention grabbing, hongjoong would definitely be centre. (plus i love his outfit + hair styling it's the cherry on top always)
He always brings such a fun and smug vibe to the performance! This man knows he's the captain, and when he performs, it's like he's saying, "I know I'm the best, what're you gonna do about it?"
Hongjoong is actually the official centre of the group! He was one of the few members with an official position when debut. But because of their training, every member of ateez would be the centre if they are plucked and put into any other regular group, but in the same group its harder to tell he's the centre. But at debut he has had centre/pseudo centre positions when dancing, and only in recent dances did he end up at the wings more :)
Ateez presence is no joke...it's what drew me towards them.. They know how to change their expression and body language according to the vibe and flow of the song... Going to ateez concert is a must even if you're not atiny you'll be blown away
Even though my ult group are in this video, I’m not that bothered if they get a low ranking simply because I’ve always biased them for personality and vocals, and watching live performances of really any group has never been a priority for me. Thank you though for taking time to do this and posting this video, I hope people can be nice and respectful.
as an exo-l i honesty couldn't care less about their stage presence yk? all i care about is vocals and they're the best vocalists of 3rd gen so i don't care about their stage presence. I watch their stages just to watch them perform as a group.
@@teezeeo.o I’d actually say I prefer EXO’s stages due to the vocals… like I recognise that the other groups here have great stage presence but I’m always knocked out a bit when artists sing live and don’t sound like I expected them to, so EXO’s vocals elevate the experience for me.
@@awaywiththefaeries9464 exactly!!! i remember their live performances like the vocals???? "Kihyun performs with even his hair" why is this so trueeeeee. It immediately made me think of the chorus in the Dramarama choreo when they turn from side to side lol. Also, his overall stamina is insane. He's like the Duracell bunny fr
The good part about Exo's performance is the raw emotion that a live vocal gives. Since your criteria for stage presence don't include that, I see why they rank low. And I think that's super clear when you listen to their live albums. Where you don't see them at all, but you feel the high energy of the live stage just by their voices alone.
That's very true, their music and live vocal performance of it makes them a powerhouse even after all these years. The dancing, visuals and fanservice are a bonus
@@PdPiper-wn2nb but live vocals can contribute to stage presence though. Stage presence dosent just mean dancing and looking good with a myriad of facial expression. Anybody working in the entertainment industry can exude stage presence even if theyre singing standing still
I think this is why I always thought they had good stage presence. Their vocals live are AMAZING!! And there is so much passion in the vocal line that its easy to miss how they aren't cohesive.
so proud seonghwa got ranked so high bc just a few days ago he was worried about not having f enough stamina on stage to give good performances 😭 it's great to see ppl recognising his efforts paying off on stage 🥹🤧
I love the RM appreciation/confusion section cause I also think his stage presence is really hard to pin down haha the only thing i'm sure about is that he's a fascinating performer to watch I also agree that while BTS have different strengths individually, they're incredibly strong together and they're wonderful to watch on stage
Jooheon knows how intense his looks are and doesn’t shy away from performing with all his energy! Literally captivating! Monsta X all around are the standard
Your top 10 is spot on and probably one of the toughest to score from all your rankings. To me, everyone in the top 10 is the standard, but as a Monbebe, seeing Jooheon at #2 just made my day because it's time that people woke up to his exceptional talents. I personally love that he is so intimidating on stage because his presence immediately draws you in. Someone actually put together a thread of the most replayed parts in MX music videos, and it's almost always his parts. Like his charisma is UNREAL. Also, the way that he commands the crowd during concerts is insane (but obviously, this is not part of the criteria, hehe).
I feel the same way. I hate the fact that early on people told him he was to Scary and Rough, that's my favorite thing about him. Even though I like the funny softer side too.
So now I can officially confirm that BangTwice are Kings and Queens of group chemistry ❤️ On a serious note, that somehow explains why they are my favorite girlgroup and boygroup (apart from the good music). In both groups, even the weakest performers are not left behind, you can feel the harmony in their performances, it gives a heart warming feeling whenever I watch them perform, idk it feels very geniune. Also, they having Jihyo and J-Hope as the stage presence standards of their generation is something that I definitely agree ❤️

it's so nice to finally see Monsta X be recognized ❤️🔥 i agree with EVERYTHING you said, like the constant improvement and growth and progression in every area! especially after Wonho left, members like Shownu, Hyungwon, and Minhyuk really tapped into their incredible hidden skills and stage presence! How do they DO IT EVERY SINGLE TIME!??
Ateez has an unofficial demon line and I think they're a problem. Hongjoong, San and Seonghwa are just SO captivating. I've been waiting to see what you think about Seonghwa and oh.. yes we need to talk. He's just unreal that's just how he is.
As an EXO-L it made me so happy when you described Kai's stage presence :)) He's so insanely talented! I'm sure most other people have this experience too, but my eyes gravitate towards him during every performance! Even though Chen is my bias, I definitely agree with your criticism. I feel kind of bad, but I think he's kind of boring to watch a lot of times (definitely not boring to listen to though). Although I wish he'd do a rock album because I think his voice would suit it so much, I really think he shines when performing ballads. I definitely cry watching like half of his performances from his solo work 🤧 When he performs with EXO I think he can get kind of boring ngl. I love watching him during concerts (he seems like he lets go a lot more, especially during fun/cute songs), but I might be a little biased because I think he's adorable lol
I am a huge atiny, but i honestly totally understand why ateez are ranked 3rd for group ranking. It's not that they lack chemistry on stage because it's actually really amazing and i think they rank 1st for overall group chemistry on stage. but if we are to ask ourselves "who in Ateez have really amazing and outstanding stage presence from minute 0 to the end, every performance?" the only truthful answer would be the Demon Line. and that's okay, it's human. honestly, the Demon Line are such a rare breed that i find myself constantly in awe by their consistency. That being said, after the Demon Line there is a noticeable gap in stage presence from them to the rest of the group. so 3rd place made sense. but it can throw off the whole group consistency
@@mochiyeosang1908 True, but again. If you ask the question of consistency from minute 0 to the end, he would still be noticeably below the demon line. He is still great, but his stage presence dipped a little bit right before his hiatus, so it might just be his anxiety or something else mental
I was hoping you'd mention some of San's cutie stages like for Illusion and Eternal Sunshine because that man is just?? The cutest???? The happiest boy?????? And then you see him in Guerrilla lol. I'm convinced he can do any concept, seriously.
One of the things about exo is that most of the members that are on the bottom tier aren't really excepcional dancers, so obviously they aren't really thinking about their facial expressions. I think Chen for example has improved a lot as a dancer after the CBX unit but again, dancing isn't his main focus so he's more worried about hitting the steps than Kai, Xiumin or Lay who feel more natural with heavier choreography
Also I feel Him and the other main vocal tend to reserve their power as she mentioned, he don't give that much when his parts end, Main vocal do try to use less power in dancing(which restrict their facial expressions)so that their vocals are not shaky or they feel breathless
I think they shine more on (I forgot what they call) free style performances. Those that don't require much synchronization, detailed choreo, smthing smthing. It's not that they can't multi-task or do it but for their age and after having indiv activities, I feel like they became more free artists than kpop boy grp/idols (idk how to explain this part. I don't belittle idols but idols and kmusic artists outside idol style just have that different vibes)
@@dagitabliwanag9057 tbh , i actually enjoy their stage more, especially their concerts , for me SP isn't just facial expression and dance , it's connection to the audience(and overall they do it for me compare to other group mentioned) .If you don't enjoy their songs( not your type of song) and you are watching their fancam of those songs , you won't enjoy or like them , but if you feel those songs you automatically get connected, this is what happened to the vid maker . EXO is definitely not a performer group like most of other 4th gen or last 3rd gen groups, that doesn't mean exo members are bad at dancing but they just not performance heavy(storytelling n shit), they are more suited when they feel their song and jumping around (most western don't have choreo , that doesn't mean they don't have SP) SM did use them as money machine , from their rookie era they are working on solo projects, they asked for light song so many times yet they got dark , mysterious concept, they are tired of those tough dude concept tbh , their solos are just refreshing.

By saying stage I mean the music show stages. And I agree so much w the they are not the performer grp like the new gen (maybe bec they are halfway 2nd and 3rd gen.) I feel like they were really forced to that certain concept that it's so obvious they were just trying. While when you see them on concerts doing their things or performing but lesser conscious of the steps their doing, they really nailed it Tbh, SME used them sm (still using them tbh) but they're obviously set aside at the same time :((
@@dagitabliwanag9057 I mean obviously when you are getting much money without doing anything why would they give effort (especially SM) which is why they set them aside, they are ruining EXO for a long time, especially when after exo-m left SM's whole "plan" for EXO messed up(make a China focused group, you know) they just couldn't handle it, they couldn't react quickly rather they throw them aside when they could immediately promote EXO in the west but they thought they have planned group(nct)for western audiences and BTS took that Internet wave opportunity. It just unfortunate for EXO.But I am happy for EXO members, because Individuality is something that most kpop groups lack of while EXO members thriving solo career and enjoy their solo stuff(especially they only put music they like not the trendy music that will make them viral is satisfying)
Ateez stan here, I agree with your ranking in the ateez lineup, personally HongJoong is the best performer amongst them and somehow acts as literally captain in holding the members together, other members have been evolving a lot, waiting for the tour to see their new performances
HONGJOONG ENTHUSIASTS RISE I've been saying it he's one of THE BEST performers out there in the industry rn not enough people talk about it pls put some respect on this man's name.
Finally someone who really see BTS talent!! Like people always call them overrated and untalented and they have just popularity and they always attack us when we praise them but the fact that they are so talented and one of the most all rounded Kpop groups ever, very strong rapline, very strong danceline, very strong stage presence and self- producers but people just like to bring up vocals to downgrade their talent all what they know is just vocal, vocal, vocal and they didn't see the other talented sides about them, yes their vocals are not really that good but it's not bad at all as some people make them look still weak to average but they still one of the most talented groups who made history in Kpop. Big respect to them 💜
Wooyoung being one place lower than Jimin is probably the best thing you could have ever done for him. He is SUCH a Jimin fanboy. I'm so happy that I WAS RIGHT FOR SEONGHWA. HE IS SO VERSATILE HE SWITCHES SO WELL. "I can handle criticism... But not for Hongjoong" girl... same. I've said SO much that he's probably one of the most perfect idol when it comes to stage presence. He is 100% the best in Ateez because everything he does is... on point.... I also know that he loves the fact that we are SO protective over him because he's the same over us. This jealous little captain is my weakness. Overall, I do not agree with everything (which is normal, different people have different opinions) but everything is very well explained. Love the harsh truth as well, EXO-L always say that are so strong as a group and ... no... Well.... Singing-wise, YES, they are. Everything else ... No. EXO's concepts do NOT suit most of them at all. Little question, for Lay, did you watch mostly fancams while in EXO ? Did you watch some of his chinese releases ? I feel like he is so much better with his music and his choreographies rather than in EXO.
Im here for the EXO slander (I'm an EXOL), what she said are all true. There's a reason Kai's always the one noticed by new/non-fans in their stage performances. The "only shows facial expressions when their part comes" is so true too (I've tried watching other members in a member fancam)
@@almilall well, he's just that good so it's kinda reasonable not to notice. It wasn't this bad when they were still rising rookies though. It matters not to me anyways since I enjoy listening to their songs.
Things that surprised me : 1. The absolute merciless roasting of exo's sp in the group ranking. Sheesh, didn't see it coming a bit. But yo..props to you for being brutally honest and vocal abt your opinions:) 2. Seeing you visibly struggle during rm's part coz apparently my man's stage presence is THAT COMPLICATED that even our stage presence expert is finding it difficult to pin down his archetype and elaborate. "So namjoon officially becomes the first person who doesn't have an archetype"..I dunno why I find this sh*t so funny, sorry xD. Jokes aside, he deserves more recognition for his unique and interesting stage sp! #sleeponbedsnotonjoon 3. A new discovery: my bias jin, being a feminine overt performer. I kinda thought that he would be the masculine covert type? 4. Taehyung literally being placed at 17 at individual ranking. LET THAT SINK IN ~ 5 . Cheryl being super relatable with all that fangirling over kai and plus not to forget that description (I spit out my drink, lmao)! We can totally feel you gurl🙂🤚 Things that I liked : 1. Someone actually saying it out loud that MONSTAX are some of the finest 3th gen perfomers out there. Istg, for some reason I've never seen the kpop community giving these boys enough credit and instead just neglect their whole existence sksksjsjsjs 3. The VERY MUCH NEEDED JHOPE APPRECIATION. This man is a literal born performer who keeps redefining standards when it comes to stage presence in the industry. Don't even try to argue, coz it's all FAX and even cheryl agrees with me😌 4. Xiumin's improvement over the years! Can't put it in words how grateful I am to you for talking about it coz literally nobody seems to acknowledge it! Even more strengthens the fact that the man is pretty overlooked in all aspects :( 3. A no less than an ocean of praises for ateez throughout the vid💅. Like plz, they deserve every bit of it and I am so proud of them! Literally the stage presence monsters of 4th gen..who never fails to make you go gaga over their performance abilities, passion and energy on stage 3. The kings (BTS) taking the crown for group sp as they should. "They just make it seem so fun", "Its insane", "Haven't seen a single boring performance from them". Couldn't agree more✨ 4. Overall loved the candid and chill presentation done this time without having to take the pressure to follow a script and speak in a thorough professional manner. Genuinely had sm fun cheryl. Ty tor your efforts as this was a long awaited vid topic and I can understand how much time you could've invested in this. Very much appreciated❤
Ateez are freaking beast! they're still a relative new group, but 3 out of the 8 members are ranked in the top 5 against groups with more experience and some of the biggest groups in Kpop.
i totally understand gatekeeping hongjoong bc lets bfr you and every atiny. hongjoong is so amazing i do not take criticism if you criticise him i might cry idk he's so perfect
@yellow Aw man...I feel real bad for ya someone who doesn’t notice true talent and passion for performing Let me guess your favs probably do lip bites every 3 seconds or sweep their hair back here and there and you think that’s the best thing in the world? ATEEZ tell a story with their expressions and movements. Open your eyes! I will go off THANXX
@yellow this is simply your opinion that is all I can say. In my case I’ve seen many nonfans, top choreographers, news articles etc point out the fact that they are great dancers who bring more effort to their performance. Clearly you see dance as just looking handsome but it goes deeper than that they just have a feel for music which not much idols have.
@yellow Interesting. ATEEZ ran into BTS backstage after they covered they're sunbaes' songs (including Blood, Sweat, and Tears) for MAMA 2019, and BTS complimented them on their performance. I guess you have different taste than your favs.
Yeosang is my ult of ults and I can confidently say that his hypnotizing aura and piercing stare definitely makes me forget his lack of stage presence. I will say though he has been improving since Inception era!
OMG! I literally dropped everything just to watch this video. I was not ready for ATeez and Monstax to be rank 3 and 2 respectively. Mam the turbulence of emotions I felt during this was literally a rollercoaster ride. Thank you for making this. Your hardwork and dedication also shined through this video. I was not ready for the plotwist regarding some of the individual rankings. Especially Seonghwha. KQ has some secret network that probably helped them scout through this hahaha. Aside from all of this. Thank you once again for making me feel hype and joy once again. I hope things get better for you. And many blessings come your way
I agree with most of it except V. I think the thing with V is that because he is so good looking, people tend to attribute everything he does to his looks. When he performs well they say it’s because of his looks, when his fancam views are high, it’s because of his looks, breaks records with is song and of course it’s because of his looks. People forget that he is actually good. And speaking about versatility, he actually is a very versatile performer, like he can perform one song 20 times and each time he is giving something different that makes the whole performance look and sound new. He is very engaging so it genuinely confuses me when people say otherwise
I was so shocked when I saw the rank he got.17 like wtf . V is the king of facial expression that so many 4th generation group watch his fan cam just to master his expression.that guy is on a whole next level if you ask me .I was so disappointed
@@sylviasomto2357 exactly! I just hate how his talents are never recognized just because he is handsome. People need to realize it’s not about being handsome it’s about how you use the pretty face you’ve been blessed with and I think that is where he excels. Yes he is very good looking but he does not depend on that face to do all the work for him, he actually has a personality, an unexplainable aura that light up the stage, knows how to engage people both on and off stage, has a very distinct vocal tone that sets him apart from others and lastly, he knows just the right amount of energy to put in when on stage that doesn’t feel too much or too little, he has control of the stage which is also part of being a good performer
Maybe because each time he lip bites, smirks and uses his tongue different. And aura has very well much to do with how you look. If you compare his dancing you’ll notice quickly that it isn’t as good as the other lead dancers of BTS. And fans always talk about his expressions because that’s probably the best thing for them in his performances…..or most memorable thing.
@@DD-fh6uj I hear you but having stage presence is not all about being the best singer or dancer and you mentioned he’s not that good compared to the other lead dancers but that’s the point, that’s why they are the “lead dancers.” Having stage presence is more than dancing the best. Haven’t you seen idols that dance and sing so well yet when you watch them you’re bored? That’s because they are not engaging, they don’t have an aura about them, they don’t know how to get fans excited etc. I’m by no means saying he is the best in Koop or even BTS but he sure as hell isn’t repetitive or depending on his looks like she stated in the video
@@Farasong2328 I would’ve ranked him higher than Namjoon but other than that I think his ranking is justified keeping in mind that there are many great performers
so happy seeing mx so high in overall group stage presence bcs i'm telling y'all that none of those men are LACKING! seeing jooheon as rank 2 in individual rankings made me so proud TT idk what the hell jooheon is on but i swear even since pre-debut that man demands SO much attention when he's in the room, like there is absolutely no way you can ignore his presence. just watch his solo stages from mama and aaa 2018, literally just less than a minute of performances from each but filled with so much confidence and attitude. thank you so much for this video, i really appreciate the insight you've shared with us all regarding these four amazing groups!
I loved your explanation for all of the top 10s. Especially your rants about the top 5 on how amazing and spectacular they are at their stage presence. Like my girl dropped all formalities and gave in to her inner fangirl, swooning over these perfect men. This video was veryyy enjoyable and definitely worth the wait. I know you went through a lot to make this for us cheryl. Thank you so much I loved it!
I saw Monsta X in May 2022. They were amazing. Seeing them live was exhaustingly perfect. I am seeing Ateez in November 2022 and I am beyond excited. I can't even cope. I want to see Kai one day. 😳🤘
what you said about BTS's group presence stands so true cuz I've seen the backstage efforts and how minute they are about the details and bringing the synergy. It's so true cuz it's like okay they got 7 talents at their hands that can be improved of course but together they complement each other so well and bring out the stage every time with a better more fire energy that it would be unfair to overlook the effort. Also the fact that when one of the members is missing they leave a space to communicate that the stage is lacking one presence it's like saying each one brings some his flair to the performance. There are incredible artists out there but genuinely with some of the live performances of BTS vs when I see others it just clearly stands out how much the energy is different and why they became the industry standard.
EXO my #1 kpop favorite..Monsta X 2nd. Id have given a lot to see EXO in concert because of their total stage presence, but i dont dissect performance as much as you..but thats ok. I went to a Monsta X concert this year and it was fantastic..love them! I really like Ateez..most of their songs i love and they are great performers. My first kpop group to discover was BTS..and i really liked them, but they led me to more mature groups that i like more. All these groups are terrific and luckily there is something for everyone. I agree with your assessment of Kai and Joohoney...love them both! Only Taemin is as awesome to me as Kai!
Well as an exol I was unexpectedly happy to hear you roasting their group SP. I partially agree (partially because some of their concert stages are one of the reasons why I'm still alive but I'm not sure if it's due their stage presence or my genuine love to all of them) Stay healthy, Cheryl Love you so much Omg so many likes love you all😭💔 Side note: I thing that exo-cbx kinda showed the potential of baekhyun as a charismatic performer even before his solo career had started. I'm not the biggest fan of their songs, but the way they three performed those impressed me
Real real. I'm not really bothered tho. I honestly agree with all of that except for maybe I'll rank Suho higher than Sehun bcoz he gives more effort on performing. Suho just sometimes have this off expression on music show stages (he doesn't do it much on concert tho like pls his Been Through perf for me looks natural.)
@@dagitabliwanag9057 lmao I kind of feel the same way with suho. Like no offense to him, but he looks like a total dork like half the time. i totally agree with everything you said about hongjoong! his stage presence is perfection and i refuse to accept any other opinion. he’s so playful yet powerful onstage, in all the best ways. and somehow he just keeps getting better and finding new ways to wow me. absolutely incredible.
I am so used to see V so high in sp list, that actually my jaw drop, but yes I got your point, but and the same time he is mesmerizing to watch is sensual performances, like singularity, he so attractive to watch
I completely understand your hongjoong predicament! I feel the same way towards San. San is my ULT ULT but I think you ranked him fairly. I have just never seen an idol perform like he does and am mesmerized by how passionate he is. He seems like a completely different person on and off stage, and he is confident enough in himself to be able to pull off what he does. I'll be happy knowing you ranked him the same as j-hope, who is an industry giant. I never noticed it before, but I completely agree with what you said about taehyung. He is just so good to look at that no matter what, i'll enjoy what he's doing lol.
i can agree that exo as a group doesn’t have that great of sp, but i don’t think their performances are boring. the thing that makes their performances enjoyable is their raw talent. that’s why i enjoy watching them, they lack sp but they still have something to bring to the table. (however the other groups in this video are bringing both talent and sp to the table….soo lol) also, some stages it comes off to me like “this is too easy, give me something challenging” or like “we can do this in our sleep” and i enjoy that cocky attitude lol. great video once again ❤
Ikr! There is a reason why they are always called world class performers on media and they hold the record of the fastest sold out concert in the world, that would definitely not happen if they were boring😂
As an Atiny, I can understand when you said 2 members in Ateez. Personally I thought about Yeo and Jongho. Jongho, we know he have to save his energy to sing his highnote. Yeo, its not he is a bad dancer. But we can see his persona are different from other members. But for me, every era we can actually see his improvement.
Excuse me while I run for my life 💀

kai communicates so much with his eyes, that's what always shocks me. he doesn't need to 'practice' his expressions as I've noticed some idols do, but just feel the music move through him, and he exudes whatever the song's meaning is with his whole body and expressions. indeed the king!
He always give us these "I know what I do to you" looks. Istg, man 😩
“He can be over-the-top and still not look weird.”
So accurate. Kai is on a whole new level. I had to make a seperate comment for Kai because sorry not sorry, Kai is literally the one who saves EXO's stage presence. He looks so passionate and he just feels himself. He's literally undescribable.

KAI DANCING THE EVE IS THE LITERAL EMBODIMENT OF PRESENCE THAT MAN IS NOT HUMAN I’M TELLING YOU. 😭😭😭😭
I would literally get on my knees and bark for him
Also I feel like ppl need to know ppl usually hate on san by saying he’s frightening or some shit (always hala hala) but if u look at the whole concept and lyrics to the song.
@@LaurenPebble please leave him for us. We love him that way. 🤗
Jin is my ult, for many reasons, but I agree in almost all that you said, he hardworking, he tries his best since debut, and think he does what is necessary in the performance but naturally he shines so much more in emotional songs, and he breaks my heart and makes me feel everything in songs like the True untold, epiphany, spring day, butterfly, etc, he just so special for me
Anyways, thank you for your hard work, is so difficult to talk about stage presence without being biased
Jin expresses emotions that it makes me cry. He’s so natural and good at it. I love his performance of spring day, that put tears in my eyes 😭❤️👏🏼
Jin biased here and I have to admit I never watch his fan cams. Cheryl nails it, you can sort of tell that he concentrates too much on the choreo. But gosh when that man sings it’s like the emotions are physically tangible.

Seonghwa's charisma and facial expressions were fantastic, San's energy and body language were out of this world and omg Hongjoong really carried the concert, what a king!
Right!
What's Jhope rank in this video.??

Suga did so good in run bts and I have seen him in real life at concert he is most charismatic and knows how to hype the crowd more than anyone girrrrrl
Monsta X archetypes make so much sense. If you think about some of the pairings within the group, and then look at the archetypes, it's so obvious why they work so well together:
- Minhyuk and Hyungwon - how they usually have back-to-back verses, because one is overt + charismatic, and the other is covert + sensual. Plus they sometimes get paired for choreo like in Shoot Out or for a MV scene like in All In. Their energies just balance each-other so well
- Same when you think about Jooheon and I.M as a main and lead rapper - again you have the covert / overt dynamic to create one of the best raplines in kpop
- Then when you think of the main vocal / main rapper dynamic - Kihyun (charismatic) and Jooheon (dominant). Both are overt and both are masters of their styles. So it means that there is never a boring part of the performance. There is absolutely no way you are zoning out during one of Jooheon's raps or while Kihyun is literally doing jumping jacks and singing at the top of his lungs. Also, their 2Chain subunit speaks for itself tbh
- And last but not least you have Shownu and Wonho - who once again were so compatible (and no wonder people often bias them together).
Why is this the best description I’ve ever heard of Monsta X or a Korean group in general 😭
Jongho stares deep into your soul
If looks could kill he'd have a lot of kill count
During every wonderland and guerrilla stage he looks like he wants to eat you alive lmao
Preach !
even if your not watching a fancam you notice lol
I'm Ateez demon-line biased - but if you ask any great performer who debuted in the last few years (including San, Seonghwa and Hongjoong) who the best is - they'll say Kai.
And for being small companies, KQ and Starship sure are great at getting talent!
I am San, Hongjoong and Kai biased. Seonghwa is one of my bias wreckers! I have a thing for stage demons lol!
SAME BUT ALSO WOOYOUNG
@@mochiyeosang1908 👋🏾 I’ve seen you in comment sections defending ATEEZ! Keep fighting! ATEEZ has been getting a lot of unnecessary hate lately. Are you Jimin/Yeosang biased?
@@thedreadpirateroberts same :)

Exo is first and foremost a vocal group, i think most of them especially the vocal line conserve energy to deliver their best vocally. Also kai is such a standout performer that they're prolly used to having him as the 'crutch' in performances. Which is why they were kinda oh shit when he couldnt join the cream soda promos and the rest had to work harder to step up their game, and we saw a sudden, noticeable improvement in their dancing overall lol
SM really knows what they're doing when they keep putting kai front and center since debut.
Someone’s finally going to talk about HJ’s presence in a comprehensive way (more than just Ateez good- demon line good- HJ good)
AND THEN YOU NEVER SPOKE ABOUT HIM!!!! I felt like a puppy waiting for a bone😂 I do completely understand why you didn’t tho…like you said a little childish BUT COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE 🤍🤍🤍
Yess...me too I love Hongjoong facial expression, very charismatic and his stage presence soo🔥.
I'm a new Atiny and this was the first time among k-pop groups that I could recognize the group leader from first glance, from the first MVs I watched. Hongjoong just screamed LEADER and he's so clearly the "captain", I was intrigued to say the least 😳😳
Hongjong was ranked 3rd so what do you mean?
@@me7586 I’m not talking about this video… she never spoke about him in her previous videos (she even admits it in this video and says why)
@@sp00ky-crow He honestly has very much Captain vibes wheb he's performing. He knows that he runs the show, and his expressions and body language totally translate to me as "I know I'm the best, what're you gonna do 'bout it?"
finally someone else noticing joon’s unique stage presence 😭 i realized while watching bts’ performances how interesting he was, actually the way he performs is very captivating but that was the only way i could describe it. i never saw anyone else talk about it.
OMG YES! some BTS members individually may not be as good as others but as a group they are unbeatable, they always slay no matter what concept, I think their teamwork, passion, love for their work and their bond does the job!
I'm not Army, but they have better synergy than anyone.
Actually like 7 of them has great stage presence but for example jin individually shine in ballads
The rap line is great , the rest are great too so idk they are unbeatable to me
I often hear the word 'synergy' and while I know the technical meaning, the word means nothing to me until... BTS.
Their synergy on stage and off stage is incomparable and watching it makes me have fluffy feelings.
Are you see Jhope in Lollapalooza??
@@anilsarosales1749 Of course I did, I'm watching it from time to time because watching Hobi perform is just pure joy and pleasure, he's an amazing performer
I went to an ateez concert and they are so good. Because i knew they have great stage precence but that concert is really prooved me. Their energy is out of this world
The most accurate take about kai. He is very graceful yet so powerful... i admire kai so much
To comment on Yeosang’s facial expressions I feel like he’s really improve in their recent guerrilla performance promotions a lot!
He slayed Sector 1.
I feel like he has really appropriate facial expressions now. Not as good as the other Ateez members but still good.
Jooheon definitely should try acting
@@jurionmx if only sse would let him 😣
@Fariha Jooheon, coming to Netflix soon! So, turns out SSE did let him afterall. Miracles do happen.
People will say he’s not because they don’t Stan Ateez/don’t like their music. Everyone is entitled to their opinions even if I feel they are wrong. 💀
Their differences gave their performances dimension, and their unique dance styles give their choreography this fluidity that works really well with their pirate concept.
hongjoong is one of the most fun members to watch 😭
he's so quirky and in your face in the perfect way just embodying his rebellion pirate leader character.
his smirks, side eyes, eyerolls, walking like he's a drunk captain, sticking his tongue in his cheek while looking into the camera with an eyebrow raise JDHXH HES SO COOLBDH
sometimes i watch a full stage fancams and hongjoong's just doing **the most**. his angles are sharper and deeper yet he never loses energy. he's always «on» even if he's not on camera.
if san wasn't so attention grabbing, hongjoong would definitely be centre.
The power you hold. I clicked the Like button even before watching. It doesn’t matter if we don’t agree in our opinions.
Me too! Lol
Girl SAME--- I be anticipating her videos more than some Kpop comebacks...😭😭
Exactly on point
@@awaywiththefaeries9464 exactly!!! i remember their live performances like the vocals???? I've noticed that SM groups don't have outstanding stage presence but they do have outstanding vocals which makes their live performances even better and it's the exact opposite with other groups like they have outstanding stage presence but their vocals don't do it for me.
@@teezeeo.o I’ve been editing together an Exo discography ranking and when I got to Paper Cuts I didn’t even bother with a studio version just added the live performance it’s so good
SLAYYYY ATEEZ BEING THE ONLY 4TH GEN HERE WITH THE MOST ICONIC AND POWERFUL 3RD GEN GROUPS SPEAKS VOLUME 😍IM SO READY FOR THIS. will be listening to this while i do my notes
one thing i learned from this vid is that hongjoong wasn't kidding when he said "all eyes on me now" 😭 like that man will make sure EVERYONE's eyes are on him when he's performing
This I agree
That's very true, their music and live vocal performance of it makes them a powerhouse even after all these years. The dancing, visuals and fanservice are a bonus
I mean, stage presence is about watching someone, not listening to them, so it makes sense it is not included in the criteria.
And there is so much passion in the vocal line that its easy to miss how they aren't cohesive.
so proud seonghwa got ranked so high bc just a few days ago he was worried about not having f enough stamina on stage to give good performances 😭
it's great to see ppl recognising his efforts paying off on stage 🥹🤧
I love the RM appreciation/confusion section
cause I also think his stage presence is really hard to pin down haha
the only thing i'm sure about is that he's a fascinating performer to watch
I also agree that while BTS have different strengths individually, they're incredibly strong together and they're wonderful to watch on stage
Even though I like the funny softer side too.
same here ❤ its funny how people think the artists are what they show while performing.
So now I can officially confirm that BangTwice are Kings and Queens of group chemistry ❤️
On a serious note, that somehow explains why they are my favorite girlgroup and boygroup (apart from the good music).
I agree too. I love Twice's chemistry too

I’ve been their fan for years and i don’t know how they come up with fresh concepts everytime and i have never been disappointed by them.
Truly they’re the best performers in kpop with the best stage presence
I urge some of y'all, including "armys", to watch j-hope's fancams if you do not get the hype or see his talent, BECAUSE IT SURE AS HELL IS THERE. I'm tired of pple discrediting him
it's so nice to finally see Monsta X be recognized ❤️🔥 i agree with EVERYTHING you said, like the constant improvement and growth and progression in every area! especially after Wonho left, members like Shownu, Hyungwon, and Minhyuk really tapped into their incredible hidden skills and stage presence!
How do they DO IT EVERY SINGLE TIME!??
Honestly also the fact the members produce music that let all the members show off their talents
Very happy to see Xiumin appreciation!! The Eve was the performance that made me bias him and I also hope he explores that sensual concept more
I am a huge atiny, but i honestly totally understand why ateez are ranked 3rd for group ranking. That being said, after the Demon Line there is a noticeable gap in stage presence from them to the rest of the group. so 3rd place made sense. but it can throw off the whole group consistency
mingi should be included here tbh. his stage presence is far above average.
@@mochiyeosang1908 True, but again. If you ask the question of consistency from minute 0 to the end, he would still be noticeably below the demon line. He is still great, but his stage presence dipped a little bit right before his hiatus, so it might just be his anxiety or something else mental
"I don't know what to do with Seonghwa" me neither
"Is he real?" We all wonder 😭
On actual God, he's just....... I can't
I was hoping you'd mention some of San's cutie stages like for Illusion and Eternal Sunshine because that man is just?? The cutest???? The happiest boy?????? And then you see him in Guerrilla lol. I'm convinced he can do any concept, seriously.
i remember one commenter saying on ateez "ateez aren't idols who dance. they're professional dancers who've been turned idols"
Point blank period

@@SadiaIslamShouki actually we have the same tots I'm just bad at explaining things spontaneously, sorry. You explained what I intend to say better huhuhuhu. By saying stage I mean the music show stages. And I agree so much w the they are not the performer grp like the new gen (maybe bec they are halfway 2nd and 3rd gen.)
I feel like they were really forced to that certain concept that it's so obvious they were just trying. While when you see them on concerts doing their things or performing but lesser conscious of the steps their doing, they really nailed it
Tbh, SME used them sm (still using them tbh) but they're obviously set aside at the same time :((
@@dagitabliwanag9057 I mean obviously when you are getting much money without doing anything why would they give effort (especially SM) which is why they set them aside, they are ruining EXO for a long time, especially when after exo-m left SM's whole "plan" for EXO messed up(make a China focused group, you know) they just couldn't handle it, they couldn't react quickly rather they throw them aside when they could immediately promote EXO in the west but they thought they have planned group(nct)for western audiences and BTS took that Internet wave opportunity.
Right!! Hoonjoong is awesome.
Big respect to them 💜
Hongjoong's eyebrow raise in the Aurora line "ooh yeah nae haneuri" is literally EVERYTHING to me
THIS And also the main point of the choreo with the fingers and head tilt 😍😍
I feel like he is so much better with his music and his choreographies rather than in EXO.
i kid u not but the fact that it says “please don’t kill me i value my life” is killing me💀
I was finding a comment like this cuz dude same LMFAO
Ateez are not my ults, but I’ve always loved Hongjoon’s stage presence. He actually made me want to check out ateez as a whole.
Im here for the EXO slander (I'm an EXOL), what she said are all true. There's a reason Kai's always the one noticed by new/non-fans in their stage performances. The "only shows facial expressions when their part comes" is so true too (I've tried watching other members in a member fancam)
never noticed exo is that bad in sp bcs i always watch only kai
@@almilall well, he's just that good so it's kinda reasonable not to notice. It wasn't this bad when they were still rising rookies though. It matters not to me anyways since I enjoy listening to their songs.
Things that surprised me :
1. The absolute merciless roasting of exo's sp in the group ranking. Sheesh, didn't see it coming a bit. But yo..props to you for being brutally honest and vocal abt your opinions:)
#sleeponbedsnotonjoon
3. A new discovery: my bias jin, being a feminine overt performer. I kinda thought that he would be the masculine covert type?
4. Taehyung literally being placed at 17 at individual ranking. LET THAT SINK IN ~
5 . Cheryl being super relatable with all that fangirling over kai and plus not to forget that description (I spit out my drink, lmao)! We can totally feel you gurl🙂🤚
Things that I liked :
1. Someone actually saying it out loud that MONSTAX are some of the finest 3th gen perfomers out there. Istg, for some reason I've never seen the kpop community giving these boys enough credit and instead just neglect their whole existence sksksjsjsjs
3. The VERY MUCH NEEDED JHOPE APPRECIATION. This man is a literal born performer who keeps redefining standards when it comes to stage presence in the industry. Don't even try to argue, coz it's all FAX and even cheryl agrees with me😌
4. Xiumin's improvement over the years! Can't put it in words how grateful I am to you for talking about it coz literally nobody seems to acknowledge it! Even more strengthens the fact that the man is pretty overlooked in all aspects :(
3. A no less than an ocean of praises for ateez throughout the vid💅. Like plz, they deserve every bit of it and I am so proud of them! Literally the stage presence monsters of 4th gen..who never fails to make you go gaga over their performance abilities, passion and energy on stage
3. The kings (BTS) taking the crown for group sp as they should. "They just make it seem so fun", "Its insane", "Haven't seen a single boring performance from them". Couldn't agree more✨
THE HONGJOONG SECTION TOOK ME OUT LMAO BECAUSE ITS SO TRUE LIKE ?? HE HAS NO FLAWS
Ateez are freaking beast! they're still a relative new group, but 3 out of the 8 members are ranked in the top 5 against groups with more experience and some of the biggest groups in Kpop.
"I didn't put BTS number 1 because I'm scared of army, I don't give two shits about army they hate me anyway."
There you go queen.
i totally understand gatekeeping hongjoong bc lets bfr you and every atiny. hongjoong is so amazing i do not take criticism if you criticise him i might cry idk he's so perfect
Your rant about how perfect Hongjoong is literally me every time I see him
ATEEZ is the definition of stage presence
@yellow Aw man...I feel real bad for ya someone who doesn’t notice true talent and passion for performing
Let me guess your favs probably do lip bites every 3 seconds or sweep their hair back here and there and you think that’s the best thing in the world?
I will say though he has been improving since Inception era!
as a bangteez ult this video rlly put the brightest smile on my face looolll😭 i was fully screaming & clapping along every time you praise them😩
now I understand why I fell in love with monsta x and ateez
Mingi’s deja vu fancam literally convinced me to check ateez out. That man is so good looking for what 🤭 like that fancam took me out
I haven’t watched it all yet..but I am just so happy that you put ATEEZ with those legendary groups! Thank you!
I saw Monsta X in May 2022. They were amazing. Seeing them live was exhaustingly perfect. I am seeing Ateez in November 2022 and I am beyond excited. I can't even cope.
I want to see Kai one day. 😳🤘
"Jooheon is the standard" YES. YOU HAVE MY LIKE, MY LOVE, AND MY AXE 💖
Hongjoong during wave era will forever be my favorite
what you said about BTS's group presence stands so true cuz I've seen the backstage efforts and how minute they are about the details and bringing the synergy.
D.O’s stone face created a LOT of memes 😂😂
Well as an exol I was unexpectedly happy to hear you roasting their group SP. I partially agree (partially because some of their concert stages are one of the reasons why I'm still alive but I'm not sure if it's due their stage presence or my genuine love to all of them)
Stay healthy, Cheryl
Love you so much
Omg so many likes love you all😭💔
Side note: I thing that exo-cbx kinda showed the potential of baekhyun as a charismatic performer even before his solo career had started.
I cannot take him seriously when he does sensual/dark concepts. I actually kind of wish he did more quirky concepts, because I think it would suit his dorky side!!
@@zhengtingz5711 omygash opposite to mineeee. I like him better on serious mode wo trying so hard. huhuhu sorry this is Suho, my UB guy, slander hahaha but you know when you're trying to be funny that comes out not funny anymore. That's the feeling I get when he's doing it. But nonetheless he's cute hahaha wanna pinch his cheeks lol
Others complaining why xiumin is rank high in EXO makes me so sad. He was so overlooked and underappreciated. He deserves so much :
Before I finish the video, I just want to give a round of applause for all that it took for you to make these and I just hope that you know that your work is appreciated.
i totally agree with everything you said about hongjoong! his stage presence is perfection and i refuse to accept any other opinion. he’s so playful yet powerful onstage, in all the best ways. and somehow he just keeps getting better and finding new ways to wow me. absolutely incredible.
