Good detailed video. I changed my contactor in late May. My compressor would come on, quit, come on , quit several times before it would run. Changing the contactor cleared that up. I have a Bryant, 3 ton, R 22 system that's about 16 years old.
I’m always amazed about how little people know about things they depend on. I can repair the contactor but I actually keep a spare. Also a spare capacitor. I’m thinking about buying an extra condenser fan.

Good video. To bad in this video we couldn’t hear the sound, if any made by a failing contractor.
All you had to do was crimp some spade connectors onto your wires and plugged them in, easier than retrofitting screws from the old contractor.
I agree, that's a great option for anyone watching that has some spade connectors on hand.
