You look so beautiful in lipstick! I personally LOVE a bright lip & use it to jazz up my look often. You don’t see bold lips enough as far as I’m concerned. Just wanted to let you know you are beautiful & I love your content. It has helped my hugely to define my personal style & I get great joy watching your videos ❤️
It’s easy to see why you have so many positive comments on this episode! It’s like an entire wardrobe workshop in one fell swoop. So much good info packed into this one....keep emphasizing the need to go back to the core pieces because I’m finally beginning to see why😊
I recently decluttered all of the clothes that no longer fit (my body, my style, or my lifestyle), and I am left with very little -- 3 dresses, 2 skirts (one of which is not work-appropriate), 3 cardigans (only 2 are work appropriate), and 14 tops (a mix of tees, pullovers, and sweaters). I want to add a skirt, a pair of trousers, and a few button-up shirts (for that collar flip!), and this will help me as I research and consider what to add when the time comes to purchase.
You’re amazingly knowledgeable in the sense that you ARE the missing link in building a better wardrobe. Your style WISDOM surpasses - by leaps and bounds, all the other RUclipsrs that just skim the surface and NEVER elaborate on the details of building capsules. I also adore how you encourage personalization of each wardrobe or each piece for each person. Hardly anyone shares the EXACT same style esthetic! Go YOU! Many thanks 🙏🏽☺️
Love this Myra! This makes me super happy to hear as it's exactly what I'm trying to do, dig down further into the details. Thanks so much for your comment!!
First time viewer & it’s so nice to see someone giving advice who has a great hairstyle. I look at several utubers in their 40s & 50s who have long long straight hair like a teenager & it’s a little difficult to think they know what they’re talking about! Anyway, enjoyed your comments.
I so agree JoAnn. Too many 40pluses trying to look like their teenage daughters with super tight clothing. I say rock your body shape but very piece doesn’t need to fit like skin . It looks uncomfortable or like an outfit styled to sell a product.
I just found your channel and it could not have happened at a better time. After a substantial loss of weight (88 lbs) I am reorganizing my wardrobe. What I realized is that it was full of items that fit but that I did not love. I’m trying to find my style as I rebuild my wardrobe with pieces that make me feel fantastic. And most importantly, I want a wardrobe that allows me flexibility and choices. Not what a had for many years; a wardrobe full of clothes but nothing to wear. Thank you for your concise, informative and visually pleasing videos.
Congratulations Cristina! I bet you feel amazing! And love that you're on the path to creating a wardrobe that adds to that. Good luck with it all and let me know if you have any questions. :-)
First, love your intro. Second, I'd love to see what's on your wish list. And also, a video on your standards!! I'd love it if you could expand on that a bit
Just started watching you and I love it. I am 58 love style and am still getting to grips with mine. I moved to Portugal from Scotland 4 years ago, but my kids are still there, so my wardrobe goes from summer( really hot), to chilly in Scotland when I go visit. Before the pandemic I worked part time in a friends boutique and found myself drawn to her romantic flouncy style and bought a fair bit , now no longer working I have realised my style is def not like that, so I have a big declutter on my hands. This video in particular has helped me see that. Thankyou
I am so glad to hear that it's helped! It's hard when working in a certain aesthetic, because it pulls you in, even if it's not right for you. I've fallen prey to that many times. Thank you for sharing with us!!
I've been binge watching your videos and they are so helpful! I've been updating my wardrobe for over a year now and made a lot of progress, but I had a lingering sense that something was off. Your breakdown of the core group and the elevated group really clicked for me. Also your aesthetic and vibe is so needed on RUclips. So thank you for putting yourself out there and making videos!!!
Ahhh thank you so much! That is so lovely to hear. Good luck in your journey with your wardrobe and let me know if you have any questions along the way.
Ok first this is Karla (not Dave) 😊for some reason my phone reverts to my husband’s name. I have watched tons of videos on how to build a core wardrobe, yours is the first one to make is so concise and clear! Thank you! I just discovered you this morning and immediately subscribed. Even tho I’m about to be 64 I want to stay current and look the best I can so thank you. By the way you are absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you Karla! Such a lovely message to get in the morning. I'm so happy you found me and so glad you found the video concise as that is what I really strive for. 64 and fabulous I'm sure! On my channel I strive to make ageless content because I believe no matter the age you should feel good in your style. Thanks for sharing with me Karla!!
I have bold prints and colors as anchors in my wardrobe! My core pieces that I work around are colorful cotton wrap skirts with elephant and peacock prints. The shirts that I pair with them are colors like cream, mustard yellow, and olive green that pair with all the bottoms that I have. Having said this, I'm really picky about the colors that I use in my wardrobe. They're all warm earth tones.
Love that! So great to hear from someone with the boldness in their anchor pieces. I love elephant and peacock prints, so beautiful. And all those colors sound so yummy to pair with it. Rock on you!! Thank you for sharing!!
That was just fantastic and will be a reference for me. Best stylist out there! I am learning so much from you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills
Hahah, so related with the "feminine"/sophisticated vibe mixed with a more edgy/boyish vibe...! My face and body have an androgynous look, and I've learned that a mix of yin and yang pieces are my thing ✨👌🏻 Thanks for the tips! ❤️
After decades in scrubs or lab coats, it's exciting to get dressed everyday. Even if there is nothing on my agenda for the day, it just feels great and motivating to know I look good.
Hello Emily, These last videos make a great trio, thank you! With your method, building a wardrobe sounds almost easy! I want to try it to help me declutter, especially when it comes to those items that remain almost unworn year after year even if I really like them. Your videos also help me resist sales shopping, and that's a big thing! Inner dialogue: "Oh, look at that grey coat! Oh, yes, it is beautiful. And on sale. Yes. And they have my size! Let's try it! So? Oh, it really looks good. It sure does. Except maybe this detail. Oh, it's just a detail. Yes, but still... But it looks more stylish than my black one. Yes it does. But still, that detail... And by the way, it reaaly looks like your black one. Yes, yes, that's true; but better. Yes, but until now, you've loved your black one. Yes... And didn't you say that all you needed to add was a long coat? This one isn't long. Yes... That's right... OK, let's move on...Good-bye, grey coat!". By the way, your hair and your red lips, waow, you really look great! Could you please make a make-up video?
Haha I love that, the inner dialogue sounds very familiar to mine :-) Glad the video was helpful for you Bouchra! And thank you for the nice compliments! I am actually going to be doing another make up video here soon, so stay tuned!
I've watched quite a few videos similar to this one, but the way you structured it is actually helpful. The other ones left me with only a vague idea what I'm supposed to do. Now I have a system. Thank you!
What is interesting is that my style is so different from yours, but your advice covers the spectrum and is always useful and valuable. I am 70 and tend to like tints, bright colors, feminine, whimsical clothing. I can't stand anything too heavy or with a downward movement. I have a lot of stress in my life, but my descriptive words are optimistic and playful juxtaposed with the requirements of my life which make me have to be competent, efficient, and professional. Those two sides are always fighting but your steady valuable advice seems to help me ground my flights of fancy. Thank you for your thoughtful, generous content.
Hello! You are new to me. I have been searching for a stylist that has similar coloring to me. My pixie is a bit longer than yours, our coloring is a perfect match and I love red lips. I will be binge watching your past videos. Thank you!
Thanks Emily! Great video-super helpful!! I'm moving into minimalist, sophisticated style & starting with anchor pieces, then building will really help me get there & elevate my style.
Found and subscribed to your channel today and am thrilled to find a professional that explains and demonstrates so incredibly well! I know just what I need and don't need now, and feel like that burden of uncertainty has been lifted. Thank you sooo much! Now, after watching your videos, I can make sense of what is in the stores, too!
In a few months, I'm moving with only one (1!) suitcase for all my things. Reducing my clothes drastically is a necessity and I felt overwhelmed at first, but this really gave me guidance. Thank you so much.
I Love your Channel, Love your humor ❤. I am not a Minimalist when it is about clothes, but even though i have a lot, and i like different styles i wear all off my clothes. I am often overdresded, but thats me😂. One thing i have learned is no Impulse bye anymore, and the fabric that i wear is more importent than the look, iff its feels weird i am not going to wear it. Love from Switzerland
That's great Karen! And you definitely don't need to be a minimalist to use these approaches. I love that you love all that you have, that is what is most important!! Thanks for sharing your story.
Oh for sure, I use a similar version for myself when I pack, always choosing anchor pieces first. I'm planning on doing another packing video once travel becomes a bit more common again. Thank you Jackie!
New subscriber here! Just followed your steps to resort my winter wardrobe and found out I have great pieces, I just need to lose a bit of weight for me to really love how they look on me! I’ve been skimming past great items because the just don’t fit quite right. I need to cut back on the mindless snacking 😉
Great video as usual Emily ! Very useful information and I love the way you make it so simple and effortless 😊 I am always looking forward to your new videos (because I bingewatched most of your other videos 😂). Have a great day!
It"s OK to hate synthetic fabrics! They are not good for your skin or the environment. My personal hated fabric is polyester. It's best to stick to cashmere, wool, organic cotton, linen and silk especially if you want a small wardrobe that will last forever.
Hello! I am your new subbie. Your topic today's really hit the spot. I just got rid almost hundred of my clothes since last December and I am still not done with my wordrobe. So glad that I found your channel, keep it going ❤
Very clever, flexable guidelines I definitely haven't come across before and which can be easily applied to any gender. I'd add sandals to the shoe section as Australia is pretty much summer 9 months of the year and most Aussie women live in them. The boots - although admittedly I have too many - not so much.
Yeah. I mean yeah. Thanks for breaking this down. It's like all the things that are common sense but don't necessarily come to mind. Probably because we've been trained to always want more. Your views are helpful in adjusting my mind frame. Thanks!
I’m so happy I found your channel. Your style is very much like mine. My closet is overwhelming with everything I own. I have tried so times to downsize it (which I have) but I LOVE everything I own. Unfortunately haven’t been able to wear them in a year but I’m going to try your suggestions and see what happens. Thanks for sharing ❣️
That's great that we share a similar style. It has definitely been a hard year for wearing clothes. If it helps, maybe still try styling an outfit like you would before all this. That's what I do, makes me feel a little more normal to style a good outfit everyday. So glad you found my channel! Welcome and thank you for your comment!
I have watched many of these videos. That being said, this is by far the most comprehensive and clear one I’ve ever seen. Thanks for breaking it down for me in such a wonderful common sense, rational way. I get it! Whew! Who knew it could be this simple to make wise fashion choices and have more options with fewer pieces. ( I’m not worried, you know what I mean. ) Thanks Emily. Love your outlook.😉
Love this episode! I've been bingeing your channel since I found it this morning. I've been following capsule "wardrobing" for about 4 years now and through my practices, found that year-round works best for me with sprinkling of seasonal pieces since I live in the Mid-Atlantic/North East region. I find your channel super refreshing and a definite top addition to my other capsule wardrobe vloggers. My two most favorite thing about your channel the most are that you're a sister pixie-cut-wearer and that you have the closest style esthetic to mine with a perfect mix of Signe Hansen/Use Less and Jaime Lee/Mademoiselle! 😁 Also noticed one thing: you spelled "Layering" wrong; you spelled it with an "o" instead of an "e". Sorry, had to point that out! 🙊
This was such a helpful video!! I am trying to rebuild my wardrobe to suit my aesthetic and was feeling so overwhelmed with decision making, especially with having things match. This method is so great and I'll definitely be using it!
I'm so glad to hear this video came just at the right time for you Joylyn!! That is exactly why I made it, because I know how daunting it can be. Thanks for commenting!!
Wonderful practical advice. I am WITH you on acrylic - terrible feel. Also, awful for the environment. Acrylic leaches microplastic into our water every time it is washed.
Thank you!! I need to do this ASAP! I have too many tshirts in way too many colors. Decluttered 3 years ago & started a black/grey/white capsule wardrobe. Then I stopped working and started living in tshirts. Lost my way there!
Nothing wrong with t-shirts, it's 80% of my tops :-) But I think it's just about keeping the ones you love, and make you feel good, not frumpy. Thanks so much for your comment Gigi. Let me know how it goes. :-)
Excellent video: loved the fact that you demonstrate the process with your own wardrobe!!! I personally think that your anchor pieces have to be at least one top and one bottom (you should be able to dress yourself once with some pieces you own and love!) I got another point from a new youtuber that I started to follow "Naja Sierra", she has a very neutral, minimalist core style but she has other minor style personalities which she indulge with accessories (her edgy side with a bag with spikes and her boho side with a bag with fringe)I think it is a good idea. I struggle with "not compromising" when I cannot find easily what I am looking for but it is an excellent and very important point! I am also going to use your method to decide what to pack when we are able to travel again!!! Thank you for your well thought and in depth video!!!!
Hi Janic, thanks so much for you comment. I'm so happy that you liked the video. And great additional points. And great idea on using for packing, these are very similar approaches I take to my packing too :-)
Living in a mild climate (Northern California), I’ve found that viscose/rayon is a great, breathable, not too warm, fiber. I think it’s underrated because they are a lot of cheap, flimsy rayon dresses out there, but good quality viscose is a very comfortable, breathable, environmentally friendly fabric. It’s not a synthetic, those are made from petrochemicals, but man-made from natural, cellulosic, plants fibers that often would have been landfilled. Wood pulp/sawdust is the most common, but there are many like bamboo, ramie, etc. Lyocell is even better, it uses a lot less water, and is more environmentally-friendly, to produce than other viscose fabrics. It also has luxury, silk-like properties, but is more expensive and harder to find. We need to vote in our internet searches; if we keep Googling “sweaters without acrylic” or “lyocell tops”, for example, brands will get the message and offer more of these better fabrics.
I'm in this boat too! Always put viscose/rayon/lyocell on top of my list if I can't find or afford a specific piece that's silk. I work in retail and it drives me nuts when I see something that I love down to the silhouette, color and possible fit, only to touch it and realize immediately that it's acrylic. 😵
Media Technical Support People and Staff @ Ms. Fabulous Emily Wheatley, thank you; again, Media Technical Support People and Staff @ Ms. Lovely 😊 Emily Wheatley, thank you; greetings from southcentral Texas USA 🇺🇸
This was fantastic!! Really trying to follow and learn! This helped clarify several questions about creating a capsule wardrobe because mine is still a bit schizophrenic. Which is fine but need some rules moving forward.
A really helpful video the only thing I’m not sure about was the branch off pieces. So I add in additional tops and bottoms that work with the anchor pieces, and make their own outfits, but also work with all the anchor pieces?
I want to just restart my wardrobe lol, I currently have pretty bright clothing and I want to sell it all then buy darker clothing, mostly full of whites, greys, and blacks. Unfortunately my mother won’t let me sell them because she feels I should pass them down to my younger cousins (which to be fair is valid) however I could use the money to kick start a new wardrobe.
Yes true! But that would be nice to pass on to cousins. Maybe going forward for any birthdays or holidays you can request gift cards to your favorite brands/stores and slowly change your wardrobe out that way.
Most consice and helpful videos. I binge watched your videos since yesterday and this morning put a new outfit together that I felt was a good combo of smart casual and edgey and me. So happy. I wonder if you could link your own clothes. For example where did you get your strippy black and white socks and stand up collor shirt?
I'm so glad you are finding the videos helpful, makes me happy! The shirt is unfortunately from Club Monaco but got it 6 years ago, so no longer have it. But it's basically just a black button up with the collar poppped. The socks are from Love Sock Company rstyle.me/+p1f0Tln9rM8eY3t38jhM-g
These tips are very useful for even me, who does not need to build but edit (understatement) my wardrobe. Sooo, do you do consultations?? 😁😁😁 I like the idea of having a smaller wardrobe and know this is something I should do but it is difficult. I understand the "rules" but because I have two very different full time jobs it makes it hard to edit.
I hate all synthetic fibers. I have finally purged my wardrobe of polyester tops, which I loathe, it’s rough, itchy, sweaty and hot. Acrylic is more difficult, I had to buy some sweaters with it to fill a desperate gap (I didn’t have a single one), so I plan to gradually upgrade those, too, as I did with the poly. The difficulty is that these fibers are so ubiquitous that it’s hard to find clothing without them, especially on a tight budget like mine.
2 years later, very actual, for me. Got back to the weight I had in 2020 and everything fits me.. I bought timeless items which work even now, sent to consignation few pieces which were new and felt they are for younger age. I cannot let go long skirts...do not know really how to style them, plain and with patterns..
I would like to see an example of or how to break down these steps when you have several different style aesthetics or if your style aesthetic is shifting or changing somewhat or drastically. Do you have to change your core pieces first? So how would it work if you had boho core items and you're changing towards say a more preppy style ( just an example). Thanks.
I like that idea! I will sort of touch on that in a video coming up speaking to personal style. But may be a good idea to make another one pointed at this. Thanks for the suggestion Sarah!
Hi Emily, I have a question, the clothing you feature is absolutely beautiful but it’s a little bit out of my price range. Do you think you could make a video perhaps on basic essentials to build a wardrobe but maybe what to look for if you’re going to say a target or a Walmart and how to find the best quality there? I’m not sure if this is what your channel does or not but I figured I would just ask
what would make/drive a person to want a change in they're style? especially if they are comfortable with the style they've had for years... nvm I just answered my question...
I like the idea of merging two styles to create your own and unique one. Question is - how to put together cute nerd and crazy b*tch styles to make it look good and not like I am insane :D
Some pieces or I should say many pieces I love so much, I'm afraid to wear them. In historie my wardrobe wasn't very qualative, but now it becomes more and more. Nevertheless I'm afraid, cause it was so time intensive and complicate to build my new style.
I’m totally with you on the acrylic ban wagon. It’s in so many clothes, especially fast fashion. It’s a deal breaker
Definitely! Glad you agree!
I think your choices are timeless!
Thank you so much!! Great compliment!

I love your intro🎶
Thank you Carol!!
'Establishing standards' is a key thing I need to remember! Natural fabrics are the default for items coming into my wardrobe from now on.
Wauw. Wauw. Yes. Thank you!
:-)
Loved your video but then I love them all! Also love your hair and makeup...rocking that red lip!!!
Thank you Sandy!! :-) So glad you loved the video.
Wow! This the best video on this subject I’ve ever seen! Now I won’t be clueless when shopping for clothes. Great Job! Thanks!

A mix & match wardrobe one can never go wrong. Finding the pieces you want is sometimes a battle. Also love a certain type of stripe pattern.
Yes definitely, thank you Tiziana!
That was just fantastic and will be a reference for me. Best stylist out there! I am learning so much from you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skills
That's so great Karen, glad you're getting a lot out of the channel. Thanks for the lovely comment!!
I start my season capsule from a print. It's easier to add solids than prints.
Luv the haircut!!
You've got me started. Love this capsule. I have what I need. Agree. Acrylic is out the window. I'm an itchy person as well!
That is great Andrea!

Thank you so much Sally! I'm so happy that the content helps ground you, such a good way to put it. Your style sounds lovely!!
I hope to get the time to write a book someday. I have two outlines in mind :-)

This is probably one of the best breakdown videos on building your wardrobe. Thank you so much! So helpful and clear
So glad to hear that Andrea!! Thanks for your comment!

So so helpful, Emily. Thank you for sharing your strategies.
Glad it was helpful!
Brilliant!
Thank you Tracey!
In a few months, I'm moving with only one (1!) suitcase for all my things. Reducing my clothes drastically is a necessity and I felt overwhelmed at first, but this really gave me guidance. Thank you so much.
Good luck!! That will be very exciting!
Just discovered your channel! You’re gorgeous and I LOVE your style! Best wardrobe building advice I’ve ever heard! Excited for more...thank you👍🏻
So so happy to hear that Debbie!! Thank you and Welcome to my channel!!
Emily this was so informative and you make it so easy to understand. Thank you so much for this video. Your amazing!!!
Thank you so much! That is so great to hear as I try really hard to make sure it's as concise as possible. :-)
This strategy would be awesome for packing for a vaycay!
Great video! One of the absolute best I've ever seen on creating a cohesive wardrobe. Thank you!
Thank you Grace! What a great compliment to receive first thing in the morning :-) So glad you enjoyed the video.
Great video as usual Emily ! Very useful information and I love the way you make it so simple and effortless 😊 I am always looking forward to your new videos (because I bingewatched most of your other videos 😂). Have a great day!
Ahhh I love to hear that Celine! Makes me happy to know that the information is coming across just as I want it to. Thanks so much!
@@EmilyWheatley ♥️💪🏻🌸
Fantastic tips! Loved this one.
Thank you Larissa!
New subscriber here 💜 Great video!
Yay! So glad to hear it!!
Excellent vid. I will be viewing again and taking notes. I especially liked your comment about “noise” in your wardrobe.
Glad it was helpful for you Cheryl! :-)
This is a great video.
Thank you Kenya!
It"s OK to hate synthetic fabrics! They are not good for your skin or the environment. My personal hated fabric is polyester. It's best to stick to cashmere, wool, organic cotton, linen and silk especially if you want a small wardrobe that will last forever.
Yes completely agree!! Thank you for sharing!!
Excellent. Thanks for the accessories lesson. I had a lightbulb moment! Also, you look stunning.
Oh good! So glad when I can help in those light bulb moments :-)
Loved the video ❤
Thanks Kinga!
Love the tips you provided. I decuttlering my clothes recently. I love the amount and every piece of clothes I have. Great video.
That's fantastic! Such a good feeling! Thank you Anthea :-)
so helpful! thank you!
So glad!
Hello! I am your new subbie. Your topic today's really hit the spot. I just got rid almost hundred of my clothes since last December and I am still not done with my wordrobe. So glad that I found your channel, keep it going ❤
Oh wow, that is great! Thanks Jenjen! Glad you found my channel.
I am happy I found your channel. You are a cool type with good advice.👌
Thank you Dorrit!
Very clever, flexable guidelines I definitely haven't come across before and which can be easily applied to any gender. I'd add sandals to the shoe section as Australia is pretty much summer 9 months of the year and most Aussie women live in them. The boots - although admittedly I have too many - not so much.
Yaaaasssss the lips are popping! Love it!
Yeah. I mean yeah. Thanks for breaking this down. It's like all the things that are common sense but don't necessarily come to mind. Probably because we've been trained to always want more. Your views are helpful in adjusting my mind frame. Thanks!
By common sense I don't mean "duh, we know these things" I just mean logical.
That's great to hear Leslie! Glad the video was helpful for you. :-)
Great video, I had to build a whole new wardrobe because of weight loss and a style change, I’m still working on it.
That's great, hope the journey is going well and you're having fun!
I learned so much! Thanks!
I'm so glad!
Oh I'm so glad that it helped!! That makes me very happy to know! Thank you Lisa!
Wow! What a great video - so informative.
Thank you Mary! I'm so glad you thought so!
Also noticed one thing: you spelled "Layering" wrong; you spelled it with an "o" instead of an "e". Sorry, had to point that out! 🙊
Thank you Pam!! I'm so glad you liked this episode and are enjoying my channel. It is so great to hear that :-)
I love how you explain everything. I’ve subscribed to your Chanel and I’ll go back to watch your previous videos. Thank you for that great advice 😊
Thank you Stella, such a great compliment to receive as that is what I strive for with my videos. Welcome to my channel! So Happy you're here!
You helped me so much. Thank you!
That's so great to hear, thank you Tammy!!
I personally think that your anchor pieces have to be at least one top and one bottom (you should be able to dress yourself once with some pieces you own and love!)
I got another point from a new youtuber that I started to follow "Naja Sierra", she has a very neutral, minimalist core style but she has other minor style personalities which she indulge with accessories (her edgy side with a bag with spikes and her boho side with a bag with fringe)I think it is a good idea.
And great idea on using for packing, these are very similar approaches I take to my packing too :-)
Super helpful video as always! Excited to get building. ;)
Thanks sister! Glad you liked it. As Gus says, "now get to building!" :-)
Yes, I love good quality semi synthetic materials as well, great alternative.
Great video and I’m with you on acrylic! I had the way it feels.
Glad you agree! Thank you Loralee!

Great content.
Thank you Owani!
Super helpful video. How does it still have just 1k likes??
Thank you Jane! Means a lot!
This was fantastic!! Really trying to follow and learn! This helped clarify several questions about creating a capsule wardrobe because mine is still a bit schizophrenic. Which is fine but need some rules moving forward.
Yea, it's ok to be all over the place. But will help to have a few guidelines to not make so overwhelming. Thanks for the comment Saskia!!
A really helpful video the only thing I’m not sure about was the branch off pieces. So I add in additional tops and bottoms that work with the anchor pieces, and make their own outfits, but also work with all the anchor pieces?
I really love quality fabrics but hard to find at low price points. Maybe thrifty is the best way for me to go to build the wardrobe?
Yes, thrifting is a fantastic choice to get quality pieces and give pieces a second life.
Subscribing for that intro alone 💯
Haha love it!! Thank you Rachel!!
This is an incredibly helpful video! Thank you Emily. Is that the Heathered Ivory Everlane sweater you’re wearing?
Sometimes some of us have changed sizes so we DO have to build a new wardrobe.
❤️❤️❤️
I hate all synthetic fibers. I have finally purged my wardrobe of polyester tops, which I loathe, it’s rough, itchy, sweaty and hot. Acrylic is more difficult, I had to buy some sweaters with it to fill a desperate gap (I didn’t have a single one), so I plan to gradually upgrade those, too, as I did with the poly. The difficulty is that these fibers are so ubiquitous that it’s hard to find clothing without them, especially on a tight budget like mine.
Note, acrylic is, ounce for ounce, hotter than wool, it’s not our imaginations that it feels too hot.
Yes, crazy how many use synthetic fabrics these days, even some luxury brands. Thanks Kimberly!
So useful. Do you hang up T shirts, cardigans etc?
I hang up my t-shirts that I wear on a regular basis but put the hanger through the bottom. And I fold cardigans. :-)
I'll try to do one that is more specific but I did do one in the past that might help in the mean time....ruclips.net/video/bOJAZ5gDe6Y/видео.html
@@EmilyWheatley thank you
🤩🤩
Where is your knit from?
I don't like acrylic either as it doesn't wear well over time.
Yes, exactly!
what would make/drive a person to want a change in they're style? especially if they are comfortable with the style they've had for years... nvm I just answered my question...
I like the idea of merging two styles to create your own and unique one. Question is - how to put together cute nerd and crazy b*tch styles to make it look good and not like I am insane :D
I’m getting rid of EVERYTHING! Starting from scratch. Need a new look!
💋 purrrrfekt lipstick for You💋
Thank you :-)
Some pieces or I should say many pieces I love so much, I'm afraid to wear them. In historie my wardrobe wasn't very qualative, but now it becomes more and more. Nevertheless I'm afraid, cause it was so time intensive and complicate to build my new style.
❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
