I wish some old tech would still work.
Still have mine and i thought it’s a goner since haven’t using it for a while. Surprisingly despite having a horrible glitch, it still works okay with spotify! No lags. Battery seems to still work okay as well. Gonna be my music player at home instead of my iphone.
I got mine for Christmas as a kid in 2013, I still have mine to this day! But unfortunately the battery is just not that great anymore. Takes hours to power back on and doesn’t really fully charge anymore. The most battery it would get is around 20%-50% nowadays. Sad to see how it may give up soon but I’m just happy to have my first iPad still!

I had one im gonna be honest it was really good at the time but now in comparison to the newer ipads its bad but it has a nice asthetic feeling to it
I purchased the ipad mini 1st gen 64gb model off of eBay a couple years ago for $24 so I can use my older apps I've had in my apple account since 2009. I'm surprised a good majority of the apps still work, games like Sheep Launcher and Pole Position Remix still runs and looks great on it.
I have a mini five I got for graduation. And I had battery problems with it. When I move a cord. From the iPad. The iPad randomly turns off and I have to plug it back in to turn it back on. Is there anything I should do? Please let me know.
Still have mine. Volume Up button is shot to heck. Surprisingly still holds its charge very well

Yes. But max OTT apps won't run. You need to import movies and watch which is kinda redundant nowadays

There are hacks and tricks on how you can download/install apps. You just need another device (updated device) and an Apple ID. There are video tutorials here on YT.

I was able to play Netflix on mine.. I was testing it after years and was surprised it worked

Older android tablets and phones as old as iPad 1 minni would not even run hardly most android devices don't have the longevity that apple devices do. You pay more money upfront but they perform better longer.
You're kidding right? We have an old Galaxy tab still in use and runs fine meanwhile our ipad mini can't download anything from the apple store. Apple is pathetic.
