The Textile Exchange Learning Journey with Sappi

As a proud member of the Textile Exchange (TE) and as an advisory partner in their biodiversity module development, Sappi was delighted to host TE executives, along with retail representatives and conservation consultants on a learning journey from 09 - 13 July to its operations in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
The Textile Exchange is a global nonprofit organisation with over 700 international members representing leading brands, retailers, and suppliers. They provide a collective driving force for urgent climate action by benchmarking the industry and providing actionable tools for improvement. Their goal is to guide the textile industry to achieve a 45% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions within fibre and raw material production.
