Kevin Conroy: "And if it has to end at least I go out like this, being Batman" The Super Friends, The DCAU, Teen Titans '03... Are they REALLY gone for good? 💔
Well I guess when you look at their timelines but I can't believe they destroyed Titans 03 and DCAU but not Titans go or like the snyderverse which would have been funny lol
The character models for the John Stewart and Shayera shown on E-12 were never on screen together, John's from Justice League while Shayera's is from JLU so we can EASILY imagine that it wasn't the DCAU that we watched.
If the writers confirmed they’re not the real DC heroes from those universes, I would believe them. But since there hasn’t been any official word for it, I’m just pissed that DC did their old universes dirty.
@@anuragbasumatary8984He came from the original DCAU to create this new universe. The DCAU was where Damien was introduced as Robin and a Teen Titan.
"I care, Joker." Not gonna lie, I got chills hearing these final words from the man who in my opinion I always hear in my head when I read Batman comics. Kevin Conroy will always be Batman, and that's how he went out..."Being Batman!"

I was under the impression that the “new universe” is the set up for James Gunn’s new DCU. He did say that his universe would connect through movies, tv shows, animation, and video games(?)
Flash killed baby Darkseid! Omg! They did Rhodey’s plan from Endgame. I bet this is how Flash got the idea Meanwhile in another universe… Rhodey: Why don’t we just find baby Thanos and… (pretending to hang his own neck) Flash: (Suddenly entered from another universe) Hey, that’s a good idea
It wasn't actually the Flash. He travelled back to do it but couldn't only for Darkseid to be killed anyway by a death spell Constantine put on the Flash that killed anyone around him.
I know he is credited but I'm sorry there is no way that was Mark Hamill as Joker. And I don't believe what some people are trying to say that "he's just trying to sound younger".
@@MkayM254 For god's sake enough with this. It's just not Mark Hamill. Just look at his most recent performance in the game MultiVersus. They are two different people and WB is at fault for crediting him for something he didn't do.
I was not expecting Constantine's plan to stop Darkseid to be that dark. Holy cow!! Wouldn't be the first time that he unalived a child to prevent a bad thing, but still. Also, i didn't spot that many animation errors this time around with the designs. Well done i guess.
I mean this 3 part movie series wasn't bad although I do think it was rushed due to James Gunn making the DCU and it was probably a decision from a higher up to cut the universe short, and I do think it could have been decent at least if we had like 4 movies before crisis but I do think what they will do with this new single universe that they made, will it be James Gunn universe? A new animated universe? I don't know but I can't wait to find out.
Nah im calling it, This trilogy was convoluted bs, a predictable yawnfest, Art design was pathetic, generic and quite immature looking compared to earlier animated movies. I was shocked, I literally waited until part 3 was released to binge watch da hell outta them with stern eyes and highly anticipation. Not gonna lie these movies all suck godzilla balls sack from da back. As disgusting as that sounds I am more disgusted with these 3 movies. I'm a 45 year old man who has practically grown up reading da DC comics, tooting my horn to how much better DC animated movies kick DCU live movies cheeks in and marvels animated movies and trash MCU. What da hell is going on with DC studios with this pathetic immature teen looking art design for this trilogy? I am stunned.
@@MuhammadAli-xw4yc I can't disagree with you, The flash and Supergirl are in my top 3 favorite characters in DC and I feel like they butchered them in this universe, and that was probably due to the budget they had and the fact James was starting the DCU and honestly I also didn't like some of the character designs mostly how the faces looked, but I did like some of the costume designs especially WW costume I hope they keep it like that going forward. Also I am not that old so I can't really say about the 90s for DC animation I grew up with like JLU, The Batman, Batman BATB, OG Titans in the 2000s but I have to say the DCAMU and Tommorowvesre have been some of my least favorite DC animation ever

The people saying the DCAMU and the Tommorowverse aren't connected are kicking themselves right now. Like people were arguing the Constantine short House of Mystery wasn't connected and that the old man wasn't Constantine.

Based on the explanation of the Multiverse, I have to agree with you on it being it's own contained Multiverse. The DCAU already had a explanation for the Multiverse with the Hand. Also the DCAMU already had a multiverse crossover with the Teen Titans animated film. Not to mention, My Adventures with Superman has different universe numbers. So either similar to the Arrowverse, the Multiverse was recreated after the events of the film or very similar alternate Multiverses exist.

I am one of the Biggest Batman fans in the world. Love DC. I was not a fan of the first two Crisis movies and because of it I almost missed out on what was a fantastic show, I'm glad I decided (I have to finish it) to watch it. The Kevin Conroy part was a heartwarming moment on a day we buried my wife's mother, we ended a sad day on a good movie and even though my wife was sad, she too enjoyed the movie. When I bought Batman the animated series, my wife watched it with me and when Kevin Conroy's part came up, she clapped, that made it all the more amazing after the day she has had. Great video, Thumbs up.
please excuse me if im wrong. At 10:32 you talked about earth 2003 being a reference to Young Justice earth 16 but the screenshot is of the 2003 CN teen titans show, earth 2003 is their world. Earth 16 was mentioned by ted cord "The anti-monitor it's charging up it's targeting earth-16" but that threat was stopped. please excuse my typos
I like the idea of the ending capping off these characters in a sense similar to the comics these characters will morph and change but ultimately will remain the same. Their stories don't have any true ending just new beginings for new fans so seeing them state this isnt the end of it all is nice.
This movie is pretty much how Kevin Conroy says “kiss my ass!” to Rocksteady for disrespecting Batman in Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League! Batman deserved better!
It was surprisingly not hot garbage. I'm glad this universe is over though but i'm still upset we're ending another universe with "and then everyone dies" for the 2nd time in a row. Cameos were cool but they could've honestly shown way more considering they're just being wiped from existence and 2 with no dialogue. This should've been a true crossover event where DCAU Superman and DCAMU Superman in their respective art styles are the ones we follow in this movie, not 2 Supermen from the same version of the multiverse. Btw, the erasing of the other universes doesn't matter. They were long cancelled shows that are wiped out in only this movie. It doesn't really have an effect on these universes lol. This one Elseworlds movie won't dictate the future of anything but itself. These are just Easter eggs.
Well except Batman TAS and Justice League cartoons share the same universe, so it made no sense. Also I'm truly baffled that people don't see how weak of a movie it was. Narrative wise you have nothing except for a bit of nostalgia bate and no emotional stakes since most of these characters were just introduced or had no character development. Imagine if they used established characters from like the DCAU batman, or even the one from the New 52 inspired universe. This 3 parter was the definition of dog water...
@@Doctor_Glados headcanon: he was feeling nostalgic that week and decided to put in that costume. Joker in universe doesn't actually look that different
Given that the Green Lantern Animated Series managed to put together a decent looking Anti-Monitor, I have no idea why they went the route they did with this movie. They did manage to hit a lot of the important parts of Crisis, including the deaths of Supergirl, Barry and Wonder Woman. However, the Earth 3 destruction actually managed to feel less impressive than the few panels in the original, despite it having a greater focus in part 1. Combining Kara into Harbinger was fantastic, using John for Pariah was another solid move. It was such a mixed bag, but it isn't like the original comic didn't have its share of rather abrupt cameos, like the death of Dove. Given his original role in Crisis, I'm very surprised that the Spectre didn't play a more active role in this movie, given his appearances.
That Kevin Conroy and OG animated Justice League John Stewart scenes really hit hard and nostalagic!! Now Jame's Gunn's connective DC universe will fully take over.
i think with the end of the tomorrow verse, wonder woman essentially created the new james gunn DCU. with the next animated thing being creature commandos connected to dcu
nice review man. tomorrowverse was nice while it lasted and we got to see all our favorites in a situation that required them all in one room. Seeing the universes we know and love perish was super crazy and the punches landed. super curios to what dc has coming next
Thr animation style didn't suit the btas character designs imo also there's no way that was Mark hamills joker despite getting the credit for it, at least Kevin's last words and performance was worthy of his GOAT batman, RIP Kevin the real dark knight.
They really took the age old question "If you could go back in time and kill Hitler, would you" and all the paradox implications and just ran with it. Surprisingly good show. RIP Kevin Conroy
Great review man and honestly as for me this movie was disappointing and very very disappointing adaptation of crisis on infinite earths because come on you had the source material right there and instead doing the story justice this story movie decided say screw it let’s do are own story which isn’t great in my opinion.
to all the people thinking that the universe's of shows like dcau and teen titan are gone...... no they're not they're just alternate universe's cause if the universe of the dcau truely ended there how come shows like batman:beyond exist.
Exactly everything that happened in this movie just closed everything that dcamu and tomorrowverse, it does not dictate neither what happened to the other universes neither the promised future of having only 1 single universe. Those were all just pointless but added to the movie just to make it look cool. Ofcourse there will not only be 1 universe because gunn said that there will be elseworld projects too. So the ending pointless apart from closure. I don't even think that they're going to do a new animated movie universe
If they killed teen titans universe and dcamu universe, why are they still on my bookshelf? Get the point I’m trying to make? They killed it from the canon so they can respectfully retain their value without future dc writers shamelessly plugging it apart of of their multiverse story
The only thing that really bothered me about the Tomorrowverse was the lack of Raven and Starfire. A core character in Apokolips War and two of the few survivors appear as either a cameo to die or just not at all. They could have used both of them in some way
anti monitor is 1 sentient being, whatever darkseid did in the past it makes these monitor beings cease to exist. Having flash killing darkseid means these monitor beings stay existing.
I enjoyed it. It's a step up from part two. If I had a complaint (besides the anti-monitor), almost everything seemed tied up except for one thing: back in the Justice Society movie we saw a young man in prison with Superman's suit. I figured that was Kamandi, but it was never followed up on. I thought it would be here.
With the announcement of the Watchmen cartoon, I have a sneaking suspicion that an adaptation of Doomsday Clock may be forthcoming, and therefore, a new multiverse.
That's literally the opposite of the point. Because they try, they're able to survive in the monoverse. It matters to try, and even if you don't totally win, it's worth it.
I love the way in the ending the way talk about the multiverse is a mistake, a cancer and isnt supposed to exist because its true and thats exactly why crisis was created back in the 80s. Its unfortunate they went back on it
Eh in the comics it wasn't that the multiverse wasn't supposed to exist, the problem was the writers felt it had gotten to complicated and that one set timeline would be simplier.
I didn’t mind this movie because I thought the ending was alright. I just wish the universe didn’t end so soon because I thought it had a ton of potential.
I will never forget those moments when we saw Super Friends, DCAU, and Teen Titans 2003 universe being destroyed was mighty, amazing, and beautifully tragic. It gave me vibes of Attack on Titan and the death of Liberio and Marley during the Rumbling and Death of Hange. I wish this movie had more time to cook and we got more time with Super Friends, DCAU, and 2003 Teen Titan before they were destroyed but what I got makes me happy.
Am I crazy but everyone is saying that was mark hamil voicing joker but unless I'm taking crazy pills or mark phoned it in that is NOT him, sure it's his joker but that is not his voice. Also am I the only one that assumed Kevin conroys batman was the same Batman from the justice league/unlimited and superman series, so why was it 2 different worlds?
Honestly while I don’t think these movies were bad, they don’t live up to what a Crisis story can be. I know most of it is budget problems and they probably couldn’t afford to do all that they wanted, but still it’s a bit of a let down.
@@kwayneboy1524 Well this will be based on personal bias and I don't mean any disrespect towards you but here's the list: 1. Part one/the supergirl tie-in ep was the only one that felt it was faithfully adapting COIE storyline. After that it essentially became "goodbye Oliver Queen." 2. They did Kevin Conroy dirty. 3. Comic and the tomorrowverse had way more hero and villains and knew how to use them. CW had only the standard main characters plus Lex and Kingdom come Superman and fumbled with them all due to bad writing. 3. The disappearance of the flash that was teased for years and was built up towards this event didn't happen. With the CW using the 90s show variation as a last minute substitute. In otherwords they lied/hoodwinked their core audience with a character death they had no intention of following through with. While p###ING off the 90s flash fan base. 4. 'OMG Harbinger was herobrine this whole time!' 5. The Ezra Miller cameo didn't age well and the fact that the DCEU didn't include that scene in any of their films shows how much of a nothing burger the late arrowverse was. 6. The monitors and anti-monitor's homeworlds look fake as f##k even with prosthetics over CGI and don't get me started on the power ranger style fights. 7. The finale boss fight looked like a PlayStation 2 cut scene. 8. Didn't change the status quo as dramatically as the original story. Plus no major character deaths outside of Oliver removed any real stakes from the crossover. 9. Oh and I almost forgot: 'OMG dementers! The big bad is using poorly edited dementers everyone!' It may not be cringe, but it sure as heck was s##t. At least to me.
Maybe it’s just me but why was Lois lane so present like what purpose did she serve? Also having Razor and Aya there without Hal Jordan felt so weird to me as they had a whole tv show
I like your videos and I respect you as a youtuber but I have to disagree. I understand that adaptations make changes, that the nature of the process but they typically don't completely change the story they are adapted from and aside from the names and most basic elements this does not resemble at all the source story. And thats not even bringing up the lazy fan service and key jangling. It was better then The Flash movie's attempt but not by much. And it's not like we haven't already had an adaptation that heavily deviated from the OG in the CW attempt. I would use X-Men: TAS as an example where you can make minor changes to a story and keep it mostly intact. A good example of this is their handling of the Phoenix and Dark Phoenix Sagas. They didn't change things as much as they just knew when to leave certain elements out.
@@qntoniia Plus, based on the dialog it seems like John Constantine exists outside of the Multiverse, and has been around before the Universe came into existence. Thus, he wasn't able to enter the new Singular Universe.
Actually DCAU is multiverse not single universe. Main/Prime universe is called Earth-12 also Young Justice universe is Earth-16. Every Bruce Timm styled elseworld movies and shows are part of this multiverse like Gods and Monsters.
If crisis its adapted someday on james gunn DCu it probably would be more like dark crisis or infinite crisis, the chances of adapting dark crisis instead of crisis on infinite earths its big since crisis on infinite earths was already adapted in animation and live action tv series, and in the live action movies the villain would be darkseid instead of anti monitor
Personally, I did think that this film and the tomorrowverse in general were good. I also love Kevin Conroy's last role as Batman. I did wish that Superman was utilized more and better during the crisis since he was the starting point of the tomorrowverse. I also wished that Superman and Supergirl had more family moments in the tomorrowverse, as it would have made her death and Superman's reaction all the more impactful. While it was sad to see many DC universes destroyed, there's still hope that they could still be a part of the new universe made by the miracle machine. We did see Terry's Batman go through after all. Not to mention that despite Wonder Woman sacrificing herself, a version of Wonder Woman exists in the new universe.
9 out of 10, sure this Trilogy isn’t Perfect and you can tell that in some Areas they cut some Corners in the Animation BUT this was a Enjoyable Ride, the Characters were Great, the Stakes and Sacrifices felt High, it finishes the Build Up from Apokalips War and the Tomorrowverse that it makes sense Darkseid is a Fix Point as even in the Comics he’s a Force we can’t get rid of and it would explain why Good Characters have become Evil later on, it’s a Emotional Farewell for Kevin Conroy and probably Mark Hamill for the Last Time, the Character Progression is Very Good, and the Kameos are Nostalgia Done Right, all in all a Much Better Crisis than the CW Monstrosity.
Question saying fuck your new world of lies and leaving was the most Question shit I have ever seen. Gigachad energy until the end. That and Luther not being able to have a plan that doesn't kill Superman was hilarious.
I feel like your theory of a self contained multiverse holds up. My evidence is two animated shows/movies that still exist and we're not connected to this plot at all: My Adventures With Superman and Young Justice. Both of these animated properties are slated for new seasons and continues forward beyond this storyline.
@@WickedFireBird69 Because TTG HAS confirmed to have a Darkseid and the only universes that were targeted were the versions where Darkseid died as a baby. Plus with TTG minor 4th Wall breaking they would easily have just retconned Darkseid into their universe. Basically with the insanity of the universe it would be pulled off the chopping block by filling in the criteria that's needed to survive.
I think there's some justice on the green lantern, especially the 2012 series, where their story sti actually continued by cameo the characters in some of their other shows like young justice where Razer was seen in the last season still looking for Aya, and in this crisis part three, at long last they finally got back to each other.
Are you kidding me? First of all they completely undid Kara's sacrifice and the entire reason behind giving so much time to Psycho Pirate. Why didnt Supergirl jusy go get the Miracle machine in the first place? And why would the universe all of a sudden split because Darkseid was murdered? Absolutely trash writing all across the board. Only reason worth seeing this movie is to hear, the best Batman there ever was say a line, RIP Kevin Conroy. Aside from that little moment this had the stench of DEI hires rewriting an already existing story, so they could call it theirs while they burn everything that came before them to the ground. Only problem is they ruined it like they do everything else. How do you undermine a heroic sacrifice of that magnitude, by a woman no less, with such a stupid Deus Ex Machina?
Im totally upset alot of my characters and universes are gone like the super friends and og animated shows i grew up watching. Since everyone is being reborn in earth prime i hope they bring in an animated version of Superboy prime in future if ever probably won't since he is part of Earth prime
So the reason why The Losers showed up is because there was a short with the Constantine compilation which also featured a few shorts that are canon in Tomorrowverse. The scene of the plane coming out from the portal is something that was set up with that short (although that short implied that the character died since a lot of the team bit the dust in the short)
How big of a character was Barry Allen Flash in this movie compared to how he was in the comics where he disappeared into the Speed Force sacrificing himself trying to stop the Anti-Monitor?
he's literally not in this movie lmfao, he dies in part 1 or 2 and we only see an old man barry from the future for like 30 seconds and DCAMU Barry in the wrong artstyle with no dialogue in a flashback of what happened to the DCAMU Darkseid.
There was no 'speed force' concept at the time Barry destroyed Anti-Monitor's anti-matter cannon. He died. Later, again, before the speed force concept, it was revealed that he ran himself back through his entire life and became the lightning bolt that gave him his powers to begin with.
@@willchurch8376 Plus, the technique Barry used to destroy the Anti-Monitor's cannon was a technique that he learned from another speedster. It allows a speedster to destroy anything within the circle but it also kills the speedster.
@@Solitaire001 What are you talking about? The only 'other speedsters' at the time were Jay and guys like Superman, Captain Marvel, etc. Wally had lost his speed, Reverse Flash was dead...Barry invented most of the speed 'techniques' in comics at the time. In CoIE 8, we see Flash run in and the machine explodes as he turns into a skeleton and vanishes. There's no talk of technique or anything of the sort, and unless you count Barry 'copying' Jay's techniques that he learned in the comics, no one taught Barry to run in a circle, he was creating whirlwinds back in the 60s. In Secret Origins Annual 2, we see that Flash realizes the canon is powered by a tachyon, and he strains himself to the limit to catch it, going back through time to become the lightning bolt that gave him his powers. It is a serious question by the way, not just a 'you're wrong shut up' comment. I'd be very interested in knowing more about where you got this information.
@@willchurch8376 It was in a story from one of "The Flash" Annuals. IIRC, The Flash (Barry Allen) was on another planet and met a speedster there. He saw that speedster use that technique to save a number of lives, but the problem was that once a speedster starts to use it it can't be stopped. That's why when I saw Barry's death in the original "Crisis on Infinite Earths" it reminded me of that story. The Annual also said that the top speed for both Barry and Jay was the speed of light, but the difference was that Barry can reach top speed faster, but Jay can maintain top speed longer. However, with all of the continuity changes it is likely that is no longer the case...just like it could be the case with the story I mentioned.
In arrow verse they merged all the main show universes to earth prime but they also restored the mutiverse but they can't visit the other universes or didn't have a chance to rediscover them
I'm interested to know what happens to the characters that didn't cross the portal, like Question and Constantine. Also, what does crossing into the portal even mean? Like, what about regular people, as they never got to cross?
Lol i felt, this trilogy was a MESS. I really liked the final movie, 2nd was awful, 1st was ok/good . I just feel like they went out of their way to make this story as convoluted as possible. The plot of the third feels like it should have been the main story not some big reveal. It was obvious the worlds were being reset, all this Supergirl shit (in the 2nd movie) for nothing. It felt so meh. Really wish they would have just kept the Flash stuff, mixed with the Batman, Supes, GL, and wonderwoman stuff and we would have had a tighter and better 2 parter. Also Supergirl sacrifice did feel sad, but to immediately undercut it by having Wonderman do another sacrifice was wild lol both Supermen didn't do shit lol
the thing is that whenever there is a crisis event out of the comics, it is still by all means self contained, every alternate universe seen is still just a version of them, we know the dcau doesn’t get destroyed because they last way longer than shown in the movie. there’s specific parts of this multiverse that just apply to this universe and ttg is definitely in the category of being outside of the tomorrow universe.
Since TTG HAS a Darkseid it is NOT part of the multiverse that we watched, since that multiverse (or at least the universes targeted) were the ones where Darkseid never became a threat. Just like the E-12 we saw destroyed was NOT the DCAU we grew up watching since they have a Darkseid plus the character models used for John Stewart (his Justice League look) and Shayera (her Justice League Unlimited look) were never on screen at the same time. Really they were only killing off the "universes" for shows that have ended. If we are taking the backstory for how all this happened because Darkseid died as a baby as an absolute than any animated universe where Darkseid existed it means they were never in any danger.
So they took away Dr. Light's key role in destroying the Anti-Monitor and gave it to Supergirl. And it doesn't seem that she got the character development from Supergirl's death, either. They wasted the entire point of her being given powers, then. PITIFUL.
I personally like the effort that they tried to put all earths aldough i do wish they could have put in more dialogue and actions from each. And also wheres superman prime in this movie is he part of the story line in any of this could someone explain to me that part??? They should really make a movie of Superman Prime it would be awesome except maybe not making him so whining that people didn't like from the original. Excited for new universe.
10:20 I definitely with JLU got more recognition in these films but seeing them have me a nice sense of nostalgia as well. My childhood needed that, but was also sad at how it played out 20 seconds later lol
The thing that is odd about how people are interpreting this series is that it is somehow separate from the DCAU-Timmverse. It is designed as an homage to the last 70 years of DC animation and a positive ending for the DCAU of the last decade that adapted the New 52. But if you watch MAWS you see that nothing is over. It’s the Birth, Death, Rebirth Cycle mythology. I’m only disappointed that Batman and Aquaman from The Brave and the Bold never showed up to utter a somber, “Outrageous.”
As much hate as the DCAMU got, I think we can say they did really well by comparison. I always loved it and was confused by the hate they got because they were able to give so many characters screen time and development, which in itself extended the universe even if they didn’t get a movie. Tomorrowverse as a whole was just rushed on so many levels
Man, I Hope If There Is A New Animated Universe I Hope John Constantine Is There In It. He Was One Of The The Few Characters That Made Me Fall In Love With The Dcamu
The Crisis trilogy was better than anticipated, not great but enjoyable. The finale was the best of the 3 especially hearing Kevin Conroy s last entry as Batman and cut scene to DCAU with Justice League from 01-06. That was the best. Superfriends scene was cool too. After warworld didnt think the Tomorrowverse version of the Justice League and Crisis would work. I d give it a solid 7.
I like how darkseid is a fixed point. Someone who must exist. Also love how Flash didn't just run back in time and like move a chair and change the universe. He unintentionally killed darkseid changing everything. Also at the end Who the hell let joker walk through that portal😂😂😂😂😂😂.
I was hoping for the storytelling to get better, this being the 3rd and last of the series and having the benefit of getting reactions from fans and viewers about the first two installments… but I was struggling to keep awake to finish this 3rd movie. I did feel sad seeing the JLU and BTAS disappear. They were the most memorable to watch among the DC animated series. So far, I’m not yet sold on the new universe they are selling. To paraphrase the Question’s remark: It’s starting over with a fake history…
Sobre todo cuando estamos en 2024 y nos siguen contando historias de 1980/90s en el cine. yo espero feliz algo como batman vs alien o robocop vs terminator. xD
The movie part 3 erred when showcasing the other animated universes in them being destroyed by the Crisis. Yes, it's insensitive, but it's also contradictory. The movie stated that Darkseid only existed in one universe; yet, the Superfriends and JL Unlimited universes also had their own version of Darkseid. That's contradiction.
I really hate Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3, I wholeheartedly disagree with everything in the video. Maybe it’s because I was in an emotional breakdown, scratch that I did have an emotional breakdown. Unlike the original Crisis on Infinite Earths comic, where it made sense to destroy multiple universes, the movie just creates more problems then it already has. I swear, most people only like it because it’s Kevin Conroy’s last outing. And while I do like that moment, it completely ignores what’s happening in the rest of the movie.
Yes exactly. This movie is such a mess... Take out the nostalgia and any other emotional context and it's objectively terribly put together. Characters mouth moving but no sound, awkward scene transition I mean you could write an essay about how bad it is.
The scene with all of the green lanterns and the guy taking control of everyone’s mind that last time just to do nothing and watch as Martian manHunter blasts the anti monitor made no sense.
hard to see the BTAS and the other JLU members getting blinked out. wish they’d had more lines for the voice actors from those shows. also enjoyed the continuity from the other DCAU films and shows. gonna miss my favorite batman rip Kevin. was touching seeing hawkgirl and John share a final kiss before the end.
Super random but… They should make a green arrow video game, that is connected to the dcu. The game play should be similar to the game, tomb raider and Uncharted. We already had an arrow tv show, so why not introduce us to the character in a different way. Just throwing sum random ideas out.
My question is more like, does The Question still exist or not since he refused to go in the portal. Or does John Constantine exist, too, since he walked off with The Specture. And what about Flash? Does he still exist or? Since the multiple versions of him got erased during the movie.
I’m confused too but this is what I think happened they created a whole new universe. The reason I think that is because obviously Darkseid must exist so they created a universe with him in it and in that universe along with everyone else. So a new Flash a new Question and a new Constantine the people going through are just becoming apart of this universe. For example there’s a Superman prime which is the Superman apart of the new universe but the Superman from the multiverse instead of dying goes through the portal to live on through this new Superman. At least that’s what I think I mean it explains why Wonder Woman is alive at the end of
@nickisnotgnarly yea, but you know they all had to go in the portal for then to be a new version of them. Like the portal was combining all versions of the heroes and villains into one new version of themselves, that being their prime versions of themselves. But they didn't go through the portal, so there won't be a version of them because we pretty much only saw one version the question and one version of constaine. We did, however, see multiple versions of Flash, but they all got wiped, and no version of Flash went through the portal.
@@demonslayer9679 it creates a new world a new universe that has Darkseid in it a brand new earth with the same people from the other earths including Flash Constantine and the Question. The ones who didn’t go through died and either went to heaven or hell the people who went through was basically a way of them not dying. It’s the reason why The Ouestion did go through because it’s not authentic they made it themselves it’s not really what happened. Hence it’s a false universe. Now of course I could be wrong which would explain why Constantine didn’t go through because he believed he should die and pay for his crimes. Idk the movie didn’t do a good job at explaining
I’m really enjoying the entire trilogy except part two I like part three is really good. But except the soundtrack the song I don’t like them much in the beginning opening scene, but I like that the Batman theme is really nice to see one last time. Well I guess when you look at their timelines but I can't believe they destroyed Titans 03 and DCAU but not Titans go or like the snyderverse which would have been funny lol
Of course they aren't gone for good. Crisis is just a story. WB can bring that stuff back whenever they want.
The character models for the John Stewart and Shayera shown on E-12 were never on screen together, John's from Justice League while Shayera's is from JLU so we can EASILY imagine that it wasn't the DCAU that we watched.

I like the idea of the ending capping off these characters in a sense similar to the comics these characters will morph and change but ultimately will remain the same.
Their stories don't have any true ending just new beginings for new fans so seeing them state this isnt the end of it all is nice.
Glad the Green Lanterns did something very OP in blocking an anti matter wave. Green Lanterns and Nightwing are usually punching bags

The same reason in comics the Legion of Superheroes had Superboy after comics crisis on infinite earths it was copied into a pocket dimension
They could have used both of them in some way
The anti-monitor is more like Sentinles from X-men:days of future past.
anti monitor is 1 sentient being, whatever darkseid did in the past it makes these monitor beings cease to exist. Having flash killing darkseid means these monitor beings stay existing.
How's the Anti-Monitor or the Black giant in this movie compared to his counterpart from the Arrowverse?
Any of the universes that look like past ones are actually copies of the versions pre-existing in the normal multiverse.
I know that wouldn't be that real but would be kinda cool if is revealed that MAWS universe is the world created after Crisis.
So... Owlman was right. It doesn't matter. Nothing matters.
The mind can still be put to use. Think of ozymandias
Why did I hear that in his voice lol?
it's only if u look at things with no nuance. Even if it doesn't matter, we can make it matter
Its unfortunate they went back on it
It didn't even last in the comics. not to mention that was only within the comics. Batman 89 aint in the monoverse thats for sure
Eh in the comics it wasn't that the multiverse wasn't supposed to exist, the problem was the writers felt it had gotten to complicated and that one set timeline would be simplier.
It's not really true, the Multiverse as a cancer is just a plot point for this film, rather than a condemnation of the concept.
I didn’t mind this movie because I thought the ending was alright. I just wish the universe didn’t end so soon because I thought it had a ton of potential.

4. 'OMG Harbinger was herobrine this whole time!'

I feel like your theory of a self contained multiverse holds up. My evidence is two animated shows/movies that still exist and we're not connected to this plot at all: My Adventures With Superman and Young Justice. Both of these animated properties are slated for new seasons and continues forward beyond this storyline.
Oh, so when YJ S5 coming out?
@@1993digifan who cares that show has sucked since season 2. I'm more interested in why they didn't show the Teen Titans Go universe being destroyed.
Tomorrowverse Main Villains Ranked
_Two-Face (HONORABLE MENTION)_
1. Gilda Dent/Holiday
2. Brainiac
3. Rudy Jones/Parasite
4. Charles Halstead/Advisor/Doctor Spectro/Psycho-Pirate
5. Anti-Monitor
6. E-1 Lex Luthor
7. Hal Jordan/Parallax
_Mon-El (HONORABLE MENTION)_
8. Sinestro
9. Mongul
Lex Luthor was more impressive than Anti-Monitor was in his own movie. I can't believe you rate him higher than any of the ones you listed.
I
Know it
Was a terrible show
Im totally upset alot of my characters and universes are gone like the super friends and og animated shows i grew up watching.
Wow its been 11 years since the dcamu started i cant believe it and now its over💔😢
It’s over?
What would have happened if Batman had the Element-X Batsuit, Hellbat Batsuit and the Insider Suit to use against the Anti-Monitor?
What's the best thing about this movie and who do you think is the best character? Is this movie setting up something else to look forward to?
Did Teen Titans go universe got wiped out? Just asking
Nope. It survived out of sheer stupidity.
the thing is that whenever there is a crisis event out of the comics, it is still by all means self contained, every alternate universe seen is still just a version of them, we know the dcau doesn’t get destroyed because they last way longer than shown in the movie. there’s specific parts of this multiverse that just apply to this universe and ttg is definitely in the category of being outside of the tomorrow universe.
Let’s hope
Is the new world the dcu? If so does that mean the flash is Wally west?
So they took away Dr. Light's key role in destroying the Anti-Monitor and gave it to Supergirl. And it doesn't seem that she got the character development from Supergirl's death, either. They wasted the entire point of her being given powers, then. PITIFUL.
so what now? we dont get constantine and question anymore? they are just done forever?
i mean im pretty sure after this everything is going to be james gunns dcu aside from the batman universe.
AYYYY Razor finally found Aya that's nice
Will there be an “all the characters who appeared in Crisis” video for part 3??
10:20 I definitely with JLU got more recognition in these films but seeing them have me a nice sense of nostalgia as well. My childhood needed that, but was also sad at how it played out 20 seconds later lol
There is no Mark Hamill Joker
He sounds different, but Mark Hamil's name was in the ending credits.
I’m only disappointed that Batman and Aquaman from The Brave and the Bold never showed up to utter a somber, “Outrageous.”
feeling bad for john constantine
Confused by you not wanting John there? The Lanterns seemed pretty solid.
Sobre todo cuando estamos en 2024 y nos siguen contando historias de 1980/90s en el cine. yo espero feliz algo como batman vs alien o robocop vs terminator. xD
This movie was epic. I was expecting it to be blah at the end like so many other shows we get (HOTG, GOT, etc) but this had a great conclusion.
The script is a mess altogether. A bunch of characters appear and disappear randomly. A lot of things happen with little to no explaination.
Eh too each their own I actually thought it was fun
hard to see the BTAS and the other JLU members getting blinked out. wish they’d had more lines for the voice actors from those shows. also enjoyed the continuity from the other DCAU films and shows. gonna miss my favorite batman rip Kevin. was touching seeing hawkgirl and John share a final kiss before the end.
With The Question, I think there is a Question in the new universe but The Question who didn't go to the new universe is not part of him.
Wait im confused with the ending, wouldnt darkseid be alive and just conquer earth again? And kill most of the heroes?
Where can I watch this
RIP Kevin Conroy
I’m really enjoying the entire trilogy except part two I like part three is really good. But except the soundtrack the song I don’t like them much in the beginning opening scene, but I like that the Batman theme is really nice to see one last time. His final act on this crossover Can’t wait for the new beginning of the new world of DC animated whatever the new title is ?I’ll give it.7.0of10
