What was the part # for the stage6 input gearset you used? I've tried a variation on this with malossi 13/44 set for minarelli and malossi hobbit gear and it seems like I'm running into insufficient backlash, hard to turn after getting case together. From what I found, the s6 minarelli set is 13/43 and s6 piaggio set is 13/39, that 13 has gotta be different somewhere between them. Got some measuring to do, but what would your thought be on shortening gear teeth on the lathe to gain backlash? I dig the videos! Thanks man
Link is in the description, its not minarelli its piaggio. You don't shorten the gear backlash on the OD you do it on the diametral pitch of the gear, which without a gear hob or a wire edm is nearly impossible. One other thing I found is if you use a lockout delete spacer I have ran into side load binding issues. If you delete the gasket you wont have enough clearance for the gear to turn. Had to make some custom shims to get everything nice. And the reason I use the piaggio is it has an outboard mount for an extra bearing, I don't think the little tiny bearings will last long with all that weight hanging off them.

Bonjour, j'ai le même projet pour mettre un ensemble embrayage de scooter

this is great! Thanks for figuring it out. What are you plans for the front vario?
The new treats vario is nice. Or piaggio scooter crank in hobbit cases then any piaggio variator.
@@pitobread would you just remove all the clutch shit if you ran the treats vario (non scooter vario)
@@Corn-ped I would sure try. All that extra weight to spin on the crank...
What is the top end after you did this mod I love my hobbit
Im working on changing the belt on mine, is there an easy way to just change the belt?
@@lucasslegobuilds take the cover off, loosen the rear wheel and the adjusters and slip it off.
