- In today's video we will gonna take a look at PrimeOS and decide if it's really the best android operating system for gaming out there. We will also see the installation proccess of PrimeOS: Dual Boot PrimeOS and Windows 10, Dual Boot PrimeOS and Windows 11, PrimeOS Bootable USB (or Live CD) and, of course, PrimeOS Full Install. As for gaming, PrimeOS didn't disappointed me. Every game that I tested worked flawlessly, and the DecaPro key mapping tool made everything easy, especially with the popular games like PUBG, Free Fire, Call of Duty and so on are alreay mapped from the go. Ventoy is a godsend. I used Bliss OS for a long time, but just yesterday re-tried Prime OS (the Android 11 Beta). It has been amazing so far! I never thought anything could get better than Bliss OS, but BOY was I wrong!

For this video I used native. However, in my last video about PrimeOS 2.0 (DON'T INSTALL) I've used the phone because the whole operating system is broken

There is also x86 android tv.. if you want just for watching. But yes.. you can use prime os also

Phoenix os has modder support and also in some case it has better ui than prime os even key mapping was better when I last checked . But prime os was a bit more smooth for my device and afaik both of these two isn't getting anymore updates for a long time .
That's what I mean.. that "bit more smooth" part. That's what I searched.. not UI and all the rest.

Well.. to be honest.. no. I would not use this as a main os. I'm a windows fan. And I do videos like this to test operating systems. But if I would have to choose an operating system to use daily (and not windows) then it will be Chrome OS. If you are interested, I have a bunch of videos about Chrome OS in my playlist
And on Chrome OS you can also activate Linux development environment, if you are a Linux fan and like the terminal. And about safety.. well.. it's Google:)

No, is absolutely safe. PrimeOS is licensed to run play store and all that. You could even say that is more legit then android x86

Why boot menu not showing by default i always have to select harddrive by pressing bios key then their a option of windows and prime os and prime os is opening by default on boot up is it happening to me because of legacy bios ?
Go in bios, at moot menu and with the F5 or F6 keys move PrimeOS on the 1st position instead of "Windows Boot Manager"

No. check my other video about the Android 11 beta. the fact that even after 2 years, they STILL have Android 11 beta, and didnot even bother to make it stable, it tells you evertyting you need. Stick with android 7 version

Depends on any device. Some are full compatible, some have glitches. Best way to test it is to make a bootable USB (live cd) and see if all works good on your device

So PrimeOS was less using RAM rather than Emulator or its opposite?
Hi. Definitely it uses less ram. The emulator runs in parallel with Windows so windows and all ur programs will take the ram that they need, and the emulator over them. While Install Prime OS you don't have Windows to worry about

tell me about battery life and overheating while gaming on your laptop compared to windows
I don't game on windows, just occasionally on the phone. So I can't give an example to that. On laptop what I do that is intense, that needs power is editing, especially the rendering part, and compared to that, gaming on primeOS was no problem. Was no overheating. As for battery life... My laptop is 90% of the time at charging.. the battery lasts about half hour in general.. so I can't say that either.

Which screen recorder you used in this video
In PrimeOS I used the build in screen recorder... for the windows part I used OBS
My system also works best with Prime OS... Other alternatives all have disadvantages
I just hope they make a stable version of 2.0 soon

i dont know how you guys say positive thing about primeos yet failed to mention to us that its playstore has no netflix at all.
also have you guys tried browsing to secure sites in primeos? most banking sites i usually frequent, gives me warning when using the chrome preinstalled browser about security. Installing others browsers from playstore can be done but none working at all ie edge, brave.
primeos is definately only for gaming but looking at those points above, just use for gaming and never put critical information on your finances.
hope someone checked the codes of primeos if there's spyware or phising preinstalled or whatever flag these security warnings.
I tried the mainline version after having enough of crashes with the beta version, however both dont have netflix and other browsers beside chrome not working at all
U saw the video? I clearly said that "I was interested in the gaming experience" this video is ONLY about PrimeOS being the best android os for gaming. It never crossed my mind to check finances on it.. tf..

What business? i only mentioned trying to use the browser to log into my finances as i did with my phone but those secure finance sites give security flags in primeos and installing other browser such as edge, brave, duck yields the same.

No. Or at least no as far as I know.

if u want for gaming, then Prime OS. Of course, you can play games on Chrome OS as well, but you dont have keymapper. If you want an OS for web surfing, youtube and so on, then Chrome OS is better.. looks also more smooth.
However, PrimeOS is compatible with many more devices then Chrome, also the installation is way easier.

You can make dual boot, of course. Don't go to "advance installation" like I did in the video. Go to the 2nd option, after live cd, and there you can select a partition on your drive C to install prime os next to. But be careful, you need to have a partition done. Not that you install over windows. Best way is to make a partition already in windows, then reboot and install prime os on it
can you pls tell me why primeos or any other android os takes so much time to boot because i have tried installing it on 2 machines but on both the machines, it takes a very very long time to boot. Can u tell me a possible fix if there is one?
Did it boot eventually or got stuck? And what u mean by long time? How much approximately? At me is usually fast. Especially with android
@@TheArtmann it booted eventually but it took a long time like for me it took almost 7-10 mins everytime on a decently speced pc
What system? 7-10min is way to long. It should be under one min on a decent PC.

You need to go in boot menu (not bios) and select prime OS from there. Or, if you want your PC to boot directly in PrimeOS and not windows, then in bios, at boot priority, you need to move PrimeOS on 1st position

Yes, but not in the new (Beta) version
Did every step correctly and when tried to boot after prime logo shutdown itself, also tried to install chrome os previosly today showed missing os error. Installed chrome os flex worked fine.

@@TheArtmann Its old laptop but i thought will work its asus k52f, i3 m350 cpu, still can run windows 10 but time to time can be slow so i wanted some smooth os. Flex is fine but have no play store, will try some other solutions next days maybe will find a fix. It was unused for few years so i wanted to use it for small tasks.
Chrome OS will not run on it. PrimeOS is at the edge. Usually prime os and Bliss OS recommends that the system should not be older than 4-5 years. You can try remix or phonenix os

PrimeOS and Bliss OS are recommend for 4 - 5 years old systems. 8-9 years you can try remix or phonenix

Prime OS got bad after 7.1. Eversice they started working on they PrimeBook laptops they left the OS in shambles
If i install this os and play Arenabreakout will it detect it as emulator? actually its OS but still i have doubts
i can't say for sure. it's been ages since i tried this os. and frankly, is not that great anymore since the latest update. you'll have better performance with an emlator i guess

The GPU is not supported by the OS.. any android OS.. or Chrome OS. Just the CPU.

You need a usb with another operating system, like windows, PrimeOS, android, Linux, etc... And install the OS over Bliss

U don't need to reinstall. Go in bios, at boot priority and select PrimeOS (maybe it has other name) on the first position in front of Windows Boot Manager. You can move it with F5 or F6 keys. Save and exit and at restart you should see prime os

Usually when u install PrimeOS at one point u have the option to install the prime os bootloader (so you can always choose between windows and PrimeOS at startup) but maybe u skipped that part and u didn't Install it. In that case yes, u always have to press F9 to go in PrimeOS

U need to use keymapper to see which is the aim key.. I don't remember... I guess it was F1. Check it out. Is something like press F1 for aim and release. If this doesn't help, you should check on PrimeOS forum for more details

Compare to chrome os which one is smooter
I don't rly want to compare it with Chrome because they r not rly equal. You know, chrome being harder to install and is not compatible with so many devices as an android os. But if both would be equals, installing and compatibility, then Chrome would win.
Prime os 0.6.1 resolution stuck in 1024x768 in my PC. How can I change it?
U had other resolution before?
@@TheArtmann No. I didn't do anything. Prime OS 0.6.1 boots normally but in 1024x768 resolution. I've tried several methods but none of them worked for me.

@@TheArtmann Not just this prime os stucks in 1024x768 but all andoid os stuck in 1024x768 resolution. I've tried Pheonix os, Bliss os, remix os, and even andoid x86 all stuck in 1024x768.

if you have PC with Nvidia GPU it will probably cause lockups and will lead to freezes and you should probably disable it. I'm not saying that this is all the time on any PC with graphics card, but it can happen. However, if you have a laptop, your Intel gpu will work well instead of Nvidia. I had absolutely no problem with it.

Usually all of them are the same when it comes with compatibility. I didn't encounter this issues because I use laptop and the Intel graphics card kicked in. Have u tried android emulator, from what I know they support the graphics cards

You made dual boot and installed on a partition? If that's the case, you need to format the partition to ext4. I've also mentioned this in the video.

Better contact Prime OS.. forums or so, because it should work
Windows has nothing to do with installing Prime OS. Maybe try disabling secure boot. If you have it

There is no "official installer" other than the ISO flashed on Rufus. If u mean the .exe for windows (that's not something "official") you can try it, but usually with Rufus is better

If u install it on a full HDD.. like instead of Windows the u install something over. If u install it on a partition, then u format that partition

what about remix os ?
What about OpenThos, LineageOS, Genymotion, KoPlayer.... There are alot out there.. and like I said in the video.. I select based on the popularity, and on most of the websites that I've checked, Remix wasn't in top 4.
Now before u say anything else.. remember that I've also said in the video "opinions may differ" and "I don't try to sell this as a fact" .. at the end of the day, everyone has it's favorite regards of what anyone else thinks.

you can't install drivers on android... which translates to.. hardware incompatibility

Call of duty will probably be supported on the new Prime OS 2.0 but if u see my latest video about PrimeOS 2.0 you'll understand that is not worth the upgrade yet. Better wait for the stable version

Low.. idk. It doesn't specify the minimum specs. I tried it on a 1st gen with 4gb ram and it worked. Others tried it on pentium and it worked.. so.. try it out
