Or maybe he was so unglued by Ben's last request that Alan swore he'd never let himself get embarassed again. So, he invented a time machine and waited for Ben to ask for something crazy. Then simply went back in time and got that item ready, exactly per his request.

The amount of schadenfreude I got from watching Ben's character finally get what he deserves is tremendous. Also, great to see Alan's character get a win every now and then. Another amazing short!

I hate this type of people. Worst thing is that even if you do have exacly the esoteric shit they are saying they are looking for they won't buy it. Never. Na ah. They need to think on it. After wasting an hour of your time. That's why at this point I always ask what price range they are interested in and point them to the dolar store around the corner with a pleasent smile.
as someone who works in a customer service role for a company that gives people free stuff and discounts when they complain about literally anything, this made me so happy to watch
Better to do that than have unsatisfied customers. I get free stuff by complaining all the time, helps when times are rough. Not everyone is a rich mansion owner.

As much as I love Ben as an actor, seeing his character lose was what was truly delightful for me here.
You guys, I'm CRYING! With each reveal of Alan stoically satisfying Ben's inane requests, I just laughed harder. Ben's excited yet defeated "yep, yep perfect!" was spot on. And then, as if giving me a bonus scene, you hit me with Ben pulling off Byron-like physical comedy in carrying out the human-sized mouse. Bravo, VLDL, a job well done as always. Thank you for constantly being a small joy in my week!

That is a massive box. That must have been pretty hard to make. Is it printed directly? Some sort of vinyl sticker? I am honestly more stunned by the prop than the fact that Alan finally got one over on Ben and his schemes. Seems like TechTown is a lot better prepared for dealing with Ben. Between their amazing range and Britt's ability to bleed on command. He may never get one over on them again.
