Dear club members and visitors! It is time for our monthly update! This month we want to test the new "8000hp" PRR Q2 even further for its power and speed. For the race and contestants, we picked N&W Class A, C&O Allegheny, Mikado, and the fantasy engine PRR FG-1 by K&L Trainz as requested by our viewer. Most of them were renowned powerful freight locomotives of North America, so you can say this video is about the Freight Kings' battles in North America. We hope you enjoy this drag race video! Gotta admit, that last one was just the boiler pressure ticking down to zero. You could not have kept that pace up with the 9,500 ton load. But, I have to admit it was impressive to see!

@@TheBroughamGamer In the "real" world, the Q2 had a much more powerful boiler than the Class A. I don't know why so many people think the Class A was a big engine, because when you look at their direct heating surface, which is really what counts in the ability to make steam, they were not that impressive. The Class A had 587 sq.ft., the Q2 had 725 sq.ft, the Allegheny had 762 sq.ft.
