I'll always remember the thrill of getting my first shoulder slot
I was ready to stand with the big boys now.
I started playing in 2005 and back then, WoW was filled with players who didn't have enough money to buy their mount at level 40. My friend told me not to worry about it because it was common not to be able to afford it until level 50 or so, but I was determined to get one when I turned 40. So I devoted all my efforts to 'playing the AH' a few hours a day and surely enough, I got my mount by the time I dinged 40. I felt like such a badass being a non-paladin, non-warlock class that still managed to get their first mount on my first character at the exact level I was supposed to get it.
The irony of all the hours I lost spent in the AH that, had I spent those hours on leveling would have pushed me well past level 40 didn't dawn on me until several years later. I basically became so tunnelvisioned on getting that mount that I basically forgot the play the actual game. To this day, I'm still not sure if it was worth it or not. Some days, I think so because I really felt like the bees knees riding around on my mount at level 40 but other days I think of all the hours I spent in the AH to make that money and I shudder at the thought of how much time I wasted there.

Holy shit yes, I started on WotLK and I lost it when I found my first equippable shoulders
This has got to be one of the most relatable things in the game ever. Without the shoulders you just felt like some newb who was on the journey to get the cool stuff too but then you get them and you're like "dude I look so fuckin cool now" haha well at least that's what I did when I got them and shouted it to my brother. That was the moment I felt like I was finally a badass in some way, armour plated from head to toe I was ready to kick ass lol.

lol well on PTR and Beta's they do have fun with schenanigans. Like spawning raid bosses to "test" them (screw with players) And they are the game's maker kindasorta.

I think it is because he is spending time with the wrong crowd. It always starts like this. A small chuckle, a tiny variation in tone. But before you know it you are injecting enthusiasm into your veins unable to stop. I think he needs an intervention. :(

As someone that played Barbarian up to act 3 on inferno, in original D3, I can confirm that shit was hard.
Full vitality/all-res tank builds would get 2-shot by regular mobs. In a game about slaying hundreds of demons...
With the expansion D3:RoS became a decent game I would argue, it just didn't have that special something to keep you playing. It was a boring Blizzard game.
D3 was the first red flag for surprisingly few people
d3 was a great game, it got really good once they fixed the few issues it had.
I wish I could like this video more than once.

I'm surprised there's a couple of incidents you missed out on (so far anyway): The epic Doomlord Kazzak kite into Stormwind is rather famous (while requiring Blizz to DOWN the server and hotfix), and I do recall one guild who held AQ40 hostage for at least a week or so, because they held the Staff of Ahn'Qiraj without using it that entire time.

I think your "monotone" voice is one of the reasons I love watching your videos. It's such a calm and inoffensive voice that I always enjoy hearing it.
I honestly think the player who sold her body for gold can't be faulted. Especially if she is happy about getting laid. If the social structure allowed for it, I bet a lot of guys would do it too. It's honestly a bit sad that anyone would be desperate enough to give away that much gold just to have sex. That's a lot of time commitment right there! But hey, if both parties are happy, who are we to blame?
Personally, I think his voice is pretty calming and fitting for the tone of these videos. Keep up the good work!

Yup, I was there for Diablo 3's launch, that's when I started to say things like "Hey Blizzard, your Activision is showing..." That combined with the cash shop at the end of Wrath was when I didn't think of Blizzard as the best developer anymore, they lost my respect.

My dad was Rahvinwulf number 2 for about a year. He eventually had to quit because it took to much of his time playing. All the time he used to get invited to raids and dungeons and all sorts if shit. If anyone has heard of him it would be cool to know. He played from 2006-2010. He was top from 2008-2010. He was warrior class.

if you ever do a part 5, you should include Griffin Mcelroy (aka Raandyy) who made the peacecraft series. He went around Azeroth kissing all the horde guys and got acknowledged by Blizz and they put an NPC named after him in the great gnome race event.
Blizzard used to be the shit back in the day man. They talked trash to their audience and hired nerds just like them to help and create wow. Remember that Jeff Keplan was hired because he trash talked about Everquest. Or Blizzard would hire players just because they where great ir did something great like making cinematics and stuff. You won´t see them doing that stuff these days.
