Black Townships in Oklahoma aired 8-23-13

In a pre-statehood Indian Territory, many African-Americans banded together to form towns free of racism and prejudice, places where their children didn't experience discrimination until they left town. Now many of these historic townships are dwindling, but their lessons carry on.
