After tackling her kitchen in the last video, I’m now taking on her bedroom-a shocking mess filled with years of dust, dirt, and clutter. With her struggling with asthma and heart issues, this hazardous environment needs a complete transformation. Oh my. This is one of the most intense rooms I’ve watched you clean. The thought of that lady in that room is so sad. You made it into a calming place for her to rest. I hope she gets the apartment sprayed soon. She also desperately needs a new bed. Great job on this one too!

I struggle with a huge MDD for decades. One thing I was never able to quit was shower and mop at least once a day. But I never ever judge those people. Last couple months I had a hard time trying to keep the house minimally cleaned and shower, I kept wearing the same clothing for one month, not even able to changing the sheets, barely washing my hair. Today, finally, I found some strength to vacuum, mop, change the sheets and take a decent shower.
Please, never judge anyone’s life conditions, everybody is struggling some way or another.
The world needs more Barbies (she is unique though), the world needs more help and empathy.

What a difference you have made for this woman. Her life is now so much better all because of you, I thank you! I've been meaning to tell you, there is a product you may want to look into for those old worn out floors that you clean in most of the apartments. It's a floor treatment by holloway house. You just mop it on after cleaning the floors and it renews the shine without making it slick. It's not very expensive either. Thank you once again for helping someone that really needed your help. :)

I will have to say I’ve never been to NYC and have wanted to visit but after seeing all the roaches and rats, I’m rethinking it. But my son is stationed in upstate NY now so I’ll be close on my visits to see his family. 🗽
You’re unlikely to see all the roaches as a tourist unless you stay in the shadiest hotels or visit the most unsanitary restaurants. Roaches are a fact of life in densely populated places but if residents and business owners keep up with meticulous cleaning and pest control, they are very manageable. I’ve only ever seen a massive infestation in one apartment complex I lived in, and it was poorly maintained and managed and many of the other residents didn’t do the most basic cleaning. It really has to be a group effort. Hotels have professional housekeeping and pest control - you are probably never going to see roaches like this if you visit New York unless you stay in a very poorly maintained apartment or hotel.
Hello Barbie. You did a wonderful job there (hence the way the room was). You did the most, but I hope that a mattress company would sponsor you so that you can provide these people with new mattresses. There were roaches crawling all over the mattress. I am a firm believer on the Combat roach killer. They actually do work. After you do the amazing work that you do, you should place the combat motels all over.
I wish I was 64 again, I was still energetic at that age; now at 75 I'm still doing yardwork and cleaning house I just have to take more breaks now. That bedroom was a MESS, you brought it back to livable. Good Job!

Excellent, as usual! I wonder if you could demonstrate how to fold a flat-bedsheet onto a mattress. My mother called it a 'hospital corner' and it very-neatly holds the sheet in place to the corner of the mattress with a simple folding technique that many viewers might not know. Thank you for all of the good you do, not only for the residents, but to understanding human problems rather than jumping toward negativity: judgement, blame, and shame. Blessings!

I am wondering how the windows with padlocks on them could be used to escape if there was a fire ? You cleaned the bedroom very nicely!
I'm not usually one for GFMs but can we buy her a dresser? So she has a bedside table and somewhere for her books, clothes, etc.
I’m not a GFM fan either but would love to see the bed replaced. At least a really good quality mattress pad that would isolate the yuck from her sleeping surface. I never see any cleaners using them.
I was thinking the same thing! She needs some organization furniture for all her medications, health care products, clothing, any books or magazines. She needs cord management for the TV and electronics, a safer power strip or surge protector. That is a fire hazard! I feel so sad knowing that the richest country in the world treats its people like this. America is very ill right now and needs a lot of TLC. ❤
