Hi Sandy, I was stationed at RAF Yatesbury just up the road from Avebury in 1960. Doing my NS. I bought a Triumph T110 (650cc) just before going into the RAF. I quite often rode up to Swindon on the week ends. Played Rugby for Calne. And I often rode over to Chippenham or Bath. A terrific area to be riding. Nice to see you out and about, interesting video. you and Dicky should come along to the Ride to the Wall event next year, there was thousands of bikes all riding from different locations, many ride up together.
Can Mark not get one of those dehumidifiers for his garage once he’s plugged the leak? I like bikes but don’t know much about them. Your new bike does sound classic though. Love Avebury. You’re so lucky to live relatively close to it. I once thought of swapping my flat for one in Swindon because it’s also close to Silbury Hill. I feel connected somehow to Silbury. But the only offers I got were from a huge high rise. I think it’s the only one in Swindon. Didn’t like the look of it so I’m staying in London for now. Anyway… waffle over. My bike is stored in a large open garage with large windows and vents. This last week the bike has been soaking wet from condensation as is the car. @@WiltshireMan He did Sandy yes. Lovely music.. try 'Five Leaves left' its a fantastic album.
Really like the new ride Sandy!
Thanks Bill, RE making some great bikes now
Looked like a great day Sandy. I got a Moto Guzzi V7 Special Edition a few weeks ago to add to the collection 😁 Only ridden it a couple of times due to snow here in N.Wales and bad health this week. It's quite compact and only weighs about 3kg more than my new 350 Bullet!!!
Thats a nice bike, I think I would like to ride of those:)
Nice to see you out and about, interesting video. you and Dicky should come along to the Ride to the Wall event next year, there was thousands of bikes all riding from different locations, many ride up together.
I'll have to check that one out Oz
Good on all of ya .i get out when I can. Wouldn't go out with that Colin though. He's a hooligan ! 😂😂😂
Hahaaa yes, Colin is a bit of a Hooligan I reckon:)
I might be a hooligan but they all still keep following me !!! 😊😊😊
😂😂😂
Can Mark not get one of those dehumidifiers for his garage once he’s plugged the leak? I like bikes but don’t know much about them. Your new bike does sound classic though. Love Avebury. You’re so lucky to live relatively close to it. I once thought of swapping my flat for one in Swindon because it’s also close to Silbury Hill. I feel connected somehow to Silbury. But the only offers I got were from a huge high rise. I think it’s the only one in Swindon. Didn’t like the look of it so I’m staying in London for now. Anyway… waffle over. Thanks for taking us with you and yer mates 🌞🍻
There are I think 5 or 6 high rises in Swindon, all on the council estates:) Dehumidifiers would certainly help but they cost a fortune to run!
nice one sandy
A electric fan is a great air circulation trick, it stops the condensation 👍🏍🇬🇧
Great ride out I enjoyed the music with you riding -Thank you -Looked like a good full English 👍👍
Can't beat a "Full English" James:)
@@WiltshireMan So true
When you're in a turn your tires actially have more contact with the ground.
Its diesel spillage youve got to watch, cant see them when its wet.
My bike is stored in a large open garage with large windows and vents. This last week the bike has been soaking wet from condensation as is the car. I have tried various covers to no effect, condensation still forms on the bike. I also have a steel bike box in the garage for the push bikes. The cycles are the only items which remain dry
Nice to see you to see you nice again Paul back out shown how to put aback pack on and putting your hands ✋️ on your hips I thought you were going to do the hippie hippie shake dance stay healthy one life enjoy blessed be
great vlog thanks for share
Sandy, what year is Collins bike?
Not sure, it is an Indian built bike. Possibly 1990
Hi there it's from 1994 and modified to be like a 1969 Trial's bike.
Hi sandy out of interest please why did you buy the interceptor? I thought the mighty storm was your go to bike for runs and touring whilst you have the hammy for winter work. Enjoy your videos thks
Great video as always Sandy. Thanks :0)
I've been meaning to ask for a while, what helmet are you wearing?
Its a Syncrony duo I believe, not very expensive. Not sure if they are still being made. It is quite a noisy helmet
@@WiltshireMan thanks for getting back to me Sandy I'll check it out.
Put a dehumidifier in your garage. Pretty cheap to buy.
What is the asifi sandy 🙄
Don't blame Dickie for going over to DJI. GoPro's was once the best. Not so any longer...
I think I shall go over to DJI one day too
You just didn't want any evidence of a second full English.... battery failed 😂
Hahaaa, Well the bikers worked up an appetite riding their motorbikes. We have an outline plan to go out on push bikes at some point. That will be fun to see:)
Its a nice bike, but you gents need a gang name and patches.
Do you guys ever link up intercoms ?
No, maybe one day
Tut tut tut it’s a round about not a through about😊
You guy's should have intercoms to talk to one another while riding.
