My girlfriends 2010 R56 Diesel manual (yea, yawn) just clocked 500,000 Km (310,000 mi) and still on the original clutch, pump, injectors, turbo. Blows my mind. A CEL came on at 400,000km and BMW Au had to email Germany to find out what the code meant. Ended up being some service thing. When they asked BMW why this code isn't listed they said no one ever expected anyone to actually go that far. 🤣 We're thinking it might just be the highest mileage R56 on the planet now.
Wow that's crazy!! I saw an R56 at 360,000 km but never anything past that! You have a gem! 😂

It certainly will! Already has quite a bit. Its just hard to find one.
I seen them going for 40k - 60k now
When we follow other Minis in the USA, we call it a "rally." And in the summers, we meet up with other Mini drivers and rally every week or two. It is quite an experience! Also, its time to review the GP3 vs. JCW!

Beautiful scenery too - where exactly in Canada are you? I ask cos my youngest son and his partner moved over to Whistler last August and have decided they want to stay as they love the lifestyle so much 🙂.

Amazing location and fantastic camera work. I actually prefer your car JCW Ethan. I don't like the rear of the GP2 with no wiper and it's spoiler.

What exhaust is on that GP2? You mentioned it was upgraded, did you mean factory upgraded or the owner swapped it? I find the F56 JCW has way more pops and bangs than a GP2, just curious if the one you tested was factory.

@@carcreationsyt ok, thanks. Might have to check it out. I love the 2016 F56 JCW, but barely hear anything on the GP in comparison…. (I have disabled ASD on the 2016, and it’s perfect that way)
I have two mini , the first mini jcwautomztic for every day and I have a gp2 r56 , gp2 is the best emotional 👌

Great comparison. You mentioned that the GP2 was more track focused, is it noticeably better than the JCW handling wise? I think the GP2 looks so bad a$$, just saying;)
Thanks!! The GP2 felt a lot more nimble around tight twisty corners. Probably due to better tires, coil overs, and being a smaller car. It would be a beast on the auto cross track!
