Easy solution: (for me at least) 1.) Chug water (or drink lots of water) 2.) Get a warm cup of water 3.) Sit over the toilet holding your water 4.) Pour the water on your private 5.) Do it as many times as you want 6.) Wait for your water to 'sit' 7.) Use the bathroom again (If this didn't work, keep repeating) This took me about an hour- 45min, but I swear it's worth it.
I used to have to do the same thing. I also have a shower head near the toilet and was using the noise at first because I would sit there for like two hours trying. Then I did a similar thing as you and just let the warm water run over the area until I peed.

I went to the hospital, and I had an infection. 👁👄👁 I take these pills or whatever and after a day or two I posted this comment my back hurt like hell🤦♀️. lmfaoo

For some odd reason I had huge difficulties urinating throughout the day, the sense to go but had to push down to get a stream of urine going...but, all of a sudden, while driving home from seeing my family after Christmas dinner, the urge was there but I could not hold my bladder and pissed my shorts. I couldn't believe it

@Angie Hall sorry I'm now seeing these I had this problem from since I was 8 and I went to this place and it helped me out, I no longer have the problem, however it did damage my kidneys, I'm currently 14 now BTW and I got it to stop when I was 13

Try aloe vera wild berry i had the same problem and it helped get rid of it . it helped my on my first drink but you should drink more to get rid of it . Eating unhealthy foods would not help.

My mom had a pelvic muscles surgery, she had a spinal anaesthesia, for 3 days her urinating schedule were normal, she still in process of her stitches dissolving on their own, doctors said that she can only laying down or walking, but not sitting. Know she goes to the bathroom very often, and even if bladder is empty she still has a need to urinate. Why is that ?
Check with a doctor, if that is not an option stay away from coffee drink alot of cranberry juice and water prune is a good substitute if you dont have cranberry juice. Those juices will up the acidity of your urine.
Sometimes if I strain to defecate, I feel like I have to urinate for a few minutes but then it goes away. Even though urinating during those few minutes relieves the sensation for a moment, it comes back and the cycle restarts. If I just hold it in, the feeling recedes. I normally sit on the toilet until it goes away in case I absolutely feel the need to let out a bit. Is this normal?
NEVER EVER strain during urination or a bowel movement, it should be a passive thing and all you are doing is further tightening the muscles causing a revolving door of symptoms.
My problem is I go pee, I feel fine. Then after a bit I get a bad urge to urinate and little to nothing comes and its super uncomfortable cause the urge is hard to ignore.

Hi I’m back at it with trouble urinating. So I’ve been having the urge to pee and nothing comes out but this usually happens to me at night which is really ruining my sleeping schedule. The pressure feeling is the reason why I’m unable to sleep at night. Oh and when I am able to pee, I get this small burn feeling. I don’t want to go to the urologist just for them to tell me that i am fine and there’s no type of uti or stone.

Best solution everyone this may or may not work but get your phone and watch a video it takes your mind off if it and relaxes ur bladder this is the best method that works for me.
If anyone else can relate im 18 male no uti but i have a pressure in my tip not a pressure thats painful but definitly irritating and it sometimes comes immediatly after peeing or within 30 minutes and its almost like as if my body is wanting to use the restroom every 20 minutes but i know that physically i dont have enough urine to go

Interstitial cystitis, pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary retention caused by certain meds, there can be MANY reasons why these symptoms occur - if you aren't sure and it is affecting your quality of life to the point where you have no life then it is time to make an appointment to see a urologist. In the mean time, as the video says.. avoid bladder irritants caffeine and alcohol and acidic foods and other fizzy carbonated drinks.

No urgency with me. But 3 months post-op Greenlight Laser surgery for BPH , I was peeing like a firehose. But beginning at month 3 post op I began to experience hesitancy. With a full or nearly full bladder the force behind that volume was sufficient to overcome the hesitancy, and I'd go pretty normally. Flow rate was normal but no longer like the firehose. But with less than, say, 3/4 full bladder I'd try to release my sphincter, and it would just keep clenching. After varying period of waiting I'd finally relax and the urine would flow. Not much retention, but now I'm doubting that. It's as if the urinary sphincter senses the urine waiting to exit, but clenches instead of releasing. I'm now in my 10th month post-op and the problem may be getting a little worse. Any ideas on the cause?
@@Sam-bd2zu ...now 2 1/2 years post op. Currently about the same as described, with varying periods without hesitancy. Strangely, I went off a mild SSRI med and the hesitancy returned. Generally while on the SSRI, I had very little hesitancy. In addition to the original, real BPH issue, I fear I may have muscle and/or signal issues. I say this because I coincidently have a diagnosed spastic anal sphincter. I'd wondered if I have MS or the like, but no other symptoms of it. Real problem, a doctor willing to listen, diagnose, and treat. They're all lazy bastards, imo.

Nathan Montgomery i find that if I am constipated it is difficult to urinate.. Some allergy meds also make it difficult for the urine to release. There is a specific ingredient that causes this, but I don't remember it right now. I got tested by my doctor too and he told me to switch allergy meds and it helped. Good luck!

Me too, My tip is to close your eyes for about 5-10 minutes until you feel a bit sleepy and you eventually fall asleep. Make sure to go to the bathroom and then do this right away. It helps when all the lights are closed and there's like a nightlight and you are comfortable.

Along with doctor's treatment you can do this mental therapy that proved to work. Just repeat mentally these 2 sentemces for 20min. 6-8 times daily. 1- Bladder is having dificulty to urinate 2- Bladder is not having dificculty to urinate. Repeat alternatively these 2 sentences for 20min 6 to 8 times daily After few days you will see gradually the problem being solved. It may take days or months to resolve fully, but i assure you it will be resolved. I tried this method on dyalisis patients and all of them started urinating. Just do it.

if u are unable to pee i will suggest go for a ultrasound as i was facing same problem..due to covid era i was unable to tell doc. my pain problem as i was not realising it also....he asked to go for ultrasound.... it came out to be APPENDIX problem.... it have same symptoms as UTI...or urethral stricture...u wont come to know because of little or no pain for 2-3 days... APPENDIX problem is quite serious and need to be removed ASAP...hence.. go for ultrasound of UTI medicine's are not giving relief...or do blood test may u live a healthy life....

I turned 39 yesterday and I have been having issues peeing for a couple of years now. I have to get up about 5 times a night and it feels like I have to go so bad. I get to the toilet and nothing wants to happen. I have to push as hard as I can to go and usually make a big mess. Super embarrassing. Do I need to go to the doctor? I've been using intermittent catheters for about 8 years. I did have chronic UTIs because I couldn't empty my bladder so all the stagnant pee just congealed in there. NOW - - No more UTIs. I used to leak after I peed. Now I only leak if I wait too long to catheter. and sometimes a little after I use the catheter. Many Many doctors (and some nurses) have checked my prostate. No problem there. MRIs , Sonogram/Ultrasound , Flow tests , Poop test , Other tests for nerve damage. So they have narrowed down the problem to mental or physical. They pretty much think I'm lying. The first time ever I used a catheter I peed almost a quart. The nurse was instructing me how to do it. I heard the Doctor from the office angry OHH , ALRIGHT , NEUROGENIC BLADDER ! I don't really care now what they think or say. I got relief. F..... em !

Alright this is for urgent womens who feels like going to the bathroom but cannot pee that much here's what you gotta do
1.Go to your bath tub and just lay on it you need to relax and not think maybe get your mind out of it
2 When you feel relax you can turn on your faucet to make you feel comfortable and just vibe to pee
3.When it comes out but only little you can start pressing your abdomen to below it makes you empty your bladder
You may do this this over and over again but your bladder can actually get used to it and just pee
I'm no professional but it did work for me if it doesn't work for you I'm sorry
Here's what I did and it got better:
First I tried not to be stressed try to do something not to think about it alot (bc I was stressed too)
Second drink alot of water so you can go pee more
Third When u gonna wipe don't use paper used warm water from bathtub like clean yourself there
(Btw this took me 2 hours to finally pee normal again, I hope I help u guys, I am still 13 and for those who are younger or older I hope everything goes well remember try not to be too stressed bc sometimes that effects it too, stay hydrated!

My mom had a pelvic muscles surgery, she had a spinal anaesthesia, for 3 days her urinating schedule were normal, she still in process of her stitches dissolving on their own, doctors said that she can only laying down or walking, but not sitting. Check with a doctor, if that is not an option stay away from coffee drink alot of cranberry juice and water prune is a good substitute if you dont have cranberry juice. Those juices will up the acidity of your urine.
Sometimes if I strain to defecate, I feel like I have to urinate for a few minutes but then it goes away. Even though urinating during those few minutes relieves the sensation for a moment, it comes back and the cycle restarts. If I just hold it in, the feeling recedes. I normally sit on the toilet until it goes away in case I absolutely feel the need to let out a bit. Is this normal?
NEVER EVER strain during urination or a bowel movement, it should be a passive thing and all you are doing is further tightening the muscles causing a revolving door of symptoms.
My problem is I go pee, I feel fine. Then after a bit I get a bad urge to urinate and little to nothing comes and its super uncomfortable cause the urge is hard to ignore.

Hi I’m back at it with trouble urinating. So I’ve been having the urge to pee and nothing comes out but this usually happens to me at night which is really ruining my sleeping schedule. Like idk if it’s just me that has the feeling that some urine is actually coming out, but nothing happens and you get this some sort of pressure feeling
The pressure feeling is the reason why I’m unable to sleep at night. Oh and when I am able to pee, I get this small burn feeling. I don’t want to go to the urologist just for them to tell me that i am fine and there’s no type of uti or stone.

No urgency with me. But 3 months post-op Greenlight Laser surgery for BPH , I was peeing like a firehose. But beginning at month 3 post op I began to experience hesitancy. With a full or nearly full bladder the force behind that volume was sufficient to overcome the hesitancy, and I'd go pretty normally. Flow rate was normal but no longer like the firehose. But with less than, say, 3/4 full bladder I'd try to release my sphincter, and it would just keep clenching. After varying period of waiting I'd finally relax and the urine would flow. Not much retention, but now I'm doubting that. It's as if the urinary sphincter senses the urine waiting to exit, but clenches instead of releasing. I'm now in my 10th month post-op and the problem may be getting a little worse. Any ideas on the cause?

@@Sam-bd2zu ...now 2 1/2 years post op. Currently about the same as described, with varying periods without hesitancy. Strangely, I went off a mild SSRI med and the hesitancy returned. Generally while on the SSRI, I had very little hesitancy. In addition to the original, real BPH issue, I fear I may have muscle and/or signal issues. I say this because I coincidently have a diagnosed spastic anal sphincter. I'd wondered if I have MS or the like, but no other symptoms of it. Real problem, a doctor willing to listen, diagnose, and treat. They're all lazy bastards, imo.

Nathan Montgomery i find that if I am constipated it is difficult to urinate.. Some allergy meds also make it difficult for the urine to release. There is a specific ingredient that causes this, but I don't remember it right now. I got tested by my doctor too and he told me to switch allergy meds and it helped. Good luck!

Me too, My tip is to close your eyes for about 5-10 minutes until you feel a bit sleepy and you eventually fall asleep. Make sure to go to the bathroom and then do this right away. It helps when all the lights are closed and there's like a nightlight and you are comfortable.

I literally wasn't able to urinate for about 40 minutes and then I searched on RUclips how to fix this problem. I was able to urinate after watching this video somehow.😅
Along with doctor's treatment you can do this mental therapy that proved to work. Just repeat mentally these 2 sentemces for 20min. 6-8 times daily.
1- Bladder is having dificulty to urinate
2- Bladder is not having dificculty to urinate.
Repeat alternatively these 2 sentences for 20min
6 to 8 times daily
After few days you will see gradually the problem being solved.
It may take days or months to resolve fully, but i assure you it will be resolved. I tried this method on dyalisis patients and all of them started urinating. Just do it.

I turned 39 yesterday and I have been having issues peeing for a couple of years now. I have to get up about 5 times a night and it feels like I have to go so bad. I've been using intermittent catheters for about 8 years. I did have chronic UTIs because I couldn't empty my bladder so all the stagnant pee just congealed in there. NOW - - No more UTIs. I used to leak after I peed. Now I only leak if I wait too long to catheter. and sometimes a little after I use the catheter.
Many Many doctors (and some nurses) have checked my prostate. No problem there. MRIs , Sonogram/Ultrasound , Flow tests , Poop test , Other tests for nerve damage.
So they have narrowed down the problem to mental or physical. They pretty much think I'm lying. The first time ever I used a catheter I peed almost a quart. The nurse was instructing me how to do it. I heard the Doctor from the office angry OHH , ALRIGHT , NEUROGENIC BLADDER !
I don't really care now what they think or say. I got relief. F..... em !

1.Make sure you don't have constipation issues ..
2.Try walking and doing simple abdomen exercises
3.When u have the urge to urine and urine doesn't come ,try to climb the steps..Even though u have very small steps ,try climbing up and down ..it would really help the urine to pass out ..

its been 4 months and im having this problem everytime i go to pee i need to stand for so much time then i start thinking other things and then i can pee slowly but it take 20-25 mins and sometimes retention happens im taking medicines from last 4 months but no relief

I went to the toilet and when I was gonna pee it hurt from the bottom like in the middle of where your but and your life giver is and that happened when I tried to drop the load
@KristiyanT I still have the pain I have described sometimes, I've figured out that there is something wrong with my organs, I think they're sticking out of there places, I can only lay down on my left side or it will feel like my organs are ripping apart slowly or pushing up against each other

See if you are constipated as that was the problem with me. Go to the doctor.

Try using aloe vera wild berry it helped me to get rid of it . Eating unhealthy will not help.try using natural remedies
