“I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2016. However, despite not being able to walk for a few weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and try to practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…we are all specks of dust…Also thank you for all your support. It means a lot. I have suffered from anxiety from the past and self confidence, (yeah hard to see now right) didn’t think I was ‘good, or worthy enough’ but I feel I have a new lease of life, don’t really care as much and want to show you guys what I have! : ) You are all awesome and without you, there would be no channel.
Just listening to them sing, I forget they were young kids in costume after awhile. I actually felt the harmony and emotion of their singing come out naturally (as for those who have listened to the young trio long enough) which was extraordinary. As many may already know, it's all part of the show to highlight youthful talent in nostalgic musical renditions of popular singers at random. Though the costume, make-up and nuances were charming, it was the music that shone through. An awesome talented group!
They were so amazing. It's not an easy song to sing and they're so young and they killed it. Crazy!

Watch the original video where they copied it from...you'll see the one with glasses macky...is doing everything intentionally to copy the original performer of that vid. Keifer's part tho was almost like a matured man..that's why the judges went gaga on hat part ...."although the sun will never shine I'd still...I'll always look for a brighter day." Deep Tone so tough for a little boy voice.that's what amaze us most here especially Nyoy volante(the judge who roar up on that part)

Hero! In Russian version of "Your voice sounds familiar", Alexander Rybak performed that song (he won Eurovision representing Norway in 2009), if you/anyone is interested, all his performances are on his channel. He is a chameleon too.
its hilarious given their comedic chatacter.and was given a big song with very low register for the boys. i thank you for really analyzing their Voices on diff registers while knowing these kids naturally has high registers. since puberty hasnt hit their Voices. yet.

Little Mix is a British girl group formed on ‘The X-Factor’ in 2011. They all started as solo artists and were paired together by judge at the time Kelly Rowland. They won that year and are a big deal in the UK and other countries. They have 5 albums and are currently in the studio working on another one. Their current album is Glory Days and their newest single is ‘Only You’ ft. Cheat Codes. Perrie Edwards is the youngest of the four. She has blonde hair and blue eyes and is 24 years old. Jade thirlwall has black hair at the moment but her natural color is light brown. And she has more tanned skinned than Perrie. She is 25 years of age with light brown eyes. Next is Leigh-Anne Pinnock with dark skin and dark brown eyes as well. She’s 26 with black hair. Jesy Nelson just recently celebrated her birthday and she is now 27 years of age with red hair that’s died but she’s naturally brunette and she is of a lighter skin. Her eyes are green. Wow, this was fast. I just saw this hours ago! :) The song is Hero by Enrique Iglesias, BTW.
About this performance, they were great, as usual. It's not one of their best, though, IMHO. I won't be surprised if they win this one, though, even if we haven't seen the other performances yet. About the artist choice, I think this was a bit wrong in the sense that the competitors are supposed to perform ONE artist. The TNT Boys were given TWO artists -- Mariah and BoyzIIMen. Yes, they performed ONE song, but it's still two music icons.
Now, with regards to doing "black face", because someone mentioned about it in the comments. I would very much understand the reaction, in a normal situation. But in this show, they copy EVERYONE (honestly, even celebrities who are not even proven music icons, I don't know why). So they do "white face", "yellow face", even "brown face". It depends on who the kids are supposed to imitate. Maybe if it were an alien or a hairy monster icon, they'd also do an 'alien face" or "Chewbacca face"...Just explainin'. That's why the show's title is YOUR FACE Sounds Familiar. The concept is to copy EVERYTHING about the icons. If it's just a sing-alike competition, then it would be just like any other singing competition. Also, if a person finds this offensive, then I'm hazarding a guess that s/he hasn't seen other performances yet.
Thanks for the response, Penelope. Well, I am not sure about the motivation behind the comment, so I am just guessing s/he probably just hasn't seen any other YFSF performance yet. I can understand the reaction because many find "black face" offensive (as probably is often the case). It has to do with the concept of cultural appropriation. It's a complicated issue. But anyway, to make it short, those of us who appreciated this performance know there was no racism going on here.
