Peak 90s masterpiece-a pull-the-car-over-and-cry song. The contrast with B2M really highlights how beautiful and crystalline her voice is, and the harmonies are perfect.
I was surprised no one mentioned the emotional power of the song. Wow! That song really connects you to the hope that you will see your loved ones again some perfect day.

@Dedrian Bridgett You are absolutely correct. Clapton wrote the song after the 1991 accidental death of his four year old son, Conor. It’s hauntingly beautiful and the lyrics are comforting to those of us who have also lost a child... 🦋
This one is a classic and it really hits you when you've experienced personal grief too. Our time is short, don't put off love, forgiveness, anything you need to say to your loved ones. Cherish them because one day they won't be here anymore. Anyway, this one is one of the top songs of the 90's and it chokes me up, especially now since I lost my daddy over two years ago. Great reaction!
This song just gets me in my feelers every single time. The greatest voices in this song. Gives me chills and tears every time. I’m so glad you are hearing this song.
This song always touches my heart. Mariah wrote it for her sister who passed away and the depth of emotion in it always reminds me of loss. We all have people we love and all have known some for of loss. I just find it such a universal song of love and mourning but also faith and hope (Mariah's brand) ❤🤍❤
Thank you for doing this one - it's a stone-cold classic. On the next listen, focus on the lyrics. It'll help you keep the memory alive of anyone you've lost, or just help you during a loss. Brings tears to my eyes every time.
I’m loving that ya’ll loving the music from my era. This is what real music is supposed to sound like .. good for you heart and soul. Enjoy your ride of discovery..
Nice reaction. I think Mariah’s vocal range is 5 octaves! If you want to switch genres and have a song that can rip your heart out - Vince Gill - Go Rest High on that Mountain!
Moon Pie , you’re so right. Vince Gill - Go Rest High on that Mountain is indescribably beautiful. I can never listen to it just once: I have to loop it two or three times.

This song always makes me cry. 😢
You are definitely not alone! Gets me everytime!! Those voices, those lyrics--beautiful!!
I was in high school in the 90s when I heard this song still today I still say 2 my all time favorites Mariah and Boyz II men this song pure perfection. I remember this was breaking the record for the longest song at number 1 also.
The emotions this song brings up, not just their voices but the words, it is absolutely beautiful.
I MADE A MISTAKE! Decided to watch this on a work break and forgot how much of a killer this song is. Pull it together eyes, no need to cry at work.
Yeah sometimes there’s just nothin to say when a song and vocals are just so perfect it speaks for itself 💕
Love this song! Gives me chills thinking of all the loved ones gone too soon... Thanks for reminding me how much I loved this song! Good job guys!
I just wanted to say that me and my wife love you guys, wer'e stuck at home in lockdown here in Israel, and you just make the tine pass much better, you make us laugh.
We have our wedding anniversary next week and it would be cool if you react to one of these:
Where did you sleep last night - Nirvana unplugeed
Release - Pearl jam
Love is stronger than death -The the.
Good vibes and good health to all.
The The !! Great idea! That song is AMAZING.
♥️
If i could like Jake Chen's comment a million times I would. Congrats and I hope your anniversary was all you both expected and wanted.
16 weeks at #1 and it was just...phenomenal. They all wrote their parts and came up with a hell of a song!
I love the video too bc it was perfect for it
If you want a tear jerker, listen to Eric Clapton - Tears In Heaven. Gets me every time. I believe he wrote it for his son that he lost.
@Dedrian Bridgett You are absolutely correct. Clapton wrote the song after the 1991 accidental death of his four year old son, Conor. It’s hauntingly beautiful and the lyrics are comforting to those of us who have also lost a child... 🦋
AMEN! And yes that is exactly right
I love how these guys react to everything, old jamz and even songs nowadays. I love seeing yall appreciating 90's hitz
Toni Braxton- Unbreak my heart

You still havent heard Mariah full range, the song Someday will blow you away
With NO autotune!!! THIS is talent.
Next Women on Wednesday - Minnie Ripperton. Loving You - iconic voice and song
I love how she says her daughter’s name at the end of the song, so sweet.
And that daughter is Maya Rudolph! Legends on legends
I know I'm one of many who wanted you to listen to this - now you know why. Y'all put it best, two GOAT'S on the same super recording. Thanks!!
I just lost my papa on Christmas eve 2018, and this song always brings tears. I know one sweet day, I'll be with him, my mama and my brother ❤🙏
Yes you will, and its gonna be so beautiful to see them again!!❤️♥️
@@tyrarenae3486 thank you Tyra so much. Yep, it's going to be so wonderful to see them again ❤
Mariah Carey's vocals are amazing check those high notes out 🙌🏾 she's very blessed
ANOTHER hit that hit more than your heart!!!
Try "what you won't do for love" by Bobby Caldwell
Yes!

This and diddy, & faith evans I’ll Be Missing You is definitely a tear jerker for me!!!!

YES!!! Been waiting for this one! Y’all my favorite!!!
They played this song on the radio a million times a day. Love it!
This song just gets me in my feelers every single time. The greatest voices in this song. Gives me chills and tears every time. I’m so glad you are hearing this song.
Amazing the emotions this song has decades later!✌💙🎵
This song always touches my heart. Mariah wrote it for her sister who passed away and the depth of emotion in it always reminds me of loss. We all have people we love and all have known some for of loss. I just find it such a universal song of love and mourning but also faith and hope (Mariah's brand) ❤🤍❤
Mariah Carey's sister is still alive. She only has one sister and one brother. Both living.
No, she wrote it for her producer.
Did you just make that up? Pretty much all of that is false.
@@andybardo7489 Agreed Andy!
I heard this too.
😭😭😭 Damnit....this takes me back to so much heartache 💔... I love you boys. Thank you for appreciating the music of this old woman's past.
.Bone Thugs n Harmony - Crossroads.
Yes please!!!
Breakdown - Mariah AND Bone Thugs!
@@brynneholt1990 I think that is one of my favorite Mariah song's, underrated in my opinion.
Bone! Bone! Bone! Bone!
Absolutely. I ruined my cassette tape single of that song in my car I played it so much!
Just watched about a million of your videos of songs I already know, this is the first one I'm experiencing for the first time w yall
Thank you guys for reacting to this song.
It’s an all time favorite for a lot of us. Appreciate you!
Thank you for doing this one - it's a stone-cold classic. On the next listen, focus on the lyrics. It'll help you keep the memory alive of anyone you've lost, or just help you during a loss. Brings tears to my eyes every time.
This song was played at MANY Funerals..timeless classic...Love Reaction
I’m loving that ya’ll loving the music from my era. This is what real music is supposed to sound like .. good for you heart and soul. Enjoy your ride of discovery..
Nice reaction. I think Mariah’s vocal range is 5 octaves!
If you want to switch genres and have a song that can rip your heart out - Vince Gill - Go Rest High on that Mountain!
Moon Pie , you’re so right. Vince Gill - Go Rest High on that Mountain is indescribably beautiful. I can never listen to it just once: I have to loop it two or three times.
💔💔💔me too......
They straight murdered the vocals on this song! The harmonies and the vocals on this song are unmatched! 💯 Who can top this? It’s hard to do, for sure!
Your expressions are worth a thousand words! 💜 your reactions!
In terms of vocal gymnastic & harmony, I dont think any song could top this. This is a masterpiece that comes every 30 or 40 years
