    I grew so much spiritually from watching Heather for years online. Thanks babe💜💜
    I learned 3 things from this podcast:
    1. Christians are not perfect.
    2. Follow Jesus's calling, not man's.
    3. Mind your own relationship with God. While you work with yours hands.

    I do want to make it known that not ALL church culture is completely broken or slanderous. Sadly, that comes when people do not fully surrender to Christ and His Identity. No way can you take on the identity of Christ and have a heart of trash. I understand that this is a personal experience but I’ve heard it sooo much. And I want people to know the church ain’t all messed up now. God got some people that are serving and living well in the church! I pray that God may continue to keep and bless the Lindsey Family. Blessings.

      I totally agree

    • @valerieventura1437
      @valerieventura1437 3 года назад +7

      Agreed , they have a right to feel their pain and disappointment from members but still as Christians they should have guarded the hearts of new comers. And let it known that it’s still important to congregate and tithe.
      I feel a lot of people will take the video out of context to not go to church or donate/give.

    People truly do not know what goes into ministry, the cost of the mantle and the attacks from the enemy and “know it’s all”. Can wait to see what God has for you two in the future.

    • @naomii8153
      @naomii8153 3 года назад +24

      Yes , it is a heavy mantle. This is why the people who are truly called to be a pastor and ministry, will have God's strength to carry out the mission. God will fulfill His purpose through your life. However, if someone is walking in a ministry that God truly did not call them to be in, there are situations like this that occur, where down the road, it gets too heavy and you don't have God's grace to carry you through it. God will only give you the grace, through the Holy Spirit, for the mission that He called you to do. ( this is no shade to the Lindsey's)

    It’s sad to see them get so much hate. I understand people are not perfect, because we are not Jesus!! But let’s remember all of the good they’ve done. I discovered Heather about 4 years ago, and watching her videos helped me get out of a bad relationship where I would have ended up miserable. He wanted to marry me, and people told me that he was “the best I could do”. Listening to Heathers teachings gave me the strength to do what was right, and listen to that voice telling me he was not the one!! I believe God was telling me all along to leave, but I couldn’t get myself to do it. In that time I got so much closer to God, I took a year off to focus on singleness and seeking Jesus. 🤍 I am now very happily married to an incredible man who loves me and loves God! Praise God!! And thank you Heather for your faithfulness. May God bless you two in this next season, don’t give up. 🤍

Now I am mobile and global and I still flow with God and rock with God and minister but in a kingdom way and with much freedom than being bound to one location and etc.. I could see Cornelius shifting to a kingdom mindset and BOOM this is Right on time!!!!! Yasssssss!!!! Glory!!!!!

    You both are pure in heart. Ministry is NOT EASY! It’s so easy for people to try and shame, humiliate, slander, tear their leaders, their pastors and each other down. If you are not in ministry or a position of leadership you have NO idea (I’m just gonna leave that right there). I know for a fact that you all are doing right, because the enemy is busy and mad! They did this to Jesus. I love y’all, not because you’re Cornelius and Heather, but because you are my brother and sister in the Lord. I stand with you all. Keep being bold, pure, and sold out for Jesus! They cannot curse what God has already blessed. The enemy has been DEFEATED in Jesus name.

    It was so beautiful hearing Heather say that there was no pressure from her hubby for her to conform to what a First Lady is supposed to look like. Brother Cornelius just wanted to offer this word of encouragement to you - remember even Jesus needed to be alone with His Father so enjoy just letting the Lord love you in this time and His love will propel you to where He needs you to go next. I don't know exactly what your current situation is but one thing I know and one of life's greatest comfort is to know that God sees all no matter what jam the enemy may throw us in and no matter the tongue of the evil. The Lord always leads us in triumph and the Lord vindicates us so we can truly rest in the Lord. The battle is always the Lord's. God bless you both.

      Lol! People got saved and I met some of the most AMAZING people on this planet. I’m still very close to a lot of the members. :) Now, I wasn’t a pastor so my husband would have to share his side.

    Pastors are needed. Pastoring is not easy at all and very painful but Gods people are precious and true shepards are needed. There is the good and the bad but Pastors are needed. The culture is out of order but I believe it's possible to shepard outside of this world's church culture

      Anything worth something is painful and difficult!! Look at Christ's ministry. Look at Moses!! They were used and abused by so many!! But they saw the greater purpose and kept pressing in the pain!!

    I'm grateful that God lead my Pastors to speak on Inner Healing and Deliverance. Bitterness, unforgiveness, and rejection, just to name a few. The body of Christ fails to realize that if we first, don't recognize that we have that problem. Secondly, repent and ask God for forgiveness and thirdly, put in the work to actually change our ways. These things hinder our growth in Christ. Some of us may have all the spiritual gifts God created. However, He will not allow us to tap into them until we mature spiritually and submit to His authority; His will, His ways, His Son Jesus Christ. I'm only speaking from experience.
    On happier note, I appreciate you both and your authenticity and vulnerability. I pray that you and your family prosper on your next journey. I'm excited for you two!!
    Blessings! 😊

    Because my parents are pastors, this is personal.It’s been 22 years. It’s scary how only one person gets called but the entire family has to support the ministry. It’s hard. On pastors, and the family.
    From counselling families, to giving, and sacrificing for the church - people never appreciate this. It’s as if the church expects the pastor to carry the entire congregation. With what? How ? This isn’t just for anybody.
    May God remember those he anointed and appointed.

      Many are called but few are chosen... when you are chosen, just like Israel GOD remembers them and provides for them. There are miracles that happen and JESUS” is with you - the HOLY GHOST is with you wherever you go.

    This is so sad because Pastors are human like the rest of us. I have been in Christ for close to 11 years and I have experienced the whole clique thing. The hardness of acceptance if you are not in certain circles and if you don’t have certain gifts and talents. I cleaned my church and I loved serving God in this way, some may of thought I was not worth anything because of it but I know my Daddy adores me and I am his princess. At the end of the day we are called to love people and this is what I vow to do. I do not care who you know or what you can do. I have felt isolated in the place I should have felt the most love but I know there are so many people who experience this. I am so sorry for all you have been through. I thankful for this type of transparency; it’s definitely healing.

    Cornelius heart is so big thats why he guards it ( introvert) I can relate. Both of them listening to God and doing what the Lord told them to do allowed them to help me with my walk. Heather pulled me out of one of the toughest times of my life by showing me how to lean on Jesus. Thank you both. Nothing but blessings for you, your future and family. Keep shining.
