yea, as i read a bit of shonen manga and stuff, 0 group is like those secret group that's the strongest among all numbered group.
In a building we only count the floors, gen 0 is the base of the entire thing, the pillars and the literal floor that holds the rest.
In Japan the ground floor is numbered #1 though, they don't have a "0" floor.

@@Sachin1671 yeah. Sora, Suisei, Roboco and Azki established the idol aspect, thanks to them a lot of the members are excelent singers and dancers. And Miko was the spark thar ignited the flame, her GTAV memes made Hololive popular in the west.

0 gen is probably the one that I would most like to see a musical collab, it has 3 of the best singers in Hololive which are Sora, Suisei and Azki and also Roboko who has a very beautiful voice and to complete the group there is Miko with the specialty of being a comedian to not let the group be full Seiso (Suisei is not so Seiso but if she was only with the other 3 that she doesn't have so much contact with she would hardly be as comfortable as she is when Miko is present)

For me, the name "Zero gen" was never meant to be nothingness. Each of them came from their own projects. They where the pioneers that dreamed and fought alone when no one knew what to do. Without their effort there would be no Hololive. So... For me, the name "Zero gen" always meant "Origin".

The 0rigin works well i thing, Sora and Roboco is first 2 member of holopro before they adapt the gen concept, AZKi and Sui chan also first 2 member of innk music and Miko from sakura miko project, they are from the earliest stage of each project

I have so much respect for the 0th Gen. I am a One Piece fan, and if I were like to compare them, they are like the characters such as Shanks, the pirate king Roger, Whitebeard. Oth Gen is just legendary. They are like literal pillars, and it kinda sound badass too ngl.
They are the seeds of Hololive. Yagoo can't shape his dream as we see today without them.

Petition to change name of Hololive Gen 0 to "HolOrigin"
Doesn't really work imo. 3 of them weren't even part of original Hololive Project. While Miko and AZKi was under Cover, they both debuted under Sakura Miko Project and Inonaka Music (now part of Hololive Idol Project) respectively. Suisei was also initially an independent and joined Inonaka Music in between Gen 2 and Gen 3

Gen 0 had always meant the beginning for me and a lot of other fans--the Origins, if you will. It probably bothered Sora as Gen 0, in the company's context, is meant to refer to them as solo live streamers, as someone who do not belong to any group/generation.
