Sagolikt! Både melody, texten, sångerskan, hennes röst och framträdande. Så vackert! Fabulous! Both the melody, the lyrics, the singer, her voice and performance. So beautiful!
For some reason the flute in the beginning made me think of the theme song for the movie Mio min Mio/Mio in the land Faraway. Gemini - Mio min Mio (written by Benny and Björn from ABBA) That movie and the song is definitively a classic for any Swedish child of the 80's. The movie is based on a book from Astrid Lindgren.
This is one of the most nostalgic song I can think of. Holy shit it's been a long time since I heard it. I'm glad you reacted to it so I can re-live my childhood for a few minutes.
This song always gets me looking for those darn onion-chopping ninjas. Beautiful, romantic piece and a good song to react to, as well as a good reaction with insightful comments as always. :)
Yes, Peter Grönvall made the song and I believe he was the producer too, but the text was from his wife Nanne Grönvall, also a member of One More Time and she made a fabulous song called "Avundsjuk", making fun of our national fault and raising hell singing it. It hit too close to home to a lot of people, I think. Try that! Avundsjuk by Nanne Grönvall.
Jonathan Rollins for Ambassadeur :-D
Sa ju igår att den låten är vacker 😀 En grupp som jag missat att tipsa om (shame on me) är Drängarna, som hade flera hits på 90-talet bl.a "Om du vill bli min fru" och "Dansa och festa"
When this song came out I was still a kid and I was sure this was a song about a woman and his man. But today I'm a father and I'm 100% sure this is a song between a parent and his/her daughter/son..
When he spoke about ”robbery” I think he was talking about Johansen stealing the victory from Vennersten, since he beat her with so few points in Mello. Like, he wants to see if Johansen was worthy of the victory or not. Not about similarities in the song :)
@@musicfromakido I got that. I wasn't being defensive or anything. Just saying it's a matter of preference, they are very different songs and yet there's something similar between them when you consider the lyrics.
@@JonathanRollinssthlm305 Of course it does! It is in the middle of the night, just before dawn, and it may be in february, on a cold winter night when the owls start hooting and courting. You can see the stars and the full winter moon, and something just passed in front of the moon, and then you hear the owl, and you look at your beloved sleeping, and your heart just explodes, but oh so softly, and you sit in silent bliss. Sorry, just got carried away! :D
And now to something completely different. Try Båtlåt with Robert Broberg. I sang it for another American Marine, he had been in Kuwait, and then came to Sweden and married a Swedish woman. And when I was half way through it he went like - Is this a song about boats making LOVE??? Yes it is. Robert Broberg was a word twister and word player. He also made some great songs. And if you would listen to a Swedish classic without lyrics, try Visa från Utanmyra from the album Jazz på svenska with Jan Johansson on piano and Georg Riedel on bass. Is is a hauntingly beautiful Swedish folk song spiced with jazz. It sounds crazy, I know, but try it, I say, try it. Jazz på svenska is the most sold Swedish Jazz record ever! Fun fact: Until his early death, Jan Johansson made the music to some Astrid Lindgren films, and then George Riedel did some, especially the Pippi Långstrump films and Emil films. And both the Pippi and the Emil films were partly sponsored by German companies so there were German actors who spoke German in it, and, considering that Georg Riedel along with his parents was one of the German jews that managed to slip out of Germany before it was too late, it is a bit, I don't know, odd, strange, or something. Too few, to our eternal shame, since most countries would not have "the dirty jews". There, I did it again, pouring out worthless knowledge that fascinates me without having any idea if the receipient is interested or not. Oh, well!
I love CV but the video is usless , you¨ve got to see her pretty face to embrace that song in full. Howevever, "Se på mig " was a worthy winner that year.
Alltid inom mig. Always in my mind. Med arr av Dan Hylander. / Tomas
"Det vackraste" och "Se på mig" är båda bland de största hitlåtarna från melodifestivalen någonsin. "Det vackraste" låg etta i sju veckor på singellistan som du nämnde och "Se på mig" låg etta i nio veckor. De råkade bara tävla samma år. "Det vackraste" hade antagligen vunnit nästan vilket annat år som helst.
Depending on your accent, you naturally say "det är med" as either "de e me" or "dä ä mä". So you've definitely got the right idea. And in Church of Sweden (Lutheran) we don't go crazy with our vocals. We kinda want everyone to be able to sing along.
It is a beautiful song but I really think it would benefit from slowing down and being sung by someone with a soulful voice. If you don't believe me, play it again on .75 speed...

Mauro Scocco -Till dom ensamma
lol
This song is one of the most requested at weddings but also children’s baptism
For some reason the flute in the beginning made me think of the theme song for the movie Mio min Mio/Mio in the land Faraway.

Indeed. The intro seems to have a mixolydian tonality. Also comparable to Highland, chord wise.
This is one of the most nostalgic song I can think of. Holy shit it's been a long time since I heard it. I'm glad you reacted to it so I can re-live my childhood for a few minutes.
I was only 4 years old when this song came out, but I actually remember it. 🥰🥰🥰
This song always gets me looking for those darn onion-chopping ninjas. Beautiful, romantic piece and a good song to react to, as well as a good reaction with insightful comments as always. :)
Written by Peter Grönvall (son of ABBA member Benny Andersson). An even better one of his is: "Highland" by the group "One More Time". A real banger!
Eller "Den vilda" med One More Time!
Yes, Peter Grönvall made the song and I believe he was the producer too, but the text was from his wife Nanne Grönvall, also a member of One More Time and she made a fabulous song called "Avundsjuk", making fun of our national fault and raising hell singing it. Thank you so much for the kind words!
I really love this song. We had it at our wedding ceremony.
We did too. Didn't help though. We are divorced. Still friends, though.
You should react to the song "Älska mig" performed by Ainbusk.
Va, nej!

Looking forward to Kapten Röd, I have him on my playlist all year, but especially during spring/summer cause of the vibes.
You're right about the "t" in "det", we don't usually pronounce it unless we're mad, or we are trying to emphasize "det".

The intro give me Vangelis and "ett med naturen" vibes. Maybe that explains the owl hooting lol :)

Yeah put "se på mig" by Johansen on your list! Not a robbery! They are... similar but different, I wonder if you'll like his voice or not.
When he spoke about ”robbery” I think he was talking about Johansen stealing the victory from Vennersten, since he beat her with so few points in Mello. Like, he wants to see if Johansen was worthy of the victory or not. Not about similarities in the song :)

Probably the most beatiful song made in swedish
I think this is actually written as a love song from parent to child, which makes it pretty special. "Att älskas utav dig är det vackraste för mig"...
Nope, I think Nanne Grönvall was thinking of Peter when she wrote the lyrics.
I personally don't think of a child but each one's interpretation I guess.
Lugna favoriter älskar denna låt hahaha
I want ro se a reaction to "Sing hallelujah!" by Dr. Alban ❤️
I absolutely love this song.
You should also react to Jan Malmsjö - Vår Bästa Tid Är Nu :)

One More Time - Den vilda,(som är bandet som skrev det vackraste) är ju en klassiker med.
The name of the Kapten Röd song is slightly shorter, just "Ju mer dom spottar".
Vad med Millas Mirakel's "Rytmen Av Ett Regn"..
about time to make song requesting a patron exclusivity? or request by Swish. you have earned it by now
