I have NF1 and have just been diagnosed with acute closed angle glaucoma and have lost most of the vision in my left eye. The right eye isnt at the stage yet where drops and surgery is required, but as a precaution, i am due to have laser treatment on both eyes, and the surgery on tje left eye to try and salvage what vision remains. Im in the UK and feel so lucky to have the NHS, I would never have been able to afford treatment otherwise.
I have NF1 and have lisch nodules My vision has gotten worse I also have pain mostly in my left eye. But since I am an adult and live in a state with no NF there is nothing I can do It sucks to be an adult with NF. I have no options for care as I do not travel. It feels like I have something on the side of my face at times. I havd detached retina surgery and cataract surgeries and still do not see well
