I think my favorite thing about Ed, Edd n Eddy is that the show doesn't try ridiculously hard to be funny. It just adds stupid and often unfitting sound effects (and I mean that in the most positive way possible) to make what would normally be an unfunny scene into a hilarious one. It also makes already funny scenes even more histarical. This is honestly what makes it one of my favorite cartoons from childhood.

Every generation says this about the next generation. A lot of the 90’s kids thought 2000’s television was terrible compared to stuff like Dexter’s Lab, Animaniacs, early Simpsons, Gargoyles, etc.
What happens is each generation remembers their good shows and forgets all the other terrible ones. Like the 10’s had Pig Goat Banana Cricket, Breadwinners, Mighty B, etc. While you’re not thinking about current shows like Gravity Falls, Over The Garden Wall, Adventure Time, Venture Bros, etc. Which today’s kids will compare to whatever is on air in the 2020s so they can say it’s garbage.

It’s a place to make memories eating cereal on a Saturday morning, or rushing home from school to watch TV and play video games. I especially remember waking up early to watch sonic x, dbz kai, yugioh, Naruto, etc.

I think it was either Australia or UK that has more DVD Seasons, but yeah it’s still impossible to get the entire series. Cartoon Network and Warner always including now have had this habit of not putting out the DVDs and Blu-rays while the series is relevant. Like if you wait till the series is cancelled or loses its viewers, you just want to tell them well don’t go crying if your disc sales are not there. Basically those DVDs should have been made sooner. I prefer Blu-ray but I just want to at least say I own the entire Ed, Edd n Eddy series. They didn’t even put the movie on DVD and Blu-ray.
The basic seasons are available on Itunes, though unfortunately the specials are not.
They actually did. I got the final copy of it on EBay. The whole series plus the movie in a 3 disc Blu-ray set

Honestly aside from the fact that this show breaks the laws of reality and physics constantly, the premise was exactly what it was like growing up in the 90s-2000s as a kid. All the neighborhood kids playing outside, parents didn’t care where we were, you had the weirdos like Johnny, the bullies like Kevin, the weird but lovable foreign kids like Rolf, the kids tryna make a quick buck like the Ed’s, the boy who only hung out with girls, the spoiled little brats, the cool flirty girls, and that’s how every day was in the summer. The older you get the more you miss being a kid and the older I get the more I think “why was I in such a rush to grow up?” I really am happy I got to grow up in my most formative years without social media and iPhones and tablets, back when kids were kids and every day was a blessing.
The way there voices match the character. Genius
This show was like a fever dream honestly, if you grew up watching this, i just know you turned out depressed or really happy, no in between
