@e46_ggg I passed my ADI to be an Instructor. Not Learner test. I have been driving HGV and coaches since I was 21 years old. I passed my car and motorbike tests in 1977 when I was 17 years old. I just wanted to see if I could pass the 3 ADI tests at my age. Which I passed all 3 parts first time
@chrisbaker congratulations! My former instructor (former because I passed, not because I went to someone else!) just passed her part 3 and it sounds really tough.
I sat my Practical Driving Test this morning at 11:20am and I passed with 5 minor faults. my manoeuvre was pulling up on the right. i passed theory and practical 1st time. It’s been one of the toughest things I’ve ever done I have almost given up after bad mock test results but stuck with it. I started in February and passed November I’m happy I did it in less than a year.
I'm over the moon for you, I know exactly how you feel about it being the toughest thing you've ever done, I have my mock Wednesday and if I pass that then I'm going to sit my test the following Tuesday 😮 hope your enjoying your new found freedom lovely 🎉🎉
I just passed my driving test today with 7 minors. I didn't have lessons with a driving instructor, just practised with family. These videos really helped a lot, thank you 🎉
I have been driving for over 50 years and she certainly drives nothing like me. Never had a speeding fine or never lost my driver's license thanks to God( Jesus Christ).
She just needs a proper, qualified teacher. Not sure what issues she's had with an instructor like she says but learning solely from someone that has a licence isn't the right way to do it.
She can drive and handle the car but it’s like Pin says, she’s already picked up a lot of bad habits that her husband and father have. She badly needs a professional instructor to iron out the bad habits. She’ll that been fine.
Yeah, the instructor teaches you how to pass the test, family members teach you how to drive. Probably best to start with instructor so the routine of mirror checks becomes your foundation to build on.
I’ve watched a lot of your videos and other channels and must admit - yours is the best ! passed my driving test on Monday and couldn’t be happier :) now watching these people I can relate - just before my driving test I’ve had the worst lesson, making serious mistakes which I would never usually do. My point is , that sometimes even good drivers under pressure or stress would not be able to show their real driving ability ;) before my test I thought I will fail , even though I knew I am more than capable to pass , but panicked that stress will take over. Was lucky to have a lovely examiner who made me feel comfortable inside that car ;) anyway, I only made 3 mistakes during that drive and it’s been a week, still can’t believe that I did it ! Thanks Pin for all the helpful videos ;)
Congratulations 🎊 🎉, I had to switch instructor because my previous one made me feel bad when I failed my mock test ,so I lost my confidence in him coz he didn't explain but just critical in a horrible way ... But we'll done 🎉🎉xx
@@chinamoon33 thank you ❤️i’m so sorry you’ve had that experience ! He should never make you feel that way. Driving instructors are trained to teach and have to reach the required standard to be qualified to do so. Whist family members are useful for practicing with; generally speaking, they aren't very good at teaching.

I feel she has good car control, and good knowledge overall. Just a lot of bad habits accumulated over time unfortunately - a few lessons with a good instructor will sort it out I'm sure - good luck with your test!
Just past today. Finalllllllyyy. After failing once and running out of my theory test time I was worried how it was going to turn out. Luckily all went well. :). 1 minor same as last time. Ngl I thought I flopped it haha. A valuable lesson in not to leave ur car until everything is said
She learned with her dad and husband and believes that her driving is fine! They all need a serious look in the mirror and take refresher courses with a driving instructor before the worst happens to either them or someone else.
No, she doesn't. She started by saying how an amazing driver she is, but that she had problems with the instructors. Later blamed the car as well. She is one of those persons who is just looking for excuses all the time. After 4.5 years. Complete lack of self-awareness as well.
I passed my driving test today with only 2 minor on my first attempt after completing 15 driving lessons. I'm happy I achieved this in less than half a year! :D
Saying you're 100% confident is a red flag for someone that ISN'T going to pass this mock 😅 A LOT of serious faults that have undoubtedly picked up as bad habits from an unqualified teacher. This is why there is a completely separate licence for driving instructors. I only got the basics with my mum and then when I was comfortable with that I got paid lessons, barely developed any bad habits from my mum which was great but avoided being really nervous starting from scratch with a stranger 🤣 So far I've had 12 lessons and probably 20 hours with my mum(maybe ten-ish hours with her before starting lessons), I have my Test in Jan so I should be fine for that ☺ my biggest problem is noticing some speed change signs but everything I can do very well so that should be all polished up in the months before my test!
