NZ is no different to any other western country. When there are brown/black victims 99% of the time its a brown/black offender so if you're looking at it from the perspective of the police don't care ir aren't trying that doesn't really make sense as catching the person or person's would mean ( 99% of the time ) a brown person locked up, they can't not care but care at the same time.
No different to most babies and children murdered in past 20years, it coming from the families or family friends. You have to ask why there is so much brown/black on brown/black crime.

I had such a similar upbringing its surreal to hear your story. The childhood fear of men. I was pregnant at 16, 3 kids by 21 and later my kids step dad hung himself in the garage, I lifted him then ran and got a knife, cut him down and did cpr. Two of mine were 10 and 12 years and saw it all.
I know all that trauma. Praying for strength in your journey to bring your firstborn home.

It's no point arresting them if you can't win a court case. The police knowing who did it and proving it in court are very different things. We have such a thing called Double Jeopardy law, the last thing anyone wants is for them to get prematurely arrested get found not guilty then laugh at everyone and admit they did it, can't take them back to court because of double Jeopardy. Knowing and proving is fortunately a good thing, although it isn't for the victims but it's good for society or there would be lots if innocent people in prison otherwise .

What this Wahine is saying is all true... recently i found out a close family friend was done for soliciting a minor in Tauranga. And i've known this person for 19 years and it still gives me the shivers and creeps each time i think about it. There were no signs or inclination towards such behaviour... And it is true, these people are your normal day people in terms of looks..They can be the pastor, the next door family man, the postie, the doctor, the builder anyone.... It is true, evil has no face and kindness too... The person you think is the most angelic could be the devil and the person who you think is the devil could be the angel. I have realised this now. It is not until you are confronted with these situations you realise the limited police numbers actually assigned to these types of cases. Their contact with family/whanau is appalling especially as time goes on and this mum is correct, whanau/family find out more information than POLICE! Is this lack of closing cases due to the fact these are woman (we know historically the police have failed this population) or is it because there is drug aspects of cases??? Totally support everything this mum is saying and it is so sad that so many families in Aotearoa are going thru similar situations xxxx

You are such a courageous woman 🫶 sending you support as you navigate this chapter. May you find her alive and you are all reunited.
Please NZ Police, help find this missing girl 💔 these men in question need to be named and investigated intensively!

If she was a blonde haired, blue eyed Pakeha girl from Parnell,Auckland the Police would have put more effort into solving this case. I hope you find your daughter and can one day find peace. Have you looked in Hokio Forest? If the suspects knew Kimberly Reserve then maybe they know Hokio Forest, they would have entered via the sand dunes on either Hokio or Waitarere Beach, Waiterere Beach has License plate readers, Check the police had checked the footage
