- 06.21.2019 | 1:02 PM | MORENO VALLEY - Firefighters were battling a 200+ acre brush fire that broke out, Friday afternoon.
Authorities responded to reports of brush burning in the area of Gilman Springs Road and SR-60 around 1:02 PM.
Crews arriving on scene located several spot fire quickly spreading and threatening several structures.
An aggressive fire attack using both ground and air resources was initiated to stop the immediate threat posed by the fire.
The flames have scorched 200+ acres as firefighters continue to battle the blaze.
It was unknown if any structures were lost or damaged or if any injuries were reported.
