- 08.28.2021 | 2:00 PM | MURRIETA - A raging 1200 acre brush fire is forcing evacuations in the Cleveland National Forest. Massive flames are seen burning close by to homes. Crews are working to remove livestock from the path of the fire. Residents are frantically evacuating their homes as the quick growing fire nears neighborhoods. Crews continue to battle the flames.

this is the best coverage anywhere. No one needs a talking-head standing in the middle of things, explaining how fire works, and fire "bad".
I'm just waiting for one of them that has no business being in the middle of it to get hurt or kill and listening to them whine about it. They think all they need to do is put on a yellow shirt and they can report two inches from the fire. Those network, normally studio reporters have no business in the fire zone.
But how can we mortals possibly understand what's going on without the bimbo explaining why tires and aluminum engine blocks melt and how hot it gets standing next to the fire????

The Murrieta chaparral fire near tanaha truck trail North San Diego, not the first time this place has burnt and the San Diego fire department knows this terrain like the back of their hand.

@@offplanetevent I wish I had an answer for you other than I don’t know. What I do know is a few have been explained as power company equipment failures. What I question is how a fire in an area 30 Miles from any population, any power lines or human contact can start out of nowhere. These fire are being set in the most vulnerable of forested areas where fire suppression services are at a minimum. Most likely hours away In most cases. This is a coordinated attack on our forest resources that can bring on temporary changes to our climate. The question is now not why, now it’s of who benefits.

just to sit here and watch this is heartbreaking. all the animals i am so afraid for them. those people i wish there was something i could do to help. i would bet that they need donations and items to help the hurt and to take care of the ones they are holding for families. if you are like me and have a love for animals please donate if you can to help lessen the impact that this has on everyone. it was good to see that at least someone opened the gate to let the animals run free if they couldn't do anything to get them out....at least they might have some chance of living even if its a small chance.
God bless all the firefighters who are doing a wonderful job helping people and animals. Also police and paramedics for looking after everyone. 🙏🙏🙏🇨🇦
