Can't guarantee any actor in future instalments these days, cuz all it takes is one mistype over reddit, or drunken 3am post on twitter to tank an actor's career. Funny thing about them doing that is, it kinda negates the point. Cuz r*pist or not, no one is going to watch House of Cards, without Kevin Spacey. And no one is going to watch Pirates of the Caribbean without Johnny Depp. It's like, they remove these actors to save the brands, but ruin the brands by removing the actors that made them famous in the first place.

My favourite part is how the Justice Societies first move is to instantly try to kill him with blatant disregard for noncombatants and then proceed to lecture him on how dangerous he is. Oh also love how this DCEU movie loves to say "heroes don't kill", which ones? Cos yours do.
Yeah, the fact they didn't even *try* to talk to the dude and get his side of things before going "I am the law" on Adam was kinda off-putting for people who *claim* to be heroes
Or how about the fact Adam comes back and immediately it’s “go capture him!” Then even at the end, “this city is now your prison!” Da fuq. He came back and literally saved the day and he’s still “your prisoner?” Some “good guys” you got there…

Justice Society suddenly exists, Waller knows about them and sends them (which makes you question why she even pushed for the barely-powered Suicide Squad anyway), just to show up and push for “stability.” In a country where bad guys have tech that blows away Bruce Wayne, murder people endlessly, and keep them essentially prisoner. But oh, NOW you want to get involved when someone shows up that can help? Da fuq 😂

I love how they killed the music when he said the “Autobots” line because the guy said he wanted to make it his ringtone! That’s an extra level of “We love and appreciate our fans!

It does seem weird that the movie didn’t have Black Adam learning of Shazam in any way. Him learning that someone else has his power in the present day could have lead to an interesting storyline and conflict.
Yes, there wasn't even any teaser that they would meet in a possible sequel.
And the fact that the person who holds the power is a child against Adam losing his own child could’ve been interesting
it seems even weirder that anyone watching a DC film expects it to tie in snugly with anything else these days.
It's because The Rock only wants to deal with the big boys, meaning Superman.

It's funny that Hawkman says multiple times in the movie that a bad plan is better than no plan at all, because it seems that the philosophy the filmmakers were following was "a bad script is better than no script at all"!
I mean, with the exception of The Batman, wasn't that the thought process of these current DC action movies? I'm knew I wasn't the only one who saw that. When I could come up with better idea of how these movies should be done, there should be a monumental concern

@@mr_ks_gaming Pierce Brosnan has played James Bond. Also, he's old now, so one might say Mr. Brosnan is in his "Golden Years". There may also be a connection to the medicated part, but I don't know of it. Perhaps someone else can help out.
ETA: Brosnan's character is predominantly gold-colored, too, so there's that.
Not only do these never fail to both entertain and *skewer* the subject matter, these may actually be getting *better* with time! Never stop the content! 👍🤣

I fell like they should have made a whole movie about Brosnan's Dr. Fate before this one. That character and performance was the best part of the movie and it never felt like we had enough time with him.
Well, then the Rock will get overshadowed.
Bring Fate back for some other movie. Don't care how, don't care why. Just make it happen. Insert Pierce into movie.
You know it just occurred to me that he's got a similar charisma to RDJ playing Iron Man.
If nothing else, have him materialize into the MCU. That works too.

Pierce Brosnan probably didn't want to be another franchise puppet. He probably was the one who demanded to the director that they kill his character off to prevent that from happening. Kind of like what Harrison Ford demanded with Han Solo.

I remember when I first saw the CGI effects in the theater, and my first thought was "this would probably look a lot better if this was a video game".
I though so to, and then I watched it at home and the effects somehow improved. I still don't know why.
There was a point when filmmakers attempted to make CGI look real. Now they attempt to make it look like a cartoon.
I think the cgi was good, it just wasnt good in the context they were using it, the physics and other things werent believable. But it wasnt bad cgi by any means
Ngl, cgi/vfx Thor's lightning effects is more real than Adam's lightning effects.

I chaperoned a field trip to see this in theaters with our school, and of all of the movies I have seen this year, it was one of them. Truly one of the movies of all time.

It just came out on HBOM and I liked it, shame it didn't do well.
The movie had many flaws, but the crashing through walls instead of open doors is what made me laugh the most.
Had to watch it at home in 2 tries: fell asleep twice in the first half, both times during a major fight scene...

This is the best Honest Trailer in A REALLY LONG TIME!!! Dr. Fate killed it tho! Best part about the movie.
It took a real long time, but Dwayne Johnson finally got his own Chronicles of Riddick.
Was closer to Terminator 2, but yeah I saw his dig at Vin Diesel in the movie. Vin kind of asked for it though with that last Furious movie.
