Zeb never ceases to amaze!!! Wow wee. Lucky 🐣🐥🐣🐥🐣🐥🐣
😊❤️❤️
I think you’re gonna have to build that boy a clubhouse!
Zeb can build anything I swear! I can’t get my husband to do anything lol 😂😂
Vintage Junk to Funk Zeb does it also because it’s his job 😂😂. It’s what we do lol.
Vintage Junk to Funk My husband will hold up a hammer and I gasp. It’s never good.
Vintage Junk to Funk I feel your pain!!! I just redid my front yard alone today while hubby was sitting inside doing his work/ school. He could have helped for like 30 mins but didn’t.
There were soooo many unnecessary river rocks and pavers to move!!!
Vintage Junk to Funk LOL... my husband ONLY uses a chain saw ! I’m a carpenter’s daughter...... so you know who does MOST OF THE CARPENTER WORK... but at 64 I’m losing my strength .....
That was one tiny cute creatively built chickencoop 🥰💕
Doesn’t everybody want a chicken coop nowadays? I’m so glad to see one be built.
Another great way to recycle. Your chickens are gonna enjoy it. 👍🏻👍🏻
your videos are soooo much better when you have the star of the show in them. he steals scenes as well as my heart. give jack a hug and kiss for me. such cuteness is addictive so sweet.
He chirped in that coop for 20 minutes off camera lol
You know the rain is going to destroy that chip board. But it is looking really good. Bet Jamie will make it look good!
It doesn’t rain much here. We get most of our moisture from the snow in winter. 😊❤️
Here i am in my city appartment dreaming of land and farmanimals :D
It started as a dream for us too. 😊❤️
He is precious
Love your little helper ❣️❣️❣️
Very creative...of course Jami&Zeb. Soon you'll be having eggs with those pancakes.
It turned out great! So glad you went with the house colours!
That’s gonna be some lucky cluckers!🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓🐓Jack is precious.
🦋I love when Jack helps his Dad. He’s so cute. My Dad was a UNION Carpenter, and was killed when I was fifteen. That would have been me helping my Dad, in projects.
Sad to hear it 😞 hope you got a chance to learn some of what he knew. ❤️❤️
Jami Ray Vintage The one funny thing I remember, is when he told me not to jump on the pile of insulation. I'm sure upon reflection, he was warning about the fiberglass in it. I helped him, along with my sister....to lay cinder blocks for the building he was building in front of our house. When he was laid off from work, he would sell and make bicycles in that building. I never had a new bike, but that never bothered me. I was just glad to have one.
Your chicken coop turned out Awesome your chicken well be very happy . And jack is the cutest ❤️❤️
Thanks!
It looks great and I have to say again, Jack is so cute and fun.
Diane Johnson he said it was an amazing day.
Jami Ray Vintage he is very smart, I love the way he talks
I love this idea...we just used all our old windows & doors for a hot house as its starting to get cold here & I got some fruit salad trees that need TLC for a little while
That is too stinking cute!👍
Can’t wait for the chicks to arrive.
Me too!
Love it. So cute and loved seeing jack help by being a chicken 🐓😂😘
Aww Jack is so cute!
Turned out great!
You are so right on who always take care of the family dog.
Right??
Hey, stencil on that area behind the glass! And add hanging planter to front!
Well this would be cute as a doll house
Yeah it would!
Oh... you used that 3 pane window I have adored when I get a sneak peak at it in some videos on your back porch! Or is this a different one? I can’t wait to see your “fancy chickens”.... I always wanted them running around my yard! Not a plain Jane chicken but the fancy feathered ones! So cute!
Great job Zeb, Jami, Jack and Harrington’s muscle to,move it 👍👍👍👍
It’s the same one! It’s got a metal frame and made the perfect door.
How good did this turned out it always amazes me Zeb how are you whip things together and mack it look so easy. Thank you for sharing 🥰🤗
Thanks! Finishing this little coop really out a fire under me to finish the house. 😊❤️
So cute! We got our first chicks in February and a Craigslist coop for 20 bucks, which my husband hacked it to be a bigger size and built a run for me with some lumber and a beadboard panel. I just got finished painting it today because it's been raining nonstop since we moved them outside last month. Definitely coveting your windows. If you make the OSB on the floor a slide-out tray, then it's easier to change the straw, and you can still swap out the board whenever it gets beyond gross, which will be way sooner than you think.
Score on the coop!
So cute!
Again, ❤️ Jack!
Super cute coop! You actually could remove the second set of nest boxes, chickens need a certain amount of nest boxes...but they always end up using less then half. (They like to lay where other hens lay, so you will find most eggs in one or two boxes) This will give them more floor space to sleep. I raise Silkies so I’ve learned over the years a few little tips from my girls. I think I might copy your coop plans for my Showgirl Silkies (Naked Neck/Silkie breed).
When Jack gave that thumbs up, adorable ! Miss his lil cameos on the lives. Great job guys ! 👍👍👍
Zen and I were talking about doing the Saturday thrift hauls back at home once we get the kitchen at the farmhouse done.
@@JamiRayVintage yes, awesome idea ! I bet your RUclips fam is just as anxious to get the farmhouse done as you are. Can't wait 😁😁😁
Love how the chickens will be able to get sunlight and look out the window :)
Jack is about as cute as they come! What a great lil helper. Such a nice family!🥰❤
❤️❤️
It’s adorable! I’d live there is I was a chicken 🐓!!!
Awww 🥰 lil Jack helping is sooo cute Bless his heart! Love the chicken coup can’t wait to see it filled with the chickens 🐓
Fabulous and decoratively beautiful. Have you considered using vinyl squares on the floor? Makes it easier to clean. Mallard 5 Farmhouse idea.
I like it
Jack is so adorable and a I love his chicken imitation! Great looking coop too! Those are going to be some lucky chickens!
Jack the builder! Great use of scrap and pallet wood! Happy chickens! Blessed and safe days!
Raise your hand if you love this pallet chicken coop!
For the time being, that cute, little coop can be Jack's play house 😉
Heathers Home he’s already claimed it!
Oh it for sure will be
We are building a chicken coop as well. So far I just have the frame and floor in. Thankfully most of my materials were free as well. I used to be a crew leader for Habitat and would take home the good scraps. So far I have about $80 in materials like hardware, window, and floor tiles. I am going with the deep litter method and it is recommended to use a slick floor like linoleum. I went with cheap sticky tiles and I am definitely going to need some floor adhesive to make them stay down but they were cheap and easy to lay. I am also installing a removable roosting bar so I can change it as it gets yucky.
Sounds great!
Yall are cool😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃!!!!
Cute Cute Cute, if I could have a coop, that would be the one I'd want.
“I’m going to be working with my Dad today and I got a little nail pouch” 👍💖💖💖 those are the best days!!! Great video
He definitely had a good day. 😊❤️
Jack is so cute!
I LOVE it!!
Jack did a cute little speech at the beginning. 😍 Love seeing your family in action.
I love how the kids are going into the business, like I need those flush Jack pound pound with his hammer That was the cutest
Whether they end up working for us or not they’ll leave our house with a few skills. 😊❤️
Love the chicken coop! God bless y’all and stay safe and healthy!
Looks pretty good for just winging it! Jack is adorable!
It’s cute!
I recommend covering the floor with a sheet of rubber or something the urine won’t soak into. That particle board will hold the ammonia. Which is bad for their respiratory system.
Quite the cute little helper you have there, Zeb!
Solved all the jack footage. He sure is a cutie pie.
A good work Jack!
Yipeee I'm 1st! Lol watching letting my mani dry🌸 The coop turned out so cute..can't wait till you get the chickens!
Thanks!!! We’re stoked.
❤❤
Gosh this is a nice house for the chickens. Can’t wait to see them in there awesome job you two!
That is so cute you guys i cant wait to see your new baby chickies
Becky Kelly we are so excited and so are my kiddos
,I love that coop, great job!!!!
How cute that is. God Bless.
Turned out really cute
I needs dowels or sticks for them for perching.
Lucky chickens! My daughter-in-law's Silkies live in luxury 😂
Ahhh silkies are so pretty!!
I’m a chicken...bak bak 😆
And I’m second! Heeee Bff...Carolyn!! What a cute coop! 😊🐣🐥🐔
Debs hi friend!!
Jacky, your not a baby anymore! “I have a little nail pouch” hehe, ☺️ little cutie pie. Mini Zeb, or Jami?
He’s almost 6!
Love the coop!
Don’t forget your little black in the corner.
You guys worked hard and it turned out cute! I’m wondering if it would be good to anchor it to the ground somehow? It looks a little top heavy and may tip over in strong winds(or little boys’ antics!).
Or an earthquake!
For sure! Once I decide where I want it in the yard Zeb will most likely anchor it. We get really strong winds
Cute
Looks great! Do you not need to seal the paint?
Thanks! You could seal it if you wanted it to weather better but we’re going to allow the elements to work at it a little and get that good chippy farmhouse look. The DIY clay based paint should cure hard in about 30 days and withstand the weather on its own pretty well. 😊❤️
Hi guys love it. Did you seal it?
We didn’t, we’ll let it age and chip and repaint if needed but probably not lol.
Since it is outside with DIY paint, does it need to be sealed????? Lol Les
Probably but I’m not gonna lol. We’ll see how chippy and good it gets. 😊❤️
I'm a Minnesota Farm Girl,Wonder if I could get buy with this in Glendale ,Az Jami ?? What you think? No Roosters allowed but does not say ANYTHING about Hens in the code?? and I just scored some pallets!!!!!
We know lots of people with chickens in Glendale. 😊❤️
Ok Jamie! Mini Chicken Coop it is haha!! Will let you know what happens ! Love all the Apothecary! Have been having a Blast with our recent paint order and our kitchen remodel! Even used the White swan to stencil burlap curtains! Wish there was some way to share the photos with you! Every video is an Inspiration!!!
I want chickens but here in our area the city don’t let me 😔 looks great 👍🏽
Did you paint the pallet chicken house with DIY paint? Do you have to seal it or will it hold up in the weather?
We did paint it with DIY paint. It’s recommended to seal it, especially for outdoor use, but we didn’t see it. We’re going to let the weather work at it and see what happens. 😊
Darling coop, can't to see the chickens in it
I never got to watch your last video. It still won't play.
Ah bummer. Zeb recapped most of what he did in that video because it had issues.
Do they have a roost?
This coop is long gone now. We have a new one. And they roost on an old apple orchard ladder
Your hens lay with their coop that light in it? I thought chickens won't lay unless it's dark.
They need light in the winter. You can set it on a timer so they do have some time to rest.
That's way too many nesting boxes. You only need 1 box per 4-7 chickens. They all want the same box. & They'll just poop in the other boxes. Where are you going to put the roosts?
We’re getting 15 birds and Zeb will run dowels across from each side of the boxes. 😊
Poor chicken's will roast on hot days with those silly windows.
They can go downstairs in the shade
