I have one on order. Believe it or not, I was carrying a Walther TPH .22 as I wanted a small pocket pistol. Then I came to my senses and realized I needed something with more stopping power.
This has been my everyday carry since I picked it up used a few years ago. Solid choice for sure. As far as the holster, I use an Urban Carry Lock Leather for OWB, or a Crossbreed Freedom Carry for IWB. I also use a Neomag carrier for a spare magazine. That’s my EDC rig.
I just got the 45 mod1 all black. I wanted the 2 tone like yours but couldn’t find one so I settled with the black. Needless to say I love it and I like the looks of the mod1 better personally. I put a green front site on it too but switched it back to red. The green looks cooler but the red picks up my eye better. Nice .45 cheers 🍻
You know I loved mine. Still love it, even though I have moved to a different platform. It was not the smallest .45acp platform when it came out. KAHR I believe had a slightly smaller one. But it surely was the nicest and best shooting. And still is one of the smallest .45acp automatic single stack pistols. I love the Pearce agazine extensions, they make the short magazine feel like a full size. I've shot this gun out to 150yds and had nothing but good results. Mine had more than 2000 rounds thru it. Never had a problem, even with my reloads.
I remember how nice it shot... The mag extension sure does make a difference but it wasnt bad with just the flush baseplate... Still felt controlable...
Kahr CW45 is smaller by a tad. So is their PM45 but I think it’s out of production. But I own both the Kahr PM45 and the XD-s 45 3.3 and the XD-s shoots better. The Kahr conceals just a tad better. I prefer to carry the XD-s.
My xds45 is a summertime edc. I carry a 1911 through hunting season and an M9 the rest of the year. I really like the way my xds45 carries without printing.

Previous owner added a Crimson Trace LG_469 Laserguard. I paid $299 for for all. Don't think it had ever been cleaned. Cleaned it and seems to work well. Just haven't had the chance to fire it yet. @@gunsammodrones I did see a video about the recall for this model. My number does fall between ones for recall. I'm going to check with Springfield to see if it was repaired. I do have an envelope that was in the case dated 2013 with serial# and and empty shell. I think it has been repaired, but will double check. I'm looking to get the grip extensions. I did call Springfield and the process of checking to see if it had been repaired was easy. They were great to work with. Yes it bad been repaired. Don't remember who mentioned calling Springfield to check, but thanks for the heads up.

Cant find this package. Only one I can find is the Mod-2 with the bare bones six round mag. No paddle holsters, no mag holder. Springfield discontinued all that. Sucks. Thinking on just settling with the bare bones package.

Good video. I just got mine today, first springfield gun I've had. Im.having trouble with the slide stop and the slingshot method when I place an empty mag, I can't release the stop with my thumb. Without the mag the slingshot works, is it a fault on the gun or will it work once the mag has ammo?

I've watched nearly every YT video on the XD-s 45 and find his presentation is the most convincing as to why I should add it to my compact 45 collection (XD-Mod 2, Kahr CW45, Shield 45). Thanks...
The ones that talk crap about the grip safety are the “I’m too macho and manly to have that”.... Seriously, your frickin hand has to cover that part of the grip correctly to hold the gun.....unless you hold it like a newbie ! Just saying
I find that a grip safety adds a lot of peace of mind while reholstering with a minor adaptation of technique. I'll never go back. I've never had a FTF from bad grip and I'm not even trying not to. If a grip safety is a problem, then that person does not have a secure grip on the weapon and has no business shooting, period.

I would never buy a kahr. Doesnt seem trustworthy enough for my life, i owned an xds 45 in fde but sold it a few years back, finally missed it enough and i just ordered one a few minutes ago in black , great video and keep on shootin’

Just bought the fde XDs45 3.3. It’s my first 45 I’ve owned and I’m impressed. This kills the Glock 43, 43x, and 42 for sure.

If you go online you can still get them from the factory,
I think Kahr CM45 & PM45 are the smallest .45acp pistol. (excluding the Doubletap .45)

It should loosen once you fire it a few times and its usually harder to release slide with a mag in...

Now you get 2 mags, a canvas zipper bag and that’s it. No holster, no mag holder, no 7 round mag, no extra fiber optic sight, no extra backstrap.

I have a xds as well but the problem im having is the meg doesnt stay in. It falls out everytime. Is that normal.

Try putting 1 less round in the mag and give it a good shove
If ur useing extended mag then make sure the little plastic part is all the way to the base plate of the mag of take it off

Agree. I’m a double-action guy and often carry appendix so this gives peace of mind for those still itchy about carrying striker-fired pistols
I dont pull the trigger until I want to gun to shoot.
Therefore I have no use for a grip safety and I have disabled mine.
1911 guy, acquired a XDS, 3.3"...Traded back up for the 4", More accurate and handles better.
I bought the 3.3 because I already have a glock 48 and really like the 2 tone
Have a 4.5 and it is great. Racking it back to hold open it a trick. Got one Glock bite. Great gun otherwise.

Love it but I put my faith in the new XDS Mod .2 45.. Has a few new features that make it even more perfect for carry.

Had both, xds is slimmer than the cm45. Got rid of the kahr, didn't seem like the kahr was made to last.
