  • AMAZING HISTORY OF JAMAICA: Black River, the capital of St. Elizabeth, was a thriving economic community due to the sale of logwood. It was shipped to England for making dye, which invariably made the town a large seaport in the 18th century. #KareemsQuest

I always say that Black River has so much to offer. So rich in historty yet so neglected. It's as if those at the top can't see the value or potential. They've depleted it of everything- So sad.

I like Black River and would certainly live there......I think one of the oldest pipe organs in J'ca is in Black River Parish Church? Don't want to tell lies (lol). Correct me if I'm wrong folks. Thanks for the tour. Covid messed up my traveling good and proper. Haven't been back since.
