I'm guessing you took off to the west, judging from the neighborhoods below, I was hoping to see Lake Michigan but not so! Two things stand out--I assume you had an INOP APU since the pilot started the engines at the gate and those rampers would've used an air start to get the initial lighting up going and 2) NO DEICING? Really surprised, had you gone to the 'car wash', there would've been all that deicing fluid dribbling down the window, making visiblility almost to nothing--were you headed to MSP or ATL?
Hey Jason, I too was very surprised we did not deice, especially when it began to snow again. If I recall we took off on 19R but took an almost due south course. We did eventually fly directly over Chicago. I couldn't see it but we could see the light through the clouds. We were heading to ATL.
Love the mad dog 90
Yes! They will be missed.

Those pilots should have been talked to about snow on the wings. I would have been pissed being on that plane.
It’s checked before flight. It’ll blow off. It’s not iced over. Just fluffed snow
Was this a morning departure or evening?
@@n310ea This was about 6 PM local. It was January so it got dark early.
