Cantrell should be given the opportunity to either resign or be removed from her position. It's pretty clear that she abused her authority by obtaining personal information on the woman that took Cantrell"s public photo. Doesn't that fall under illegal use of authority? There seriously immediately should have been a warrant issued for Cantrell's arrest for failure to appear. Would have been done to any general public citizen. & if I were the woman that took that photo Id be pressing charges on Cantrell for illegally obtaining personal information. Cantrell is the one that broke the law not the other woman.

No. When a plaintive does not show up for their own civil court hearing, that results in a dismissal. Never in an arrest warrant. Now if an independent third-party doesn’t show up, that could be different. And that’s because the witness is then hurting one side or the other who has a right to have the hearing continue. But if one side doesn’t show up then all that happens is they forfeit their side winning.c
Not everything is about special treatment, we should all be careful about jumping to conclusions and consider maybe that we don’t understand the process.

I would personally be embarrassed to ever think in such binary terms. Someone can only say that if they have the right eye covered with her hand so that way they can’t use it to see. Not only are there tons of stories of small town mayors not from that side of the aisle doing the exact same things, but there’s a reason it’s not covered as much. And that’s because there are more newspapers and investigative reporters and just normal News coverage in big metro areas. It’s easy to have a story be seen when did effects someone an office that oversee 1 million people give or take. Much different in the county of 10 or 20,000. Like I said, I personally would be embarrassed not realize that. But hey, not everybody like me.
