Hello Erik. I am an 18-year-old completely blind gun enthusiast from California. I just wanted to thank you and say how helpful your gun tips, tricks and reviews have been to me. You actually take the time to describe in words what you're doing and what, to an extent, everything looks like which is helpful because… Well being blind I can't see anything so thank you very much
Travis, If you have not already, check out the gun channel called "Mishaco". He is a totally blind gun enthusiast and is such an incredible wealth of knowledge on firearms. I think you would really enjoy the channel!
Just a couple of guys having fun on a rifle range. Isn't that a huge part of our community? The gun community that is. It's one of those underpinnings that matters to us. Everyone needs to take an anti-gunner out on the range for this kind of fun. Maybe, just maybe we can turn a few of them.
Ben Pritchard totally agree, shooting it's damn fun, it's amazing how far a volley of rounds down wind can change minds, both on the battlefield and at the range.
Or you can engage in logical debate and destroy their arguments. Taking them to the range happens after they realize they have the liberty to do so. Until they do that, I wouldn't let them touch my guns.
Forgot to mention, you guys should do a Lee Enfield at 600 yards with iron sights. That would be cool to see. The one I have is Canadian made and is darn accurate on the range and in the field. A true family heirloom of Canadian history!
I mean, the sights go between 300 and 800 yards, so 600 seems very easy to do with the 800 yard setting. Pretty sure I could make that kind of shot with mine.
I managed to hit a stationary clay pigeon at 600yard with mine...but it’s a carbine with the whole barrel still intact. But I did use the irons and it took about 8 shots to walk it in. Milsurp ammo.
TheOutdoorGuy I talk to my 870 all the time in the field too. I always ask her...what we gunna kill today?...answer is always the same...what ever walks out papa
Ive been a very long subscriber, i dont usually comment but...id really like to see a Swedish mauser up on that tower. 6.5x55 is phenomenal for this stuff.
Well the gun itself it's not expensive but it's got a really high price, the problem is that those many magazines would be very expensive and also the cartridge that it fires (5.7x28) its expensive. And most of the P90 is semi-auto (one shot per trigger pull) only! Only a few special government agents have full-auto P90.
I think it is totally awesome that you could get even close to that gong let alone hit it 3 times. That is so crazy cool in my opinion. I personally love it when you make these just going out and having fun videos.
Seth Dutton yep. RUclips now suggests what they want you to watch, not what you’re interested in. I’m so ready for a decent hosting site to come along and kill RUclips.
snowman379 yeah I’m waiting on it too, I realized that RUclips was shit when they started to demonetize almost everyone’s videos and it’s just killing people’s careers on here.
Seth Dutton yep. All these California based media companies are allowing politics to govern how they conduct business and will cry and blame Trump and his supporters when people finally get fed up and stop using them.
I love your creativity in that build brother nice SBR I bet it holds zero at 300 yards pretty well keep up the good work and I would love to see you shoot it loud with say a modern muzzle brake and double hearing protect just for fun to see how accurate again for fun....
any IV8888 video i see with fugly in it gets a like instantly. love this gun and ill probably build one at some point in the future. thanks for the video guys
I don't know why there are some nehative comments abput Chad. I personally love it when he's in the videos. I think the combo of Eric and Chad is great and makes the videos lively.
Taylor McKay a channel exists with an Australian husband and wife shooting all sorts of random calibers really long range. From .22 to 45-70. Up to and over 1000 yards.
Liked. I have two Mossins. Cut one down to 20in, changed stock, had gunsmith put a banded front sight on muzzle. The Smith said 20" is as short u should go for accuracy. 10" on rifle will affect your accuracy. 100-200yds good enough for me and a 70yr old battle gun. 🤗
Have you guys used her in the field yet? I agree, it would rock out there in the bush! I would love to see more mil-surp stuff like that! 03 Springfield
suggested videos come up based on stuff you watched. it has nothing to do with the video you are watching. youtube got rid of that way of recommending stuff a long time ago.
I asked because instead of suggesting more gun-related stuff, it's suggesting videos for 10 year-old kids. I noticed this happened to me on Hickok's channel also. I've never clicked on an origami or beyblade video lol.
Chad should wireless link to target camera to call shots or get a better spotting scope since walking in rounds is impossible with bad calls also most rounds were hitting within the limit of error for red dot sights at 600 yards
Can y'all do a devoted suppressor talk video? Wanting to get in the suppressor scene, but I'm researching different kinds (k baffle, flow through, etc.) and different kinds of attachment types (threaded, tri-lug, quick detach, etc.) It can be daunting for someone new to the game!
I will watch just about any video that has an M1 Garand shooting in it. Correction, I will watch just about any video that has an M1 Garand ejecting the clip in it. Ping!
I think what's happening is the bullet's going subsonic just before it gets to the plates, so until he starts hitting the plate repeatedly and taking more time to aim, the barrel and powder aren't warm enough that the bullet stays supersonic all the way to the target.
Powder burn inconsistencies due to the short barrel. Need to go for a faster burning powder with case filler. To bad the contder or encore where never chambered for the 7.62x54r. You would have some good reloading data then for your length of barrel
Got an idea for some shows (or one long show)... I like the 22 magnum and I like the Kel-tec PMR-30 and CMR-30 (but I own nothing right now). I want to know not only how accurate it is at longer range, but if the bullet maintains its lethality at that range. Maybe say do the plywood test or if possible some ballistic gel at say 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600 yards. Use something like a 40 grain round (hollow point if testing on ballistics gel). I also would be interested in see the difference between the 4.3" barrel and the 5" barrel on the PMR and what kind of accuracy and lethality it has at range (maybe 25, 50, 75, 100 yards). That brings up another point. Is there much of an accuracy difference between an hollow point and a FMJ? Maybe test that CMR-30 for groupings at 250 yards with each ammo... or maybe zero a scope with one and shoot the other to see if the drop changes at those ranges. I'm not a Kel-tec guy, but I have gotten into survival stuff for a hobby. I'm talking things like Bug Out Bags, 72 Hour Bags, Get Home Bags, Mini Survival Kits, First Response Kit, Every Day Carry... For a survival weapon I always thought a CMR-30 with a PMR-30 for backup with 2 loaded magazines each and an extra box of 500 rounds. It should be great for small game and such ,but I have heard you can take down even wild pigs with a good shot pretty easy and these two guns and 620 rounds of ammo only weighs about 10 pounds... or about the same as a typical AR-15 with 3 clips. Plus the CMR-30 collapses down to 22.5" so it should fit in a backpack pretty easy. I know there are a few carbines that use Glock Magazines, soi if you wanted to compare the weights and accuracies and damage of those (like a Glock 19 a Kel-tec SUB2000) and too I would be even more happy, but I think a 22 magnum would work better at the longer ranges than even a hot 9mm. You could also throw in an AR-15 just for comparisons too. Just some ideas of something I think would be cool. Maybe some others would be interested too.
Kenneth Anderson I’ll have to agree with you. $300 is more the price range. I always add $100 to Guns. I’m from CA and to get the gun in had from seller costs that much
Awesome video guys! You should see if you could lend that Mosin to The Walking Dead production. It would be cool to see one of their characters using it. That rifle would be a fun apocalypse weapon much like Daryl’s crossbow. 👍🏼
Hello Erik. I am an 18-year-old completely blind gun enthusiast from California. I just wanted to thank you and say how helpful your gun tips, tricks and reviews have been to me. You actually take the time to describe in words what you're doing and what, to an extent, everything looks like which is helpful because… Well being blind I can't see anything so thank you very much
Travis Nichols Thanks for sharing your perspective and good luck brother.
Travis, If you have not already, check out the gun channel called "Mishaco". He is a totally blind gun enthusiast and is such an incredible wealth of knowledge on firearms. I think you would really enjoy the channel!
How did you type this if your blind
Buck he uses a text to speech/speech to text program. Along with a Brielle keyboard perhaps.
Perhaps he had assistance from a caregiver?
How can you not love that thing?
If the bullet misses, the ensuing firestorm will kill the enemy!
💯 Hella good fun!
@@fgrandlibertyreporthobbies9369 and the massive shockwave would completely rearrange their ear drums into mush lol
Ben Pritchard it might turn some but I'm sure most would get immediate "PTSD" from shooting an AR
Well first every one of us needs a lack of restraint on making or buying an SBR and Suppressor...I'd definetly do this though.
Operator, in what way is our community "fucked"? Please clarify.
Or you can engage in logical debate and destroy their arguments. Taking them to the range happens after they realize they have the liberty to do so. Until they do that, I wouldn't let them touch my guns.
Someone made a mod with this mosin in it on Arma 3... It's awesome
This is one of the funnest light hearted videos you two have done in a long time. Enjoyed it very much thank you!
Forgot to mention, you guys should do a Lee Enfield at 600 yards with iron sights. That would be cool to see. The one I have is Canadian made and is darn accurate on the range and in the field. A true family heirloom of Canadian history!
TheOutdoorGuy the longest shot I ever made was from a 303 Enfield sinking it into a drum at 1012 yards with iron sights. Took 34 rounds.
Liam Winter Holy shit! I don't think I'm that capable of pulling a shot like that! That's a hell of a distance for the 303
I mean, the sights go between 300 and 800 yards, so 600 seems very easy to do with the 800 yard setting. Pretty sure I could make that kind of shot with mine.
Awsome rifles I took an elk wit my second Enfield this year with 150 grain Sierra prohunters
Huge bang for the buck!literally and figuratively
I managed to hit a stationary clay pigeon at 600yard with mine...but it’s a carbine with the whole barrel still intact. But I did use the irons and it took about 8 shots to walk it in. Milsurp ammo.
I love it when there is a newly uploaded IV8888 in my newsfeed!
Put a bump stock on it.
It's a bolt action
yes
Tapperlite1 Meaning u can't put a bumpstock on it
You don't even need a stock to do it, a well attached shoestring to the bolt can allow rapid fire
A cup of dirt And why the hell r u so triggered?? No one else was. Youre fighting a battle that never even started bud
Needs a Foregrip and cup holder.
"Misha" - it's so cute )) Great channel, thanks a lot! Your fan, Sasha from Moscow
You guys are great. Watched loads of your videos. Just getting started with firearms in the UK you have been a great help.
Absolutely love this gun. It's just a stupid fun range toy but has a practical side to it. Keep it up!
Don't feel bad, I talk to my Lee Enfield rifle all the time when I'm by myself in the deer stand. 😂
TheOutdoorGuy as long as it don’t talk back your good lol
Bosco’s Gun Talk agreed! Lol
TheOutdoorGuy
I talk to my 870 all the time in the field too.
I always ask her...what we gunna kill today?...answer is always the same...what ever walks out papa
What? imagine all the badass stories it could tell!
Wow this was so cool. I like seeing y'all try to find where it was shooting. Good video. Thank you for making it
Fun video, wish I had a range like that! My wife said the Mosin is her favorite and she doesn't appreciate people talking crap about!
Ive been a very long subscriber, i dont usually comment but...id really like to see a Swedish mauser up on that tower. 6.5x55 is phenomenal for this stuff.
Fugly, functional and fuckin’ cool.
the8jrfan fucking fantastic!
Bosco’s Gun Talk fuck yeah
May you 2 goofballs never grow tired of making vids together 👍
Please do a ps90 meltdown!
Tengu85 that would be expensive as HELL. I'd love to see it though
I would like to see a mini 14 or 30 meltdown... See how long that wood stock lasts
ApocolypsMeow now there's a good idea
It would probably melt in his hands though
love watching these vids.. its like being with mates and havin fun :)
I think it is totally awesome that you could get even close to that gong let alone hit it 3 times. That is so crazy cool in my opinion.
I personally love it when you make these just going out and having fun videos.
I bet right now In your suggested videos it’s mostly about iPhone X
Seth Dutton yep. RUclips now suggests what they want you to watch, not what you’re interested in. I’m so ready for a decent hosting site to come along and kill RUclips.
snowman379 yeah I’m waiting on it too, I realized that RUclips was shit when they started to demonetize almost everyone’s videos and it’s just killing people’s careers on here.
Seth Dutton yep. All these California based media companies are allowing politics to govern how they conduct business and will cry and blame Trump and his supporters when people finally get fed up and stop using them.
Seth Dutton mine actually doesn't
That little thing is pretty sweet, I'd love to have one it be perfect for hiking in the mountains and hunting. Great video guys!
A suppressed, SBR Mosin, I think that definitely qualifies under the heading of 'Why would you do that?'.
Great videos! I wish there were more good gun content creators like yourself.
I love your creativity in that build brother nice SBR I bet it holds zero at 300 yards pretty well keep up the good work and I would love to see you shoot it loud with say a modern muzzle brake and double hearing protect just for fun to see how accurate again for fun....
Absolutely love this rifle, I used ur videos to customize my rifle, and can't I can't wait to see what you guys do next
Red dot, 10.5" barrel, cheap ammo, 600 yard target. Great recipe for a ton of fun. Thanks for the entertainment boys! Looking forward to the next vid.
I enjoy these "for the hell of it" style videos. Keep up the good work and I hope to see more like this in the future. Thank you.
any IV8888 video i see with fugly in it gets a like instantly. love this gun and ill probably build one at some point in the future. thanks for the video guys
I don't know why there are some nehative comments abput Chad. I personally love it when he's in the videos. I think the combo of Eric and Chad is great and makes the videos lively.
Not bad at all guys :) Well done.
You gotta put a PU scope on it an see how accurate it can be at 600👍
Keep up the good work guys. Good and clean no bullshit.
There is an Arma 3 mod that features this rifle.
That 2nd shot definitely went into the woods. You can see the bullet ripping through the air.
I love my mosin and my raptor thats all i need in life
I think with a scout scope, some magnification and a better aiming point that rifle would put those rounds on the steel much more consistent.
Nice shooting my oldest boy got his first deer with a Mosin the grant at a hundred yards straight sites
This video is just like something my friends and I do, bravo!
22lr 600y
Taylor McKay a channel exists with an Australian husband and wife shooting all sorts of random calibers really long range. From .22 to 45-70. Up to and over 1000 yards.
Markandsam afterwork, is the channel
Taylor McKay they kinda done it... Check "how far 22lr can kill". At 400 yds is very hard to hit something. 600 yds is pointless.
That would be a hell of video. You'd have to be in a hot air balloon shooting straight down at the target.
Liam Winter try 4000yards with his .375 gibbs
You both have sooo way to mush fun back in this days.
"Fugly" is an accurate name for that! :D
Kelna91 But........that fugly gun could take a 200 grain shit on your chest at 600 yards. Might take 20 shots.
Interesting video guys. I like the variety.
Could have sworn he said "green fucklet" in the beginning of the video.
I lol'd more than I should have. Thanks guys ^_^
“Uhhh where were you aiming?”
“Uhh about 30 ft above it....”
BAHAHAHA!!
I wouldn't have imagined it would be as accurate as it appeared to be awesome SBR.
Great Work Guys!!! The Anticipation:-)))
Love it when you're having fun!
That is awesome guys keep up the good mosin work. Just send it.
I specifically despise that overreaching picatinny rail and that fugly pistol grip on that thing! Not a bad gun though! :D
M1 garand at 600 would be neat.
M107 at 600 yards pleaseeeeeee
Grisly Bear it's made to do that all day everyday.
Justin Riley But its loud and cool
that isnt very special. i dont get why youre all giddy at the idea of it. thats like saying you want to drive an F1 car over 100 mph
*over 240+ mph thats why thats cool over 1500 yards is dope to watching the trace is nothing to frown at one of those gotta do it things
At 1000 yards
Misha is a BEAUTIFUL name for that rifle
Is anyone else getting suggested videos that are completely unrelated to this channel?
Shad0wize_ - Yes. It could be from this video being categorized as "Science and technology"
suggested videos come up based on stuff you watched. it has nothing to do with the video you are watching. youtube got rid of that way of recommending stuff a long time ago.
I asked because instead of suggesting more gun-related stuff, it's suggesting videos for 10 year-old kids. I noticed this happened to me on Hickok's channel also. I've never clicked on an origami or beyblade video lol.
mine are all iphone x
Yes! iPhone X videos.
Great video... Love the fugly Mosin
Love this camera and audio setup
YES you guys are awesome! been waiting to see this thing get stretched out to distance
jlkingen that was some distance there
Man I love the look of that rifle.
The high wind to the left actually had a noticeable effect at that range... that left Gopher had a bad day
Good thing Disc Don't Shoot Back
Yeah, I'd be curious to see how it'll do with a little 2-7x scout/pistol scope.
Chad should wireless link to target camera to call shots or get a better spotting scope since walking in rounds is impossible with bad calls also most rounds were hitting within the limit of error for red dot sights at 600 yards
Did you ever check the can to make sure it's still tight?
The best video yet !!!!!! I love my Mosins too!
I love that little mosin
That the weirdest, coolest, WTF, fun gun ever!😎 Definitely needs a scout scope.
TRY MOVING THE TARGET TO 500 Yards !!!! Save ammo and time.
love long shot videos! nice shooting. try shooting a dime with a 22 at 50 then 100 yards
Thumbs up before the firing even started. Fugly is such an awesome gun.
Return of Fugly Mosin!!! Hooray from California!!!
uncle bobedy a fellow California that appreciates Fugly Mosin
same, but im moving out of state just to get my hands on some sbrs
Why does this make me so happy?
Id give my lefty for that fugly mosin... i was in love after his first video of it
Man people hate your mosin I don't mind it I just have a appreciation for any gun really as long as it functions and isn't a complete piece of junk
I would love to have a sporterized Mosin like that. I wouldn't sbr it, but I would do the camo with the pistol grip.
I can understand the frustration I had the same fun with my 11.5 ar
Ruger AR556 meltdown. Its like a good competitor to the M&P15 you just did.
prodigy2k7 Boooring
Never had an accuracy issue with a mosin, they proved to be very accurate for me
This video cracks me up!!
Y'all should take the m1 garand out to 600 haven't seen that gun in a long Eric
I will watch just about any video that has an M1 Garand shooting in it.
Correction, I will watch just about any video that has an M1 Garand ejecting the clip in it. Ping!
i love that little gun
I think what's happening is the bullet's going subsonic just before it gets to the plates, so until he starts hitting the plate repeatedly and taking more time to aim, the barrel and powder aren't warm enough that the bullet stays supersonic all the way to the target.
Powder burn inconsistencies due to the short barrel. Need to go for a faster burning powder with case filler. To bad the contder or encore where never chambered for the 7.62x54r. You would have some good reloading data then for your length of barrel
That Mosin is an odd looking little weapon...but I like it. I almost want to do that to my mosin! Keep up the great work, guys! Left you a like! :)
That gopher had a bad day, mishka nailed him on her own.
a scope might help ... I've have seen guys that couldn't do that well at 200 yards let alone 600 yards .. its all good fun ..
Do more SBR 600 yds shooting ! 223 and 308 ! \o/ Awesome video guys ! Thanks for the content !
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Bring back "Guess these five guns"
Fuggly good to see you again
gotta love the mosy
I think you guys are great all about the fun .
Got an idea for some shows (or one long show)... I like the 22 magnum and I like the Kel-tec PMR-30 and CMR-30 (but I own nothing right now).
You could also throw in an AR-15 just for comparisons too. Just some ideas of something I think would be cool. Maybe some others would be interested too.
Nowdays they are about the same price as an AR
martywhitevan yeah I was looking into picking one up for the channel.. the prices are around $400
knew I should of bought a lot of them at $69 a piece... smh
KD Customs yeah man their only climbing
Kenneth Anderson I’ll have to agree with you. $300 is more the price range. I always add $100 to Guns. I’m from CA and to get the gun in had from seller costs that much
Bosco's, I got my Mosin at Canadian Tire for $199 just a couple months ago, now can only find one site that stocks them....
Eric and Chad will you guys do another gun gripes about the US house combining Concealed carry reciprocity with the fix nics bill?
Josh Deen good, better chance of passing
Awesome video guys! You should see if you could lend that Mosin to The Walking Dead production. It would be cool to see one of their characters using it. That rifle would be a fun apocalypse weapon much like Daryl’s crossbow. 👍🏼
Mischa is short for Mikhail, a man's name...bahahaaa
Hey when are you guys going to address the price sheet you had up on reviews and featuring products on your channel?
