I FINALLY get all my new interior parts and pieces in, so let’s completely redo the interior on a budget! I am VERY happy with how this came out considering how cheap we did the interior.

2:20 "I don't really know how to cover seats, but I'm going to learn right now."
That is a great attitude. I live my life that way.
We missed you Casey, because your builds are great and you keep us laughing. So happy to hear you are better but sorry about the toe. I know that hurts.
Thank you. Big Toe sucks the most cus you feel it on every step lol
Hell yeah monte Tuesdays is back im a sucker for G-bodys 🔥🔥🔥
Finallllly! Withdrawals are hell! Glad you’re doing better!
🤣🤣🤣
“Do you want to go home or go to jail” Love Training Day!
Thank you so much for including the budget amount! I LOVE for you to explain how you’re doing this stuff affordably!!!!
Thank you, I will do a full update when my steering wheel and other stuff shows up too
@@CaseysCustoms that’s what drew me in, I think you got a lot of attention from the f100 build, I wonder if the “budget” is what drew folks in due to you showing a more affordable method
Casey you have the Monte Carlo looking good on the cheap so far!!! Stick with the plan and formula and you’ll surprise a bunch of subscribers on this build!!! 👍👍👍✊✊✊✊
Well glad you're good. I was freaking out I did something and wasn't getting any new videos. Damn near drove up to St. Joe to check on you.
🤣🤣
Been waiting for this. Glad you’re feeling better
Thank you!
Glad you are feeling better
That looks SO much better than what you started with! I know what you mean about people not painting door jams; one of the cars I used to have, the previous owner had just painted it but didn't bother to do the door jams, but luckily it wasn't hard to find spray paint that color like 2 days after I got the car, that's why I can't understand why anyone would wrap their car.
Yea it’s just kinda a weird pet peeve i have lol
My dream car my dad had a 78 when I was a kid man . I would love to find one to restore! Great job man 💯
Man bro, ur motivation got me working on a project, don't stop the grind..
The car is looking great Casey and the interior looks amazing for what you spent, you are right that work is expensive so for you to get the inside to look like that for a grand then that's all aces man.
Your humor has me coming back. 😂 I found this channel Monday after looking for guys modifying f100’s and I’ve binge watch 15 episodes. Great stuff man, you make magic behind the camera. 👍🏽👍🏽
I can’t believe one dude in his garage is some of the best RUclips.
He's back !! Glad ur doing better , let's go
Casey your amazing with your work on the Monte Carlo. Love your videos. You don’t boar people to death with where a screw or part goes. You Just get the Job done.
Looks high class,on a low dollar budget. Love it. just my style 👍
Doctor: Hey Casey, here's some antibiotics. Take one three times daily.
Casey: Okay, boof it! Cool!
🤷🏻♂️
Sorry this is such a late comment but I have used Iggee seat covers in several of my cars and in my opinion, they have the best fit and finish. They are a simulated leather with a 3/8 inch foam backing. They come sewn in the factory stitching look. I even put a set of them in my 95 Corvette and they looked and felt like the original leather, the color was spot on to my original tan interior color. They are fairly easy to install and look so much better than any other seat covers I have tried.
Good to know I’ll check them out! Thank you
This will be outrageously helpful for my new build. Instant sub.
🙌
We always wet the carpet goes in much easier and flat then put fan in let it dry over night lift spray glue and put holes in
!!! This build is sick !!!
Love the process so far hopefully ya get well soon my guy can't wait to see them bolth fully completed out on the road driving
Yep, looks great
I love the way this is turning out.
Sometimes it is easier to pull the doors off to get to everything for sanding and painting.
100%, this build I’m not super worried about it. But i have had to do that on past builds.
My dad was a upholstery guy he did a 34 Ford truck diamond tuck in 84. It was black with burnt accent to match the paint. I think he charged 300. Wander what that would be now. That includes seat headliner and door panels everything
That interior is tight!
Glad ur feeling better
Looking great casey
Monte Carlo is coming together great 👌🏼
Can’t wait for next video!! 😂
I haven’t laughed more in the first 5 minutes! You Sir have my Subscription…..
The Monte Carlo build is doing really good really looking nice great job
man where have you been bro and great job on the monte but them seats have to be redone bro for real just being 100% real keep up the great work.
Full Spectrum Casey Today
There is a company named clazzio that make model specific fit covers and they are great
Interior looks good! its coming together nicely. Hope you feel better
Your channel is Awesome!!!
All they do for broken toes is the same thing you do before painting, tape and more tape. My husband and I are working on my dad’s 63 C10 step side and now we know we have to spend a little more on the upholstery. Get well soon.
Yep! Lol
I believe the Training Day Monte Carlo had gray interior
Man I can’t wait til it’s done!!! I’ve been looking for a 78-79 for years I plan on taking my Son on a looooong ass road trip in one someday and just talking life for a week or two on the road 😂 you have to get some really good videos of the inside as you drive it so we can get that feel lol and I’m taking notes man your doing a badass job so far 💪
I had a 78 monte model car with hydro from Walmart to AA batteries ,for knowage.for those may know . grandprix and monte car started new body in 78 my dad had a 77 prix for graduation gift his cousin mom got his a 77 both class off 77 in 78 both monte Carlo and gp was g body's ,I love ur monte ,I'm glad u picked air over hydro tear up cars I had a s 10 on 2 pumps 10 switches I tear it up ,alot I was always hopping hard I got a 69 ford Lincoln now on bags won't ever go to hydro
What’s up Casey I have also have black 79 low rider, your channel is awesome keep up the great content.
Nice Progress
You need carbon ceramic tint for the windshield especially. Protect that black interior.
It even comes in clear. Still cuts out heat and UV.
Looks great
Man came out 👌
Good shit!!! Interior looks awesome. Thanks for the inspiration on getaway me moving on my Monte Carlo!
Thats really a good price for a new interior.
Good stuff Casey! You're showing you don't have to spend all the money to make a big change!
Very nice job.
Hey yo Casey. When you going to do an ol'skool cadillac build yo. I'm a very big Caddy guy here coming from SD,Cali yo 😎
Keep up the good work
Oh this is fire fire One of my favorite year model too sheesh.
By the way fruits and vegetables can heal the body stay away from milk products and look into herbs like Haritaki
Wow you did cover the windows while you welded the roof. You should check the windows now cause you probably have melted spots in the windshield from welding.
Damn i didn’t think of that, i bet this broken windshield is gonna need replaced now 😜🤣
@CaseysCustoms lol i didn't see or even know that the windshield was broken 😂 😅
Those turned out solid for budget seat covers!
That’s what I’m saying! 1/2 these guys complaining must not of heard the part where i said “I’m gonna replace but for a cheaper pair they ain’t bad for now”
@@CaseysCustoms like you said interior stuff is crazy expensive! Is it perfect? No, but those seats are excellent cruise material.
Less than $850 for the current interior minus the wheel and misc trim is INCREDIBLE!
The dash looks new!
Great job Casey! The car is looking good.
If the wonderful People at Harbor Freight ever send you an extra mig tig welder and you don't have room for it.... lol love the videos man you do great work!
Looking good. Great job Casey
I look forward to your uploads every tuesday
You've worked hard...looks good 👍🏼👍🏼
You made a good decision to redo this car
Finally I’ve been waiting all week Casey! I’ve been a longtime follower, but never really commented, but I’ve decided to reach out more, so remember my name!!!😂 I’ve been doing some builds because you inspire me
That is awesome to hear!
@@CaseysCustoms yeah I just picked up a manual swap for my square body, and I’m in the middle of Cummins swapping my obs Chevy crew cab short bed
@@DoubleTOutdoors1117 that is badass
@@CaseysCustoms appreciate it brotha, I even wanna start making some content soon, I’ve made outdoor content on this channel, but nothing like what you got going on.
Killer job man! I’ve been trying to talk myself into a gbody on 100 spokes! And dammit, I think you’ve talked me into it!
Question about the interior paint. Did the paint dry well for you? I only ask because when I attempted it the paint dried very well on hard plastic. But it didn't dry on anything soft like the armrests, etc.
I used vinyl/plastic paint and it dried prefect on all surfaces. I’d never really used it before so i wasn’t sure, but ended up being very impressed
You might want to completely cover the Monte before painting the Mustang paint overspray is a nightmare to get off
That was funny asf..love channel
Gonna start calling you Mr. Wizard
Looks Awesome brother!! Lovin this build 🔥🔥
Let's goooo
Looks like the seat covers I use on my 77 Nova back in the day. How can I remember so far back? Because I still got the car and it still looks the same. The seat covers held up. And the rodents did not chew it up after I park the car and yanked the engine for another project. Being a quick job on the interior for the money I spent I was okay with it. Interested in seeing how it all turns out. By the way I've got a front clip and doors and probably some other parts left over from a few of those Monte Carlo rebuilds back in the day. Those and some mustang parts that were in such great shape I just would pick them up and put them back for the next build. Well I moved onto different makes and models and had some parts left over. Do you know about the guy outside of Springfield Missouri? Decent paint for extremely cheap prices. Congrats on flashing in the door jambs.
I would say they look ok but if you come across bucket seats later then redo it.
Great looking interior so far Casey 👌
Good to see that you are feeling better bud
Ty sir
Dope
I am not a fan of these cars, but DEF a fan of the training day car😂. Looking great Casey. Gotta love the old man for putting in work.
Lol same
Cool
Do you want to be a sheep or a wolf ,your choice !
Do a old school audio system
Just watched Training day and they definitely had a Gray interior with vinyl bucket seats. How come you didn't go with the color?
I wanted a bench.
Where did you get your interior plastic mouldings from? I’m in the process of changing over a 1980 Monte Carlos interior from blue to gray. Thanks in advance. Great job!
That looks great I want to do the same on my 83 cutlass . I'm having trouble finding parts maybe u can help me ? I would appreciate it
FYI when sanding door jambs or actually anytime when using hands to hold sandpaper, use gloves, cotton gloves, cheep HF work gloves, thin leather gloves, we wear gloves when doing any autobody prep and paint. Take them off before masking, you'll understand why when trying to get the tape off a roll and/or your fingers, you be like a cat with tape on its paws LOL 😂🤣😂
Hey Casey, I have a 98 Ford ranger that I want to put bags on. What's the best budget air bag system that you would recommend? I'm new to fabrication, so please keep that in mind.
I'm glad to see that you're feeling better and making some huge progress. I see why you have your dad do the painting tho. Lol. Getr dun bro.
Looks amazing
I just recently purchased my dream car 79 monte carlo & I am looking to restore it just like the training day monte so is there anyway u can send the links to where u got the seat covers & carpet & all other parts where u ordered from?
Who did you get the upholstery from? That may be the problem. It's easy to claim OEM, but aks around. Maybe check with someone like SMS in Portland OR.
Hey Casey, where did you get the new seat covers. I want to check the price on my 73 dodge charger. If you can, will you let me know. Thank you. Love the channel and videos. Take care and be safe.
Just curious. After your doctor consultation did your meds taste funny? Glad you're on the mend and I enjoy your content.
Hell yeah clicked fast af boy!
I am with you on hand sanding door jambs. It's no fun at all!
Always cut the fingers on something lol
Those are just slipcovers that you put over the existing vinyl factory cover.🙄🥺😳
That’s crazy I didn’t know the steering wheel was from grant I thought it was made by forever sharp
It’s hard to tell in the film but i read online it was a grant, so I’m going with that lol. In reality any 3 spoke wood grain style would work. This isn’t a perfect replica by any means
YUP
🖤
It's time for dad to paint the mustang
