  • I got tired of trying to compete on my Nexens without a co-driver and was offered to drive an A-street Z06 on Yokohamas, instead. I gladly accepted. Here's my third and fastest run, good for 5th in overall PAX (counted runs, 8th w/ all runs) and 4th/17 in Open PAX class.

    what tires are you running F/B?

      This was on Yokohama A052's. I'm not sure on the exact sizes.

    Surprised it didn't drop a valve....

      I talked to a GM engineer and he said ls7's dropping valves were 1.6% of all z06s sold.
      I feel like it's an overblown issue.

      @@3rdGenGuy I'm sure they same Engineer would say GM vehicles are reliable and worth the $$....

      @@3rdGenGuy nah it’s way more than that. A ton of cars had the problems. Plenty of videos with blown z06 from the same issues

      @@3rdGenGuyprobably more than that but I do agree with you that it’s overblown, by now most cars have passed the mileage where that problem would appear, or have had the issue fixed with an aftermarket replacement. It wouldn’t be too big of a concern of mine if/when looking at one of these.

      @@davidr6865it’s called negativity bias. no one’s going to post about how their ls7 DIDN’T drop a valve.
