Native instruments sent me their new plugin TRK-01. It is a cool little tool to manipulate kick and bass in a new and refreshing way. I used it in this beat that I made that I think would have fit perfectly on the new Kanye West "Ye" album.

Oh, I love a good discussion. I Thought About Killing You is Ambient Trap and at this point I feel like Kanye has dabbled into every sound that one could think of. Every album or project he's done has been a progression and utilization of what's trendy.
Courtney Hawkins what i’m trying to say is that Kanye has a very DNA in his music no matter what the genre. Even when Kanye makes experimental music you can hear Kanyes insane talent for making every instrument to sound so musical fit together witl all other sounds. I like your beat, i’m just saying if someone mentions ”Kanye type beat” it should be so close that it should capture more of the essence of a Kanye beat. Even then it’s almost impossible to sound like a Kanye beat. Just like there a hundred Dj Premier type beats on youtube and none of them sound nothing like Dj Premier. Listen to ’i though about killing you’ and try to find one one generic high hat, snare, kick, vocal or anything that is out of place or copy pasted. Every sample and every instrument is musical and on point and makes us feel his music. I couldn’t find those most basic Kanye elements here so to me it didn’t sound as a kanye type beat.
I genuinely feel the title has more to do with click bait to get views on a premise. It really has more to do with Native instruments claims rather than hers, since it's their FB page that lead me here. Sounds like a track good for video intros or just kicking back to. It sounds nice- but is far too basic to attach Kanye's name anywhere need it. I respect her passion though!
tompparaideri I admire your passion. However, I never said that I was Kanye West. I said that I made a beat that could be on Ye, which btw Kanye was not the only credited producer on that album. I’m a huge Kanye fan and I’m aware that if I would have added more distortion on this track that it would fit that more “experimental” vibe that you’re talking about, however I made this beat because I liked it and I wanted to show tips that would be helpful for other producers.

Hey is there a way to have the TRK-01 beat pattern be recorded so that it is perfectly cropped and ready to loop? So if you're dragging it from TRK-01 to your DAW there no post cropping that needs to be done to the recorded WAV? Thanks
