I've been a fan for 30+ years. Toby was a living legend and a great American Patriot. It's terrible how he's gone way too young. I thought for sure he would beat the cancer. Thankfully we have his tremendous musical, patriotic USO tours and his foundations legacy to continue to remember him with. His work and impacts will live on through the Toby Keith Foundation. Toby was more than just a musical legend; he was a great American who cared about those serving in the military, our veterans and kids suffering from cancer. We need more Toby Keith's in this county. His death is a huge loss for our country. RIP brother and fellow patriot.

He always kept it 💯. My only regret is I never got to have a beer with him. His passing really got me. I genuinely cried. As a veteran, we knew he loved us. I hope he knew we loved him just as much. Of course I am a fan of his music, but I not only loved his music, I have so much respect for him as a human being. He helped many of us heal, after 911. He represented us in flipping the bird to Bin Laden and the terrorist who helped him. The most important thing he did during and after that time was the many times he went to entertain our troops. He cared about them and helped them to maybe forget - for a little bit - where they were. Not every performer did that. He wasn’t afraid to speak his mind, which I knew with Toby “what you see is what you get”. Take him for who he is or not…whatever. I’m happy that he is not in pain anymore. He’s in a better place. You came to Dallas for an outdoor venue show in 2001 or 2002 & I have followed you since. I LOVE your music. seeing him in concert first at WeFest in detroit lakes, minnesota i loved him and his presence on stage. was always hisself and i believe he stopped to play with some of the locals at the corner bar even. rest in paradise Sir he left much to remember and think about as well as great memories 💯🇺🇸
