I love this! A friend of mine had a 2012, same color, just the 2.5 4cyl, when I was in high school (it was a new car then) and I have a ton of great memories of cruising around town in it. He sold it for a 2015 Rogue unfortunately (he agrees) so this is like going home again to see 🙂
Seem everyone did same. I had a 07 Altima but lucky for me two years of excitement my mother old car broke down so she drove and dirty it up like this one. After 8 years later got a 2015 Rogue still have after 5/1/2 years. Nissan rules!!! This my favorite generation Altima besides the newer model.

I've been following your channel for the past 3 years and really proud of all of your accomplishments. I myself have a Nissan Altama, and knock on wood, no problems with the cvt so far. I have changed out the fluid in the trans about 5000 miles ago. With CVT's I have learned that if you dont dog them out, they can last a long time.

Make your new shop comfy, Randy (heat, air, insulation). Other than that, your plans are solid. You deserve to be comfortable no matter where you’re working.
Why not move your shop to the new place, including the AC and heating. Also, can you move the AAR dealer to be relocated to this house? I could invision the new shop getting replenished and working in the garage and have the ready cars sitting in the forecourt. The pending cars can be sat in the garden via the side door. Just a thought as the new house seems perfect.

@@CarringtonHollister you know your products so be honest. 99-06 Altima’s are they any good with 180k+ miles. I’ve seen many for sale near me but I’m very skeptical as I’m looking for something reliable but cheap. And I’ve not really know Nissan for reliability
@@keithbroh5730 I’ll say be sure to check the cats on model years 03-06 and the 2.5 4 cylinders are notorious for head gasket issues so check those as well the 3.5 V6 are relatively fine but just be sure to look for those and in the 02 through 04 be on the lookout of rusted floorboards as well
I hope it doesn’t have a cvt transmission. If so maybe it has already been replaced. I have a 2012 I bought new and at 112,000 miles the trans just said “It’s been fun and I will see you later” it checked out! I spent $4000 on a new transmission and my youngest daughter now drives it. I have done a few videos on it. Good luck with it.

You need to build some ramps to drive your pickup on, to raise the tongue of the trailer, so the cars can roll off. You also need a winch on your trailer, to winch cars onto the trailer. Great score on the Altman! 👍🇺🇸 Waiting patiently for the Z4 video
I started working again so I was not able to watch if I knew you bought this I have a lot of parts for it like a quart of the CVT fluid the transmission gaket for the pan new screws for the pan the filter a unprogramed key I could of gave you. I always asked for you to buy one of these. I thought you might like it if you shift it yourself and the power is good also.
What you need ro invest in is a trailer winch. So when you get cars that dont move you can get them on and off the trailer without the worry of your self a new door in the shop
Ok, here is a fact. I purchased a new 2013 Pathfinder with the 3.5 V6, and same CVT, and they had to buy it back in less than 7 months due to slipping CVT and "judder". Your vehicle has the same engine/transmission combination, and a lot more miles. To be more specific, go to forums for the vehicle and see what is posted regarding the transmission.

Altimas are great cars.Have had two of them.No problems with either of them!
New radiator, fluid and she’s good to go. Just touch the FOB to the start button then she’ll be good to go every time.

Good ride. I had a 2010 Altima I bought brand new and got over 200K miles on it before I sold it. Never had any issues with the cvt.

Replacing radiators in those Altima’s are quite a task. I did it on my Altima coupe. Took 2-3 hours
Congratulations on the new place randy.
A lot of the issues with that CVT are valve bodies.
I seen the belt snap off as well from impact in a crash or pothole.

I’d recommend Amsoil CVT transmission fluid for these cars. It helps smoothen the ride.
U can get rad out without discharging ac separate them patiently

my daughter had a 1999.it was terrible transmission up.then she had a 2012 with the same problem.now she has a honda accord that runs fine.

I think you can replace that radiator without disconnecting the condenser if you remove the top of the radiator support.
