My condolences to the family God bless 🙏✝️them all I'm an Appalachian daughter and a miner's father who was raised in the Applician Mountains and I know that life and it's beautiful I tried and instill in my children this life style and appreciation of the people, and it seems like all the Appalachians are start to fade away , but they are always going to be in my heart 🖐️👵🙏✝️💐

Just a pure old soul that only knew that you get what you put into it. This is what got me hooked on your vedios Jhon. But now I'm hooked on all of them vedios. He earned his wings in to heaven.

Prayers for comfort and strength for his family, friends and all who knew and loved him in the days to come. 🙏🏽💝

I am crying watching this. Mr Ralph reminded me of my precious uncle who passed away several years ago. He was a lot like Mr Ralph with his humor and treasure trove of wisdom. My prayers for his daughters and all the family and friends. Thanks to your videos John, his legacy will live on for generations to come.
I am really sorry to hear about Mr Ralph I have seen all the videos and I really enjoyed watching and listening to him he had some great stories and I'm glad that you got to record him John we are losing that part of our history every day hardly any of the old timers around anymore I really appreciate you doing what you do with your videos RIP Mr Ralph 😢 you'll be missed
Never got to meet Mr Ralph but felt like i knew him. Love his stories his smile his laugh. He will deeply be missed. Maybe in time we can still see videos of the robertsons.
I am so sorry for your loss. He seemed like such an incredible dude and so sharp for his age. The way he lit up when he saw the general store again and just the way he lived his life. So inspirational and unfortunately we are losing a generation of people who Understand what the United States is supposed to be and what helping and loving thy neighbor is all about. Something that’s been lost in the modern generations. Luckily there’s people our age who had grandparents and parents who came from those times and we still have it in us. We have to teach it to our kids and grandkids, before it’s too late, and it’s all lost. God bless you and the rest of the family in this tough time. Much love from Maryland.
So very sorry to hear this. Loved watching his videos you did. He was active right up until the end. Always wanting a smoke too. I’m going to miss him and the videos. Prayers to all his family, gonna miss the ‘ girls’ as well. They took such good care of him. Thanks for the memories Ralph ❤
Sorry to hear about Mr Ralph passing. He reminded me so much of my Dad. Thank you John for sharing Ralph's last few years with us. I enjoyed every video. Blessings to all his family.
Absolutely heartbreaking to hear this, thoroughly enjoyed all of Ralph's Videos and couldnt wait for the next one. May he rest in Peace and God be with his family.
The very first video I watched on this channel was the one where he opened the store for the first time in many years. I've been hooked since. God bless you Ralph and rest in peace.
So sorry ro hear bout Ralph he reminds me so much of people here in our small town .. i could have listened to him tell stories all day the older and wiser ones are leaving us they never be any like them generations of people.. they had hard lifes growing up but they was so happy!!! RIP Ralph ... my heart goes out to family and john thanks for sharing the videos with us of him.. Jimmy and Charrissa from Virginia..
Loved all of the videos listening to Ralph re-live the old days! What a treasure to his family and community! Prayers for Ralphs family as they continue this journey of life without him 🙏
Such a AWESOME old man. So many people loved him. He will be truly missed. Me & so many loved all the videos you made with him. I wish I could of met him.😪
John I am so sorry to hear about Ralph. My condolences to you and his family and friends. Ralph was a breath of fresh air. What a humble southern gentleman he was. RIP Ralph, you will be terribly missed.
Pleas convey my deepest sympathy to Ralph's daughter's and thank them for sharing their father with all of the world. He was a true treasure and one of the last of the greatest generations ever. I'm so thankful you documented his life and stories. I never had the pleasure of meeting him personally yet thru the videos you made and shared with us I felt as if I knew him. He was a true southern gentleman who remained true to his upbringing and his way of life. I loved how he spoke the truth no matter what anyone thought. His girls are a testament to him and his beautiful wife. They both live on in their daughters and grandchildren and to the many friends they left behind. I think one of his girls opening and running his store would be such an amazing tribute to him and a life well lived. God bless and keep all his family and friends. Thank you John for introducing this amazing man to the world.
As the grandson of two hero grandfathers about Ralph's age, I sure am so glad you got to meet and get to know him and share it with us. These were my favorite videos that you've done. As a dual sport motorcycle rider in upstate SC, we often ride up around this area and I think I may have been by or super close to this store here. We've met some fantastic folks from up in that area on random encounters. Man, this is just the best generation in my opinion. I greatly miss my grandparents and I wouldn't be here today without them! May Ralph Robertson rest in piece! Thanks again man!
Sorry to hear of Ralph's passing. He lived a very long life and was very fortunate and blessed. I loved watching him and his stories. Praying for the girls. Thanks for letting us know John. ❤
RIP Brother . Sorry for your loss John and Jodi 🙏 , he got to share some things and hopefully he want be forgotten until we All are gone and singing with the Angels , Happy and Blessed New Year to you and the viewers 🙏💡

Never got to meet Mr Ralph but felt like i knew him. Love his stories his smile his laugh. He will deeply be missed. Maybe in time we can still see videos of the robertsons.
Sorry to hear this John.
It seems like he had a good long life. Rest well, good sir ✊

Ralph was such a beautiful soul and I thank you for introducing us to him. Prayers for the family. Rest in peace Mr. Ralph Robinson
So very sorry for his Family and Friends, but like you said his memory will live on forever in the Videos. Rip Ralph 🙏
Thank you for the comment
RIP Ralph! You will be missed ❤❤❤
Very sad but I am glad he didn't suffer. He was a character, so enjoyed your videos with him.
