"What Makes this Building Come to Life?" Irving Institute Student Mural

Dartmouth College student artists Alessa Lewis ‘22, Camille Lee ‘22, Ekene Duruaku ‘22, Harrison Munden ‘23, Leah Ryu ‘22, Michelle Chen ‘22, and Sam Miller ‘24 painted this mural on the Project Lab glass in the Irving Institute atrium in spring 2022. The work was commissioned by Dartmouth Design Corps team Kiera Bernet '23, Avery Hormaechea '24, and Sanne Schouten '23 who were working with the Irving Institute and the Dartmouth Sustainability Office to help make the cutting-edge energy and sustainability systems in the building more visible to visitors and occupants.
