I remember the Optare Metroriders (first version) that used to be on the 150 and 151, they had a very distictive whistling sound when going from 1st to 2nd gear. There were some double deckers that W&D got from iirc Manchester. Some had green grab rails, some had red (they must have been the ones with the modified suspension for riding on the Sandbanks Ferry). They were unusual as it sounded like the drivers had to give them quite high revs when reversing at Poole Bus Station
Well done for doing these videos bro, serious keep it up. I seriously enjoy watching your videos, your the best bus RUclipsr out there, your videos mean alot, you should be very proud. These videos will have more value when all these days are gone and everything is very much more modern in 2040
1185 was SP102, a Fulwell based London United Scania for most of its life in London. It was also the one painted in a version of the old London United livery for Year of the Bus in 2014
Absolutely enjoyed watching it. I did manage to sample a few open tops on the m1. 366 is definitely one of my favourites in the fleet. Great video I'm looking forward to the next one
The Scania’s have already come up to Manchester they arrived last week the deal was only till the end of July the newbies are expected in late September early October at Go South Coast
My first secondment at poole depot was brilliant, i got to drive optare spectras, optare excels, solos, and the HF54 reg eclipse volvo b7s which went like a rocket! fav route was 3 and 4 to Wimborne as you could get any bus on it hence the variety
I remember riding on Spectras from Broadstone to Poole, iirc they were always used on the 132, think the 133 was Optare Metroriders. One day for some reason the 132 instead of turning right at the New Inn, turned left and it was like it was doing the 133 route via Park Gates
Thamesdown based in swindon now being swindon’s bus company! we’ve got sisters 363 and 365 and they fly by. Thamesdown name was stripped as it was sold by the council
Used to be a Bournemouth Resident, I've never seen an M1 be an open topper before, that's mad! I used to take the M1 daily between Castlepoint and work
Thank you for doing the morebus network. i absolutely love their buses and how outstanding and colourfull they make their buses
6:00 I’ve seen that fiesta a few times!
Oh and yesterday when I was walking to school, I saw it again!

Very good matey.. Least u got some kickdown out of thunderbolt
I love that network so much, however because I live so far away I don’t get to ride on it very often
Thunderbolt(366) is also my favourite!

Are 363 and 365 any good?
@@theleedsbusdriver the best two buses in our fleet by miles but 363 has a bit more power to it but equally just as a good :)
@@thewiltshiretrainspotter1152 do there ever do Service?
Just realized, I went to Bournemouh after this vid was uploaded.

I love the Morebus network, They are just very short on vehicles at the moment
I know there's at least a couple of ex Southern Vectis buses around, you can make out the green where the paint is chipped
I'd like to visit Bournemouth and Poole in general. Did all the Yellow Buses vehicles get auctioned off?
They did yes. Ensignbus ended up acquiring them and sold them on. First Group and Rotala purchased a lot of the modern buses
AFAIK Morebus bought a couple, I believe that one of the current Morebus open toppers is an ex Yellow Buses bus
Tha gets about Alex
When you next in hull
For the open top bus video I have a map of the breezer network of zones ABC
That map will be out of date, they've fairly recently extended the size of zone A
