The lump of coal traditionally was a disciplinary gift in the 1900s where wood and coal chimneys were commonplace. The idea that Santa Claus, krampus, la befana and others are mythological historic figures are tied to chimneys basically reinforces the idea that the kid was naughty so the entity forgot to pack them a gift so instead reached into the chimney for a lump of coal instead.
Thank you guys for coming back, I just had to put both my dogs down within 3 days of each other because of cancer and your videos lend me some nostalgic joy. So merry Christmas and thank you Jeff and Adam
This was like the most ideal brood lord play. Just force the enemy to have to fight an endless wave of no cost no supply because they're going to facetank it. No subterfuge. No flanking. Just face to face mashing.
Before electricity, getting coal from Krampus was a way of saying, "you're so poor that you should be happy just to get a lump of cheap coal to not freeze to death".
They do, in fact, have figs. Take figs and boil them in wine, and pound them in a mortar with bread. Mix it up with good wine; boil it. Add good spices and whole raisins. Dress it; decorate it with pomegranate seeds on top. Modern day is actually fruitcake. Straight up.
Honey, nut, fruit (often figs, but idk if thats up to not understanding its just a weird name) and rum flavored pudding. Basically a dense Christmas cake that every region in Europe has its own version of. Traditional English version just happened to be boiled. Panettone is Italy's but has become one of the more popular and widespread version in the new world. Being Veneto, pandoro is ours and is more-less vanilla flavoured brioche cake in the shape of a star. Most of the time it gets eaten with custard and berries. It use to be like Fyghey, but moved to figgy because English. Could also be because of figs popularity during the late medieval period and fig just got battered in place over the centuries. Because English. Pudding is just an old word for steamed/boiled food. Its totally separate in origin from the 'normal' gelatin puddings, but they both borrow the same word as an origin. Because English. Boiled blood sausages, back sausages being the most famous variety, are sometimes called pudding sausages. Somehow pudding came to mean and easy meal item and got added to things that are by definition not puddings. Steak and kidney pudding is just a meat pie.
Figgie puddin? You don't? Figgie puddin'! It's figs, in puddin', in dough. Not bread dough, sugar dough. You had cake before? Add some figs, make a circle, cut them nice, add them when time is right. You know, bake the dough and add figs. Shit's 'spensive.

We love a big swarm of brood lords.
Legit my mom did it as a joke one year and I found it funny. Also I had a rock collection so it went into that.
By the way, fig jam is awesome! My sister, who lives in Canada, makes delicious fig jam.

Figgy Pudding is a musical artist of the 90's. Lust for Life was a banger of a song.
Fun fact about figgy pudding, it doesn't actually use figs (I have no idea what the fuck figgy pudding is).
No one knows what race KKKAMALA Hairyass is either including herself, ain't the world full of mysteries!

Expected some LAGTV shenanigans with terran blindcountering with libs or vikings or just plain mismanagement by zerg. Nothing of the sort :(
Figjam come on bro
Even bad games are good games. This wasn’t a bad game though. Just saying.
