Range Report: B&T APC300 (.300 Blackout Pistol)

- In this Range Report I shoot and review the B&T (Brugger & Thomet) APC 300. This is an APC pistol chambered in 300 blackout with a 8.7 inch barrel. This is similar to the APC223 which I reviewed earlier and I hope will not get as hot and be more balanced. As always, these are my thoughts, opinions and experiences. Yours may vary.

Thank you for taking your time presenting this. Greetings from Switzerland.
It is my pleasure! Thank you for watching!
Reloaded. We begin again! I love it
Yep! And it will be bigger and better than ever!
Cool share
Thank you Joe
I'm here for the hemlock iso irl lol.... Awesome video💯💯💯
Lol, thanks
Good morning, Jason, I wish I lived in your neck of the woods. I would love that "pistol", I could just see the Fun Police here would have a meltdown if I tried to convince that it was a pistol. Cheers
Cone to Texas and let's go shooting!
if the gun wont cycle subsonic rounds, i fail to see how its in anyway, anyway at all, superior to a short barrel 7.62x39 ak.
I do agree with you on that.
@@thetexasgunvault I assumed you tried it with a can tho. Did you not try it with a can?
@@thetexasgunvault it’s still rad tho don’t get me wrong lol wish we had the ammo choices and prices on 7.62 x39 :(
Could you ever make a video about purchasing a suppressor?
Sure
With a new keyosk e file method? Thank you.
It’s a crime that HK made a 300blk variant of the HK433, but isn’t selling it in the US. Most of these are DI. This is the only one I know of that isn’t. Makes it more compelling for sure.
I sure wish they would make the Hk433 for the civilian market. I have no idea why they don't.
@@thetexasgunvault right!!! I get that people love the 416, but O just want a 433 now. They made a ton of great improvements and I feel like no one over here really talks about it.
I am torn.. this or the MCX spear 9inch blackout? Help me choose please..
Both are really good. I might got B&T on this one.
So will it cycle subsonic with a flow-through suppressor or would that fail as well? I think it's rather lame that a gun like this costs $3200 and comes with a gas system that doesn't have the pressure even with adjustability to cycle unsuppressed subsonic ammo.
I agree. Many people think that's not the point of subsonic, but I disagree.
Wouldn’t a flow through present the same issue? I’d assume a heavier back pressure from a non flow through can would cycle, but still might not be enough. I’ve been curious about this as I have been looking at this gun. The pro is out now but don’t know with that one either…
If you think it makes sense to shoot subsonic un-suppressed 300 blk god bless your heart
@@jacobschrader14 That's not the point. The point is that a $3K+ gun should with an adjustable gas block should have a range of adjustment that will reliably cycle any factory ammo of the correct caliber. I don't know why people such as yourself make excuses for all the compromises and corner cutting.
What was happening to your apc 223??? Was it malfunctioning due to it overheating??
No, but it does get hot
@@thetexasgunvaultyou can always get the full pic rail for it and then toss on some heat covers and wear gloves. That's what I had to do with my MCMR rail. I was able to get that thing hot pretty fast.
That's a wide mag. What caliber is it?
.300 Blackout
😯😯😯👍👍👍 VERYGOOD สุดยอด😁😄😗
Thank you as always!
This is what would be my ideal pdw. It's just a few inches too long. But this is the closest to perfection as a pdw in my opinion.
It is a very balanced gun. Great for a PDW no doubt.
"Its just a few inches too long"
-Thats what he said.
I thought this was a short stroke piston
It is.
Love my Apc 223 🔥 try to review the ghm9 SD! Just waiting for my can to get released 🥱
I would love to get a chance to shoot one
Use Lancer mags instead of Magpul.
I will try next time.
I thought pistols with stocks are rifles?
This is not a stock, it is a brace
Any thumbs down yet?
I never really check. I am sure though. There are always haters you can never satisfy
How can you shoot & review a 300blk without a can man? Come on now!
I did not have one that would fit this gun my collection and the owner of this gun who owns one was not able to be at the range. I do the best I can.
@@thetexasgunvault I get it man! But god dayum, its a must for a 3 hundo! Love your stuff man!

You lost me at reciprocating charging handle 😕 7:24
Yeah, it's not the pro version
@@thetexasgunvault 👍
thanks for the review. Would’ve been nice to see if the subs would function if suppressed (I assume they would).
Pro gen 2 has it everything they missed here they did correct on the gen 2 pro version
