Our relaxing day exploring Costa Maya, Mexico!

- We are at Costa Maya, Mexico! This was the second port for our cruise. We did a little exploring around the port area to see what kind of stuff there was to do. We had a nice relaxing lunch right by the ocean too!

I didn't expect you to say a comment I left on the "BEST Spring in Florida" vlog to her face at 13:46 😂! Glad you loved that one! You know a pier is long when it has its own dedicated tram to get people across it! The distance from your ship to land at Costa Maya is apparently 380 meters/1,247 feet long, though the total length is 704 meters/2,310 feet, but it's not the longest! The port of Progreso, which is also on the Yucatan Peninsula, has the longest pier in the world at FOUR MILES/6.5 km!
Nayarit is pronounced "Nah-jah-reet". The artist who did that gorgeous mural by the pier is Senkoe! He also has murals in Chicago and Sacramento as well! Senkoe’s work is inspired by his love of living and being around nature and by his country’s biodiversity. His work is even featured in the video game Forza Horizon 5. Staying quiet for a moment to let us appreciate the sound of the crashing waves is something that I appreciate! So the reason Patrick Star has a wooden plank nailed to his head is from the episode My Pretty Seahorse where SpongeBob had a seahorse named Mystery and Patrick was building a stable for Mystery but ended up nailing a plank to his head...classic Patrick!

It sits just south of Cancun about 80 miles and has seen a spark in the tourist industry since the mid-2000s. Before then, Costa Maya was just a sleepy Mexican fishing village.

I use to live in Atlantic beach Florida about a half block from the ocean I use to love falling asleep to the sounds of the waves

Lizards of all sizes lose their tails to get away from predators. My cat used to try to catch small lizards and he'd end up with just the tail. 😱 Don't worry,they grow back.🦎

If you port in Costa maya again, take a shuttle / taxi to the beach and town or Mahahual which is really close by. Highly recommend!! ❤

About the fish chewing your feet it is a bit more to it they really look after the fish and are very strict before putting your feet in the water. In Malaysia its an amazing salve to let you walk around shopping some more xx
