I have to say, I am stunned by the quality of this production. Nice depth of field, faultless audio and many more compliments from my side. Just arriving back from vienna, I will definitely make use of your tipps, the next time I am there. Thank you very much for your efforts creating this.
There are also standing tickets for the "Ronacher Theater", "Raimund Theater" and the "Theater an der Wien" which cost 5€, in the "Volksoper" they are even cheaper (i'm not sure, but about 2-3€). The "Volksoper" has a very diverse offer, because you can see a musical on one day and an opera on the next (depends on the plays they show at the moment)

Thank you so much showing the train going by sounds like an awesome way to do transporting people around unfortunately where I live we do not have anything like this.
The title of the video says *on a budget* but then we see one of the most expensive secondhand shops I've visited in Vienna. I mean, it's a nice place with charming café but definitely it's not a budget place. I would rather recommend Humana secondhand. They have tons of stores across Vienna's centre with more than reasonable prices and often dedicated vintage sections. Otherwise, the video is honestly made. Public trams are the best way to see most of the sites and sausage stands are a great option to taste local food (not all of them tho). But a little warning about standing places in theatres. Be ready for people, who attended a concert just because of a cheap ticket and actually aren't into opera or classical music whatsoever, thus may behave a little disruptive during performance. It happened to me in Musikverein, where a third of the people in Stehnplatz were filming the concert on mobile although it was prohibited, half of the time were browsing social medias and some didn't even take their hats down.
that's not vienna on a budget!!!! that's hipster vienna and really not that cheap. you made a commercial for a few small business guys. SHAME ON YOU TRICKING PEOPLE INTO THINKING THAT THEY COULD ACTUALLY SAVE MONEY
go into some restaurants called 'Gasthaus'in the suburbs of vienna like in district 21. or 22. can be reached by U1 direction 'Leopoldau' or U2 direction 'Seestadt' they are in most cases cheap, traditional and very good :) for example: Gasthaus Frohes Schaffen, Lahodny, Brünner Bräu. or to a wine tavern in 'Stammersdorf'
Err Pee, I live in Vienna, and you are totally wrong and misguiding other people. These are not only small businesses, but they are very successful and beloved around Vienna. I personally know this restaurant guy. He is very down to earth. This is a very good vlog about Vienna.
Thankyou, we had great time unfortunately couldn't get to see everything, but it is a fabulous city and we're already planning to go next year. The Ringstrasse is awesome!
I take my vegetarian friends to the Palatschinkenkuchl - lots of choices for them, but also for me, from sweet to savory: palatschinkenkuchl.wien/ .... best of all, you are not eating cardboard or hockey-pucks (don't take this serious, insider joke for my French vegetarian friends in Paris, who took me to their fave vegetarian place). That was years ago, and we still laugh about it.
Vienna isn't a "must go destination" anymore. Prague for example is more interesting and fascinating. Also Budapest and meanwhile Warsaw are a better choice for a trip
Kidding?? You are right Prague and Budapest are beatiful but Vienna is more beautiful than Budapest and Prague. For me Vienna is the most beautiful city in Europe.

San Ly Absolutely! This video was more like a sponsored thingy than an informative one.
Except the Chinese Buffet is straight up cancer.
That Burggasse24 vintage clothes shop is expensive af tho. I recommend checking out a few Humana stores instead srsly

at what time will you have to buy the tickets? Same day shortly before the show starts?

Excellent suggestions :) I moved to Vienna about six months ago, and I've done about half of these. All fun.

Vienna is a peaceful city
On a budget means maximum 20€/day. And you suggest on spending more than 100€/day... So I suggest to change your misleading title :)
Hi I am visiting the city this December do you have any tips on doing it cheap.

Nice depiction of the city, especially through an affordability perspective.
if you really wanna know how to travel on budget make a video about me :D spending 8$ each day while travelling in Europe
you should make your own videos and put them on youtube id be interested in seeing that.
I'm currently in Vienna. Definitely going to try some of these tomorrow.
Hi Nash! sounds great! hope you're having a blast :) Best, Denise

We're going to Vienna next week so thank you so much for posting this video. And yes we are on budget.

Please give some advise for vegetarian people who don't eat any sort of meat either red, chicken and fish. Thanks
Dear Abha, maybe this article can help you: www.wien.info/en/shopping-wining-dining/restaurants/vegetarian-restaurants

I can also recommend "Neni" at the "Naschmarkt". They sell kosher food which can also be vegetarian.

"We happen" to be here when the owner is here! Some how I dont think so!
@Doc Holliday. These are small businesses, and the owner is always there. I know one of them.
Is any possibility to have a home in Vienna for free?

Strange thing that most food shops do not use that principle and waste money and environment for single-use gloves.
