the way you announce the magicka costs makes this video seem like an infomercial for old wizards
Now all I can imagine is a modern version of Skyrim and a random mage is just channel surfing at three a.m while eating a bowl of chips. And he's sees this one spell and he's just like "400 magicka to cast?! It better be worth it!"

Dead/dread thrall is by far one of my favorites, because if you don’t feel like carrying a lot, you can put a lot of heavy things in a dead person’s inventory, then reanimate them with no penalty. When you want the things back, just kill the thrall, take the stuff, and reanimate when finished.

Dhruv Red the only problem with conjuration is that if you don’t have a powerful creature or if you don’t have the proper armour you die easier

the reason the unbound deadra spell doesn't work is because you need to use it in a specific place for a quest
it's for the sigil Stone quest at winterhold college
Lol one time I completely fucked up by duel casting expel Deadra. I had to wait over 48 hours and my summon deadra lord didn't work.
Vaping Dad Not is a bug, you use this spells to take The sigil stone! (Just this)
It still is useful after that, you can use it to summon actual daedra at the atronoc forge, you need that spell and some items to summon them
I used that spell a long time ago. To this day, there is an unbound Dremora Lord just hanging out at the College of Winterhold, sitting around on benches with a tankard, occasionally duking it out with an unkillable essential character, whose name escapes me.
Summon Arvak is one of the most helpful spells in all of Skyrim.

Unbound dremora can only be cast on top of the college of winter hold. SMH
And it doesn’t work after he gives you the stone. Whether that’s because the programmers just didn’t care enough to let you summon it again or because if you accept a gift from a Daedra, it breaks your hold on them, we may never know.
Maybe Dagon killed the dremora after he came back without the signal stone
and only once
Onis Knight Four times. First, he is completely resistant. Second, he is still resistant. Third, he submits. Fourth, he gives you the sigil Stone.
This is because after completing the quest, the dremora had bounded to you, so he is no longer an 'Unbound' Dremora
Turn undead isnt unique... I find it litterally everywhere...
Did he use turn undead? I only remember Dread Zombie and the like
Turn undead makes the undead flee, dread zombie is a resurrection spell

Ah, transmute... Once I found that spell, my friend and I were amazed that such a powerful spell was in the vanilla game. Absolutely phenomenal for grinding alteration, smithing, enchanting and speech skills. I mean delving into Dwarven ruins was good for the latter three, but more hazardous and potentially takes longer.
Scryer Wut??
It's good for leveling up alteration and crafting gold rings increases the Smithing skill very quickly.

Unbound Dremora requires you to do a quest in the college of winterhold and can only be used in the quest in a certain place.
I facepalmed when he said you can't spawn it.
It's really dumb how people think that you are supposed to be able to still spawn them after the quest. Plus even if it did, the dremora would kill you since its unbound.
Something valuable to note: The Ignite from Azidal's Ring of Arcana stacks, so if you keep casting it over and over on a target that's 4 plus 4 plus 4 etc DoT. Increasing the Flame damage increase perks in Destruction tree will increase the DoT damage. Items that increase Destruction spell damage or fire damage also increase the DoT amount.
yea any spell that can be used alot and has a dot is just dumb
After specifying that these spells are all found in only a single location throughout the game, it would have been extraordinarily helpful to share information regarding where each spell is obtained while demonstrating their effects rather than simply reading their descriptions word-for-word off of the screen.

If you use mods and dont know about "smartcast"...you should probably download it.
Autocasts spells under specific circumstances (ex. below or above a certain health/mana/stamina).
I set it to no crouch/no combat -> make me rich (autotransmute). Some people dont like that automatism though.
Also for smithing gold rings very fast theres a "mod"(single file) that lets you use your a/d keys to choose (ex. feed/pickpocket) and your use-key to accept.

Magic in Skyrim sucks in general. But Conjuration just entirely useless. Well, you can summon some dummies to distract enemies, but in the end if you'd just hit them with something, they woud die faster, and you woldn't even need those dummies.
Relatively useful spells are only weapon spells for early game, soultrap spell and Summon Daedra kinda OK. To use other ones with at least some results you should play on adept and lesser difficulties.
Or you can summon dummies, hit them with some stuff and gain exp for that stuff, (one-handed, two-handed, etc) but it wasn't meant to be used that way, was it?
Edit: Forgot about Arvak. Horsie is OP.
Yeah, I preferred Oblivion's magic system. (I won't say anything about Morrowind because I've never played it)
Morrowinds magic was stupidly powerful once you gained enough levels, but balanced by non regenerating magicka. There are, of course ways around this though. You should definitely play it eventually just remember that it's a *very* old game.
I've heard good things about Morrowind, I just haven't gotten around to buying it on steam
You will hear good things about it, because it's fucking amazing. It's only old in a sense of game mechanics, and visual fidelity. As a game it kicks most modern RPGs into the middle of the last week.
Try it, you won't regret it if you really like TES.

I'm pretty sure the "Summon unbound deadra" spell only works in the summoning circle atop the college of winterhold. It's part of the quest to get the "Conjure Dremora lord" spell.
You get the summon unsound dremora spell only to complete the "conjuration ritual spell quest", only to get a useful item called the sigil stone. The spell works only at a certain place in the college and only works until the quest is over. It makes the spell completely useless afterwards, but you unlock the master level spells to buy from the conjugation teacher in the college

Yeah. That's the only place you can summon it the unbound dremora. But it's useless after the quest. I was thinking about using the console to get rid of the spell from my inventory, but I don't know
Courage Wolf lul u said conjugation
Daniel Pryor lol yeah
it can be summoned on the roof of the college in the summoning circles.
Transmute made my character rich. Love you Transmute.
Lucas Phoenix That probably killed silently with inflation the economy of Skyrim nation lol
Noob
Lucas Phoenix We are twins, we have the same profile pictures
For Camel or new viewers,
Incase no one has said yet or you have yet to hear, I'm fairly certain that the "Unbound Dremora" can only be summoned during the "Conjuration ritual spell" quest when your Conjuration reaches level 90. Also, it can only be summoned in a specific location atop the College of Winterhold.
I think this is correct, I have vague memories trickling back.
Camelworks Gaming I actually was just doing some more research into it and apperantly it can be summoned elsewhere. You travel to the "Atronach Forge" located in "The Midden" under the College of Winterhold, and you can summon them, provided you have a Sigil stone, a Deadra heart, a Skull, and Two Rat meat.
This is actually interesting because i've never heard of this before, The more you know. ;D
ShadowBeatzInc Jr. Any meat will do as long as it's red meat e.g. cow, venison..... rat
Ohh, thank you. that really helps alot, I was actually about to just go kill a TON of Skeevers. Guess i'll be hunting Elk, so much more fun anyways ;D
I just started playing Skyrim again and happened to see u on my home page, haven’t seen ur videos in years. It’s crazy seeing how much content u have now

"There are no summoned or powerful Daedra under my control around here"
*Literally just killed a hostile summoned Daedra he commented on the power of*
Conjuration is just so badass to me can't wait to go again on the remaster ❤️
Apart from its main goal in the Illusion Text quest, Vision of the Tenth Eye grants a night-vision like ability for players who aren't playing as Kajiit or haven't gone vampiric.
5:03 If my sister was 5 years younger, she'd be playing Skyrim nonstop.

That ward is so big it could be part of a hospital.
I for one appreciate the Mayhem reference, I knew you were a metal head. But I did not know you were actually a man of culture.
This will be remembered, Sir Camel.
YESSSS YESSS CAMEL MADE A MAYHEM REFERENCE TRVE KVLT METAL, I LOVE YOU
I miss Oblivion's spell-making...
I know right! I used to be able to cast a 10 magicka spell that drains 100 points of health. No joke.
Lab Matt morowind did it first
That shit was broken! I remember making a spell that drained the enemies magicka to restore my health and drained the enemies health to restore my magicka which allowed me to cast it infinitely and basically made me immortal. I had to ban myself from using it lol
What part of spell-making was done first in Morrowind? Arena had more spell effects and level scaling.
Lab Matt
Speaking of Oblivion, I just remembered that Paralysis was also sort of a rare spell in Oblivion but it certainly wasn't unique, right?
Lightning storm makes you shoot lightning out of your hands, and costs 66, and he didn't make a Palapatine joke
Really didn't expect Thy Art to pop up when I'm nerding out to Skyrim! Subbed!
Camel: "So if we cast it once it'll turn that iron ore into silver ore"
Me: "wait, or what?.......
Oh."
Gonad The Nomad Hahahaha, all I am picturing is the look of confusion :P
would of Been Nice If you told us where you get it
Look them up
There's this great invention named Google
Most of these can be bought if you are strong enough. Some are from DLC quests. And some from normal quests. Lol if you played the game you probably should know that by now
They're in Skyrim

I'm sure even when TES6 comes out people will still flock back to Skyrim just for the nostalgia. Skyrim set Bethesda's bar way too high and they'll never reach that high again

Lightning Kamehameha? That's it, I'm going mage on my next run.
These are not the spells you are looking for.
Move along.
I’ve had this video saved since a few months after it came out. I’m finally doing a playthrough where I am a mage god so I can finally use this.
